This aging Brit is still of the opinion that this is the best cover of BoRhap ever. Think Freddie would have enjoyed this. Looking forward to more Forestella reactions. Heavily Queen influenced original songs would be Save Our Lives and Utopia - parts 1 & 2 of a Queenesque rock opera.
Yes, I was a fan of Queen BEFORE they were famous. Certain that Freddie would have loved this cover. Best, cover I've heard. And when Cho Mingyu sang.. "Mama just killed a man", it felt like a young boy confessing to his mum. I'd recommend "Lazenca, save us", "Time in a bottle", "Hijo de La lune" and work up to "Je suis malade". 😢

The guy doing the highest notes (Kang Hyung-Ho/PITTA) was a Research Chemist who sang part time in a Rock band. He had NO vocal training prior to the show which formed Forestella. 😳 This is the best cover of Bohemian Rhapsody.

technically forestella isn't an acapella band, they're actually a classical crossover quartet. two of them are opera singers one a musical actor and one a freak of nature. you could also call them a vocal group. an example of acapella would be pentatonix. forestella sings with instruments where pentatonix makes the sound of insturments using only their voices.

Thank you for watching Forestella's 'Bohemian Rhapsody' together. I think Freddie Mercury would have been happy if he had heard this cover song. If you like the cover song of their rock version, I recommend 'UTOPIA' from 2022.12.21. This is the original, not the cover. The genre is... it seems to be a mix of a lot of things, but it's usually considered rock opera. It was a song that they requested from a composer who is a fan of QUEEN.

I swear I heard this song by Forestella more than 1000 times but still it shivers. I think you'll like their rocking sound so I recommend Time in a bottle (please blur or darken the video to avoid copyright block, JTBC is mean to reactioners)

Hi~ Thanks for your reaction to FORESTELLA. For those who do not know about FORESTELLA, I'd love to tell you about this group briefly. They've met at a TV audition program called "Phantom Singer 2" which finds the best male cross-over quartet in South Korea in 2017 for the first time. These 4 guys were included(survived) in the final 12 singers among hundreds of applicants. And, the program PD divided those 12 amazing singers into 3 groups as the singers want. And, guess what? They(FORESTELLA = Forest + Stella(star)) won this contest!!!
When they sing on the stage, they normally set their positions like this. The first one from the left side is Ko Woo-Rim(bass, a grad-schooler in vocal music), the second one is Kang Hyeong-Ho(soprano, ex-chemist researcher), the third one is Cho Min-Kyu(tenor, M.A. degree in vocal music) and the fourth one is Bae Doo-Hoon(tenor, musical actor) There're many amazing songs they've covered. I wanna recommend "just a few" songs in the below. If you live in outside of S.Korea, some videos might not be seen, though. Stay safe and have a great one, everybody! 😊
