I called them today. Great customer service and personal approach. The instal should be easy for both items. I had ordered another after market muffler and it was a nightmare. This is the way to go

I just installed mine. It was way looser on the exhaust than your bike, but it tightened up fine. The booster plug was super simple to install It sounds great! 50 and sunny in Chicago today. I'm going for a ride!
Happy to hear and safe riding! Yes, ours was tight because the clamp was tight during installation which helps keeps the gasket from sliding back. We need to note that:).

Great video! Very clear instructions. The sound reccording quality was very good and the bike sounds amazing with the new exhaust. Would love to hear the sound comparison (with the same microphone used in this video) of the stock exhaust vs. the new one! Really thinking of buying one of these exhausts and tuners.

It's a 250. If you are looking for better reideablity, then the muffler plus the booster plug is the way to go. IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO SQUEEZE 1HP, then a custom tune is in order.
@@broguemotorcycles I have now installed the BoosterPlug and it is everything you have described - and more! Has transformed the way the bike rides, its almost like a completely different machine. Could not be happier with it :) Could I also ask re your other mods pictured...is the flat seat available seperate from the BP/muffler kit?

It's our café kit and we use custom dynamic LED strip... we then weld cut and inlay them into the cut down loop.

Yes, it absolutely can.
Could I install the muffler without purchasing the plug to go with it? Worried about how the bike will perform, popping, etc. Thanks.
You can, but you will have some popping. Not as much as others on the market. A Booster Plug will help with that. I hope this helps! Cheers.

It sure can and we've installed plenty of them on customer bikes. They all love it!

Re the booster plug, don't you have to connect a 3rd wire to the ECU? That's what the instructions on boosterplug's website show.
If you follow the video you are... By putting it "inline" with the computer (air temp sensor).

How to dress up the muffler clamp?
So sorry but there is no way to use the stock heat shield. We think if you position the T clamp in-ward everything looks perfect.
