2010 Buick Lacrosse Coolant Bypass Hose Air Bleeding Pipe Replacement | Coolant System Bleed

Before you lift the engine cover up, take off the engine oil cap. Then you'll have to pull the cover upward hard. Sorry the video didn't cover that part.
Make sure the new hose goes downward between other hoses in the correct order, or you'll have to redo it. You might break your new hose!
Bleed the coolant system after.
The hose part number is GM 12637183
Use dexcool coolant (orange) only with GM engines.

I just replaced mine with about a 3 foot long small diameter heater hose cut to length. Much less money, more flexible and easier to install. Has lasted 5 years so far. It does the same thing. I love my Lacrosse! 200,000mi and running great!

Hey, don't know if you'll see this, but the hose that's directly above the coolant bypass hose do you know what it's called? I'm able to pull it out of the air intake hose really easily.

I got the exact same hose but for some reason it doesn’t want to go all the way down? Do you know why or how did you get yours all the way down?

Make sure nothing is stuck in the hose, and then just push really hard until it goes all the way down. I don’t remember doing anything special for that. It was just a weird angle. You might need some hose clamp pliers to do that but I didn’t use those. Good luck!

Lube it up and stick it to the max. Little oil open her right up and just about slip right in.
