K S He used to be the top of his class in assassins for his job, after he found somewhat of a peaceful life after marrying his wife, when she died is probably when he tapped into the dark side again, gaining his lightsaber back. Idk, sounds pretty awesome
Since there are only three types of force users/jedis, I believe he would be a gray jedi because he only kills people when ‘necessary’ and most of them are assassins or involved in some criminal scheme. Also, he kind of just protects himself and the people he cares about (after his retirement) but he is not merciful when these things are put in danger, and that’s is kind of how the gray jedi work. They use dark a light force powers, and they kill when they think it’s necessary while regular jedi usually try a more peaceful approach before killing. And you all know how the dark side works haha.
But I also think the Imperial March would fit perfectly with him hahaha

You must take into consideration who this character is at heart and what this character is doing to achieve his goals. How they are getting things accomplished, and the BIG QUESTION... WHY? I think it's genius that he is using a purple lightsaber. Because he's part Light-Side (his family life with his wife etc.) And now he's part Dark-Side on the path of Revenge. Let us dive into John Wick lore a little deeper to understand what we should call him in the StarWars universe. First off he was already an accomplished and highly skilled warrior before they killed his wife and raped his dog(or whatever) he had a name too "John Wick". Now fast forward to after he swears ultimate vengence for the attrocities committed by a few low-life darksiders. A personal quest to end the Dark-Side personally and completely by FORCING THE FORCE TO BEND TO HIS WILL(a very Dark-Side thing to do), and nothing but his tour de force WILL POWER as his Ally. He carves through all opposition equally. What do we call him now??? or rather what do THEY call him? "The Man Formerly Known as John Wick?" (an obvious Prince reference (who also used the color purple, btw)) hmm. He's obviously NOT a Sith (so no using Darth*blah blah blah*) he's beyond that. (no using former character names from other SW publications... This character is unique) he's not a Jedi anymore either, (so no using the title master)... What is his name??? The Revenger?... Or simply Vengence... maybe Vengence is his title and Wick is his Name... Vengence Wick!!! This has a beautiful ring to it. Let it roll of your tongue then watch this video again. VENGENCE WICK!!

The funny thing is that no combat was needed in the motorcycle chase as all they had to do was swipe Wicks tires with a lightsaber to finish him. But lightsabers still make that scene even more awesome, even though it’s illogical.

Only racists care about the race of the people in films, which is why I hate all the people who complain about "diversity"... all I hear is racist complaining about how thier skin color isnt represented in the movie. So much so that the studio then has to bend over backward for them, and on top of that the person has to look great but heaven forbid if that racist finds the character to be lacking.
What you end up with is a crappy story and characters, because they tried to appease the bigots who only care about the physical appearance of a character, at the expense of everything else.
Race and sex of a character is supposed to be arbitrary... but not to the hate mob who attacks you under the banner of social justice. Star wars sucks now because racists and sexists got ahold of it. You want good stories and characters than you have to kick those people to the curb.

@@Johnnybravo40 No, canon Revan has always been male. Since 2005, when the source book came out. Before that the character was gender neutral, but it was obviously geared towards male players (the promotion of Bastila on every game cover, the love interest, the bond with her, the final battle with her making more of an emotional impact with the male dialogue, the decision to make him officially male being described as "default", etc etc).
It's only been even more cemented since the source book came out, first with the Bane trilogy describing Revan as Male in 2006, then with the Revan novel and finally with the SWTOR introducing him as a non playable character. Not to mention all the writers/creators and even George Lucas referring to him as male.
The only writer who pushed for female was David Gaider, and that's because he was in charge of the female Revan x Carth dialogue (so of course he would want his dialogue to be canon).

Eh. The fights in Force Awakens and Last Jedi were very well done. Better than the prequels, in point of fact, and the cinematography of the throne room brawl was incredible.

You might want to check your defense of TLJ. The throne room scene was awful. You can even see they edited out a weapon for a guard not to kill Rey.

@@DOMINGUEZCHRIS Love the prequels and i get chills every time i watch them but kevan is right. the saber duels are heavily choreographed in the prequels (as they should be ) but a real life saber duel would prob go something like this scene because the key is survival and subduing the opponent by any means necessary is paramount.

That would be fun though. Set shortly before Episode 1, he goes on a Force Journey like he had Yoda do later. On Korraban he meets a Force Apparition of Darth Reaven played by Reaves. Unlike Yoda, he pulls a Luke and ignites his lightsaber. They both adopt modified versions of their other characters and the most epic lightsaber duel in Star Wars history plays out. For story reasons Qui Gon wins but it's super close. The whole thing could be a 15 minute short film, shot by Disney so it's official.
