    i think the most satisfying thing is achieving playing the pieces that you love listening to on any instrument. I am so happy I learnt playing piano

    • @ayhamshaheed7740
      @ayhamshaheed7740 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      that's pretty much what i do all the time lol. The annoying thing is that a lot of the time, when I learn a song (on piano though; the opposite happens for other instruments i play for some reason), I lose the initial passion i had for it, and when i finish learning it i sort of just dont like it anywhere near as much as i initially did, No clue why though

      Sofia B oh right. I’d say carry on with it and don’t let a week pass where you don’t play it for at least an hour in total. I play guitar in addition to violin and piano, and the weird thing is that my instrument of choice (I.e. the one I spend most of my time on) changes with my musical tastes. So I’ve gotten back into daily piano practice for hours as I’ve somehow switched my musical tastes back to classical music, but started to neglect guitar, (which I play rock music on, as that was my main musical taste a month ago), which up until June I was playing as frequently as I now play piano. I don’t really know why but I often get obsessed with one genre or artist or something like that, and then soon after lose that obsession only to find myself able to exclusively listen to something else. Like I can only really love one genre at a time for some reason and it’s really annoying because I want to have a passion for all genres I’ve liked previously so I can get equal enjoyment from playing each of my instruments, but it just doesn’t happen for some reason

      +Jeanarick at huge stretches such as at 0:13 you can play the left notes near the right hand with the right hand. You can use your thumb while the other fingers of the right hand focuses on the other five notes.

      Amayraaa first cadenza isn't hard. Second one is pretty hard for me because the grace notes were written so small on my music, I couldn't keep track of both hands together.. eventually got it though.

      Other than the doubles scale near the beginning of the piece, and the (arguably actually pretty easy) jumps at 1:55, the piece is really easy. Both can also be learnt in a fairly short amount of time through rigorous practice ;)

It's too bad I wouldn't be able to do so since I'm still not that good at playing and my school year is going to end soon. O lieb', solang du lieben kannst!
    O lieb', solang du lieben magst!
    Die Stunde kommt, die Stunde kommt,
    Wo du an Gräbern stehst und klagst!
    Und sorge, daß dein Herze glüht
    Und Liebe hegt und Liebe trägt,
    Solang ihm noch ein ander Herz
    In Liebe warm entgegenschlägt!
    Und wer dir seine Brust erschließt,
    O tu ihm, was du kannst, zulieb'!
    Und mach' ihm jede Stunde froh,
    Und mach ihm keine Stunde trüb!
    Und hüte deine Zunge wohl,
    Bald ist ein böses Wort gesagt!
    O Gott, es war nicht bös gemeint, -
    Der andre aber geht und klagt.
    O lieb', solang du lieben kannst!
    O lieb', solang du lieben magst!
    Die Stunde kommt, die Stunde kommt,
    Wo du an Gräbern stehst und klagst!
    Dann kniest du nieder an der Gruft
    Und birgst die Augen, trüb und naß,
    - Sie sehn den andern nimmermehr -
    Ins lange, feuchte Kirchhofsgras.
    Und sprichst: O schau' auf mich herab,
    Der hier an deinem Grabe weint!
    Vergib, daß ich gekränkt dich hab'!
    O Gott, es war nicht bös gemeint!
    Er aber sieht und hört dich nicht,
    Kommt nicht, daß du ihn froh umfängst;
    Der Mund, der oft dich küßte, spricht
    Nie wieder: Ich vergab dir längst!
    Er tat's, vergab dir lange schon,
    Doch manche heiße Träne fiel
    Um dich und um dein herbes Wort -
    Doch still - er ruht, er ist am Ziel!
    O lieb', solang du lieben kannst!
    O lieb', solang du lieben magst!
    Die Stunde kommt, die Stunde kommt,
    Wo du an Gräbern stehst und klagst!

    For anyone having trouble learning from this video, especially the beginning, it's because the c notes should be played on the right hand, not the left whenever there is a bass note being played. I'm not assuming this, i actually checked the sheet music for this piece. Wouldn't be surprised if there were a few other errors like this.

    • @feldspardelta21
      @feldspardelta21 8 ปีที่แล้ว +103

      Franz liszt had huge hands, he could reach 12ths at a stretch, so when he wrote his best pieces, he wrote music that was hard at times for his giant fucking hands to play, which makes it nigh on impossible for most pianists to play.
      many of his pieces have to be altered in order for most "normies" to play certain parts.
      he was/is also considered one of the best, if not the best pianists to ever live. so...there's that too.

      francisco scagliarini that's why you're not famous
      There are such things are wrong fingerings, my piano teacher spends a lot of time trying different fingers for phrases because they're very important both technically ahd musically. If you just make up your own fingers with no understanding you get into beginner habits where you feel comfortable, but you lack the translateable technique to play at any tempo with clear legato - so his question has an actual answer. What you basically said was:
      'What's the best way to favtorise a quadratic?'
      'Just make up your own method and stick with it'
      The question has multiple correct answers, and yet you still managed to give a wrong one - that takes effort, i commend you on that
