Tyra Eide am I strange for not getting like that at all?? Like I play and practice every piece and love it, even every mistake is me learning because I know if I keep doing it I will be able to sound beautiful. Like I never get annoyed at learning hard piano songs...maybe I’m just super resilient or super passionate for piano who knows...nothing else I do I’m this excited or happy to practice (ok well maybe singing) this piece is so beautiful.
but how did you know the fingers placement? is it supposed to be logical? because if i improvise it doesn’t add up to the correct one that’s why i am learning this from a actual pianist playing it, from which i can see the correct position of the hand and fingers
alison picket I can actually play this 95 percent perfectly. Believe it or not it's not as hard as it looks. The notes are fairly easy but the challenging part is the rhythm. Took me about a year just to get the first 3 minutes down packed..another 5 to go.

Did it reach her... Seriously though, I do really love this piece, it's sad and powerful, and very pretty in some parts. It also amazes me how it goes from being easy to very difficult quickly.
I know people get annoyed by the Shigatsu fans in the comments, but I find the pretentuous people who call this piece EASY a hundred times more annoying.
+Gina Daelrym Honestly, sorry, it kinda is, it's certainly much easier than most people think, when all you need to play it is, at minimum, 4 years of common practice, a good ear, and some basic techniques for playing fast. I find the annoying kids that end up on every video saying "how is this even possible lol scary :d" much more annoying. Good thing they mostly only listen to Beethoven anyway. Chopin and Liszt are much better.
Jimmy Rodriguez I really didn't word this right at all did I. Ok so I myself learned about 70% of this piece within a few weeks and I've never had a single piano lesson so I KNOW it isn't impossible. I was literally just dissing all the people commenting "ew weeaboos are ruining Classical Music" by comparing them to something I found annoying. Goodbye and I'm done with this comment thread.

+Everyone above I was just about to say that. "Classical music" as used today can be split into 4 categories. Correct me if I am wrong. Baroque Classical Romantic Impressionistic (Debussy did not like his music being called like that)
A sigh of a mother who has lost her only child, grief of abandonment, a wish in despair to see your country again.. it is so heart breaking. Oh Chopin and music makes human intellect something to be proud of.
+Mark Callaway idk about you guys but that part makes me cry, the piano sounds soooo sad (not in this one as much), almost as if it's screaming and crying
15ironreaver same here, the balad scene from the movie touched my heart even tho i "didnt liked" this piece, but since that moment, all i want to do is learn it
While this channel is to help people with playing the right notes, a certain emotional connection can only be created with an actual piano in front of you, especially for this beautiful piece. The dynamics must come from the heart as well as the triplets near the end.
i noticed that there are a few notes that differ from my sheet music. not sure why that is but its probably best to double-check with sheets if anyone plans on learning the piece using this tutorial. at 3:36, for example, my sheets have Eb-Cb-Ab on the left hand instead of Eb-Eb-Ab.

Stretching exercises? Chord exercises? Oh and i’m merely a square one begginer right now, just very recently started playing piano and practicing. I am figuring that chord out because it got my interest while looking at the synthesia.
I guess practicing those kinds of chords a lot will help. The Rachmaninoff prelude in c sharp minor has those massive chords too at the end. At first i could barely reach the chords, but after 2/3 weeks of practice i am now perfectly able to reach them.... So good luck practicing! I do think doing warm up at the piano helps too and stretching might help.
thank you for the video I learned the song until 1:55 and I give up but it's my favorite part of the song and I'm very proud to be able to play it. THANK YOU
at 1:51 you have to play FADmnF 5 times in your left hand. Here, it sounds warm, but when I play those notes, it' sounds sharper and not right. Is it really those keys?
There is a measure at 5:33 where the right hand plays an "A" four times when it supposed to be an "Ab" each time. Then notes should be, in order D#, Ab, E, D, Ab, E, C Ab, E, B, E". it throws off the whole sequence and sounds generally bad but otherwise the video is great.
i honestly ddont give any fuck about liszt , rachmaninoff, mozart, beethoven, whoever the fuck , name whatever u want, chopin is in a class for himself, notsaying his compositions are more difficult, its just i can connect to his music in a different way.

+SANS Denis You have to watch Shigatsu wa kimi no uso to understand
'kay
Sooooooo i guess you're watching it, right ?
no D:
My favorite part at this song :
1. 2:17-2:46
2. 3:27-3:51
3. 4:39-5:58
4. 6:28-7:02
5. 7:50-8:24
Edit : Btw for my opinion part 5:53-5:58 is catchy
Sounds badass bro 2:22
Its even more badass when you play it
Then learn it idiot
at 1:51 you have to play FADmnF 5 times in your left hand. Here, it sounds warm, but when I play those notes, it' sounds sharper and not right. Is it really those keys?
Yato play them softer
You have to be a real god, Yato.
Hell yeah this is 🔥
No One Can Play This... This Too Perfect
I wish people would pay you to actually write stories to music. That'd be my dream job
This song is why I continue to learn the piano. At some point I want to be able to play this song perfectly, only then I am satisfied.
it's kind of easy in my opponion
@@softbroed1887how long have you been playing piano
damn kaori!!! son of a angel! 😭😭
true...
7:10 where the crippling part starts (for the ones who watched your lie in april)
That is a lot of sparkles.
Shigatsu Throwback Feels...
kaori-chan?😢
2nd World War Throwback
Chopin has made a lot of
excellent musical peices.
But I love this more than the
others.
i honestly ddont give any fuck about liszt , rachmaninoff, mozart, beethoven, whoever the fuck , name whatever u want, chopin is in a class for himself, notsaying his compositions are more difficult, its just i can connect to his music in a different way.
I feel the same about franz liszt, But chopin has to be my second favourite
I didn't knew that Marioverehrer did songs like these, txs ^-^
Espetacular, música bela!
I like Chopin and his music
I like youu
that's it. I'm playing this shit. Idc if it takes me a 1 year or 2
