  • Alcohol ink art - circle technique.
I'm stepping out of my alcohol ink comfort zone in this video which is really good to do once in a while because sometimes we (me) tend to get a little stuck doing to much of the same stuff.
There are so many possibilities with alcohol ink and sometimes it's just so much fun trying something completely different and new.
Had so much fun with this and I am definitely going to try something like this again, experimenting with other colors.
I didnt realize till after I was done, that this looks a lot like weeding rings.... so maybe this could be used as weeding or anniversary gift.
Thank you for watching - hope you liked it and feel inspired to step out of your comfort zone.

Your experiment turned out beautiful!!💕 It would make a perfect wedding card with the 2 "rings"!! You can add the sentiment... "Two Become One".💑 You can even do their wedding colors!! If you scan your artwork or take a photo then you can print it out any size you want. Thank you for the inspiration!!🥰 Blessings... ~Tracy

I ❤️ this Randi! It was a bit too ‘clean’ until you added the splashes…suits the style of your painting and just what it needed (although I did love it before too 😂) 😍

Thank you very much ❤️ I agree, it needed the splashes, something was missing 😃

I like it too, very much! You make it look so easy. The 2 rings are a terrific idea - it gives it something special - the bold and the genle - I am getting a little frustrated atm. I have 3 different types of dryer type gadgets - 2 are far too strong and the other is too weak 🤣🤣🤣. I have ordered a Remmington, it inlo has 400 watt and not the best critics, so I hope its just what I need - somerhing in between lol. I sure have a hard time controlling these thin lines all over the place and cant even leave lines with a metalic ridge on each 🤪. My Nara paper came and ofc I expected magic, although I do know its a case of practice makes perfect🤔 - well its a case of hope dies last! I am not giving up, but will go a bit easy on the good paper from England until my Remington arrives - I do think besides my silly self, thats what is needed mostly. I am enjoying it though- even trying to control the ink on the paper - its really hard - do other people also struggel with it?
I live watching you also hear ing you think out loud at times - I think it deffinatly helps. I also love how when you are not so satisfied with something and your steps to rectafing it into something very beautifil. I agree you currant and moss work very nicely together! 🧚🏼‍♀️💕

Sorry for the late reply, I’ve been sick for a long time. So glad you like the tutorial and I hope you still having fun with your inks. 😊🙌😄
(And, EVERYONE struggles with ink in the beginning, I did too ☺️ )

This is very beautiful; could you tell me how you did the splashes, is it black ink without alcool ? Thanks

Hi Randi, that’s very lovely indeed! So creative! Thank you for sharing. Unfortunately we don’t get the brass and many other colours here in India. I have been painting sceneries with these inks which I found challenging at first, but I grew to love the way the inks flowed. Would you share your email address so that I could share some of what I have done? I would love and value your feedback.
