Another Magical Scenic ride on the C15 Hugh, peace and tranquility just the lapping of the water on the lochside and the rustling of the trees what more could anyone ask in this troubled world, take care, Colin.
Thank you very much but I can't take the credit. Someone restored the bike in the past and the chrome is all good. It could maybe do with a paint job but its is all part of its history. It is a fun wee bike to use.
Hugh this is such a treat to watch and listen to. The sound of the c15 is very musical and the scenery spectacular. Many thanks for sharing this with us all.
I am recovering from a stroke which has left me with vision problems. whether the eyes recover sufficiently to ride my bikes again time will tell. In the mean time Hugh willk eep me suitably entertained. So peaceful.
@@rodneystacey1155 I am so sorry about your stroke. That is something I would dread. I pray you will make a good recovery and get back on your bikes. I'm glad my wee films are of help.
@@karlpascoewelldone4173 Karl, I really appreciate your very kind and too generous comments. I'm fortunate to own the wee bike and live where I do. I'm glad you enjoy the films. They take an age to make, longer than the trip. I have been storing up some film to put together when I am recovering from surgery to take place a week Monday.
Good to see you out Hugh. I am just getting my bikes insured and sorted for the road. Its been very warm down here in Co. Durham today , hope you are well Regards Stuart from further South
Hello Anne and thank you for the nice comment. The Enfield Meteor is a really pretty bike. If I was buying a modern bike that's what I'd go for. Enjoy it.
I had the 350cc version the B40, it was a very reliable and enjoyable bike to ride. I rode it down to cornwall with my girlfriend in the1970s and got drunk on cider. Happy days 👍😎
The B40 would have that extra bit of helpful power. There is something of a challenge going out on the wee 250. I'm delighted and amazed to hear the B40 was reliable!
A delightful ride, thanks for taking us with you. I really enjoy your videos. The BSA sounds fine and looks a treat. You've done well with the oil leaks. I think my AJS gearbox still weeps a tiny amount. At present, I'm fitting a new centre stand but I think it will have to wait until my son can help me to finish it because I'm just not as strong as I used to be.
Hello William, you are always so positive in commenting. Thank you. I've replied to someone else that the engine can sound like a bucket of marbles! It is great to have strong sons. I have two! I would settle for a tiny amount leaking from a gearbox!
Off out touring around on my B.40 -C.15T hybrid soon enough, once I've sorted the fuel tank weld porosity problem.Probably out into East Anglia, and maybe across to mid Wales ... We'll see...
Davey enjoy your wee trip out. Maybe these bikes should have been called a BSA Porosity. They can leak almost anywhere. I was hoping to go to Orkney this week but the weather forecast was not great for an old man and an old bike! Thank you for commenting.
One of the more successful mods I've done to my 1960 C15 was to convert it to electronic ignition, doesn't much help with the cursed oil leaks though !!😊
Hello Denls I did have Boyer electronic ignition but when I used a Chinese copy of a Honda 6V regulator/rectifier I fried all my LED bulbs and the Boyer unit. I am back to points and feel a lot happier with them. The oil leaks are a curse.
Hi from Cumbria I've done many roads in most of Scotland Shetland. Orkney Hebrides... including just over the border from carlisle..... it's a tick the box for me sir where you have been in this vid ...always on lookout for different roads...last time I was on a c15 was a farm field bike at cousin's back in the late 60s and my gamekeeper mate had one too he ran it for ages without tappet cover🙄🤣 very familiar engine sound off your bike.....cracking wee vid 👏👏atb...
As always great videos , I have a Triumph T90 and hope to do a similar tour style around my area here in the Cotswolds in Gloucestershire (while trying to avoid the tourists). Glad you fixed your oil leak or most of the heavy external leaks . Looking forward to the next video . Regards Stu.
Hello Stu and thank you for the comment. The Triumph T90 is a beautiful bike. A sensible engine size. Enjoy it. I am so glad you are going to use it and not just admire it. I have never been to the Cotswolds but it looks beautiful.
I envy you your road surfaces, even your minor roads.... Ours are more suited to off roaders. Had my first run of the year and roads around the north Yorkshire moors are atrocious. I did enjoy despite though..
I know what you mean, and as you get older that does become a problem, if you know what I mean! I will have to experiment with my recording set up. Thanks Michael.

It is a lovely thing Colin to get out on a bike from the '50s and go to smashing places. I am blessed. Thank you for commenting.
Hi Hugh the bike looks really well a credit to you. I love to see these old bikes being used and not being trailered to classic bike shows etc. thks

Wow, that is such a kind thing to say. So glad you enjoyed it. Thank you.
It must be summer or heading that way, Mr Hugh is out on the c15, which is sounding very nice and running very well.
Thanks Frank. It's snowdrops, then daffodils, then swallows and then C15s. The progress into summer! Today was hot here!

Good news on getting on top of the oil leaks, the bike sounds well and starts easy.
It is a lot better, but do I trust it? Thanks for the comment.
Your videos are really something very relaxing ,the bike the sound of the bike the scenery and your proper scotts voice a winning combo

Hello Stuart, it was very warm here today as well, at long last. Hope you get out on your bikes soon. Take care.
It's great to see you out enjoying your bike again, we've just got ourselves a Royal Enfield Meteor

Yes, in fact it was very reliable, but then it was 50 years ago and therefore not as old as yours is now.
Another enjoyable video, thanks.
Thank you John I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Thank you Colin. Some days they are not so relaxing for me!
Wonderful to see you on the road and the C15 running so sweetly. Thanks for the ride Hugh.
Cheers, Peter.
It is great to be out on the road but running sweetly! Sometimes it sounds like a bucket of marbles. Thanks Peter for taking time to comment.

Its MrT BSA c15 great bike it actually was my first motorcycle before I went Japanese on Yamaha RD 200 sounds great beautiful color
The RD200 was a nice wee but fast two stroke. I like the green the bike is. Thanks for commenting Pamela.

Chris to be honest the road surfaces are not great up here. Maybe my cheap camera gives a false illusion!! Thanks for commenting.
The c15 sounds nice Hugh. Shame you have wind problems ,if you know what I mean.😊
