    Добрый день! А где можно найти вопросы к подтемам к 3ей части устной части?

    Great video for my speaking exam on Thursday. It sad that Aqa doesn’t do gcse russian because for Aqa we know the conversation questions whereas for Aqa it is unknown

      Well, maybe things will change and AQA will start providing Russian as well.

    Privet! I am a teacher in my second year of NQT and have volunteered to run a pupil's Russian GCSE next year as I am half Russian and speak fluently. Having never been an examiner before, I wanted to check how the pupil goes about selecting their theme / topic for the first part of their conversation/presentation? Are there any parameters for this? Can they pick anything? And how specific should their selection be? Do they need to focus on a specific thing within their topic? I seem to recall doing this when I was doing my Alevel... Many thanks

      Hi, that’s cool that you volunteered to do this!
      For GCSE, students can choose themselves what they’ll talk about. It has to be on one of the five GCSE topics though.. and the presentation shouldn’t be longer than 1 min.

    Hi! My school didn't give me a chance to do a Russian GCSE due to the political situation that happened & now that I'm no longer in High School, I'd like to take a Russian GCSE anytime but I just don't know where to look to apply. Any place you can refer me to? Thanks

    • @MoscowO
      @MoscowO  ปีที่แล้ว

      Привет! I’m sorry to hear your school wouldn’t provide GCSE Russian.. I really don’t think it’s because of the political situation. Some schools have certain policies which they have to abide by. This has been the case for years now.
      It’s not a problem, if you sit the exam as a private candidate at a different school.
      Check out Tutors and Exams on Google. Or do a search by subject/postcode/exam board www.jcq.org.uk/private-candidates/

    I also have one question, when describing the photo what are the main things you need to say to get the top marks

    • @MoscowO
      @MoscowO  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You need to be descriptive, use uncommon word eg. adjectives. If you're describing people, say what they're wearing, what colours, describe how they look, what they're doing.
      Also, you get a mark for expressing opinions. eg. you may say Я думаю, эта девушка студентка, потому что она молодая и она читает книгу в библиотеке.
      There should't be any hesitation pauses.

    Any advice on how to prepare for the conversation as I will not know the questions I will be asked

    • @MoscowO
      @MoscowO  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You need to stick to the themes and topics. Here's a link to a range of questions that you may want to practise verbally. Literally, read a question, and answer it out loud quizizz.com/join?gc=46711733

    Is there a list for the unfamiliar vocabulary and do you get extra marks for it

    • @MoscowO
      @MoscowO  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's called "uncommon words". Yes, there's a list, you can find it here qualifications.pearson.com/en/qualifications/edexcel-gcses/russian-2017.coursematerials.html#%2FfilterQuery=category:Pearson-UK:Category%2FTeaching-and-learning-materials
      It's under "teacher support", called Vocabulary list. You will find the vocabulary for foundation and higher tier there
