- We finally went through Kaiser Pass in the Sierra National Forest. We can get to Shaver Lake and Huntington Lake on a paved road, but if you try to go further, you need to use Kaiser Pass. We went to Lake Edison and Florence Lake. So beautiful!!
I attended Camp Oljato Boy Scout Camp at Huntington Lake in 1971. I always dreamt of continuing up the road to Lake Edison and Florence Lake, but never made it. Thanks for taking us along on your trip. I really enjoyed your video.

I have not been there in years & sad to see they have had Forest Fire
I know.... It was sad to see the damage. But, I still love that place. I would like to go back and be in Sierra☺ I saw some new growths, and it was sweet to see.

Recut the audio. Music was VERY LOUD, voices very quiet. It was hard to hear what you were saying.

@@outdoorlifeofindoorperson1263 You're welcome! I'd also like to add that Kaiser Pass is a quintessential motorcycle road, an extreme-level goat trail and super fun to ride. Plus, on a bike, you can dodge all the potholes!
Furthermore, as of July 2022 the road has been patched / repaired up to the bridge. After the bridge it's still pothole city. I have heard, but cannot verify, that the branch to Florence Lake has been patched all the way.
