    Well, you've taught me something. My S-197 clicks from time to time but never consistently, so I've never got around to changing it out. It's really good to see a woman so into cars. Continue on.

    Awesome video! Thank you so much! You are also one of the only people to document the part# and share that American Muscle PDF. GREAT JOB!

    I have a 2010 mustang V6. I love my car but when I got it from the dealership a bunch of con artists I had a lot of issues with the air conditioner. It works fine with the cold air. I wasn't getting anymore heat anymore it just stopped working plus it kept making clicking noises each time I try. I'm definitely going to try this out to save some money and see since I'm have smaller hands it should be simple it might take time but I got to try thanks for the help. Now that is straight up girl power there. 😁 Its so cold. 🥶

    You and I seem to have all the exact same problems with our Mustangs. I had to replace all three under dash AC components. I had a hell of a time taking the spoiler off my deck lid and I have that clicking noise when I try to unlock my trunk as well. And I had to replace the junction box for the coolant system

    I’m in the process of buying an 07 Mustang GT from my uncle and wanted to know how easy it is to replace this issue it has along with the dang door panels peeling off. Other than those two issues the car is in great shape.

    Yours is the 1st video on here that showed which way the actuator arm has to face when putting it back in. Mine was already out when i bought the car. So i was lost,did it sit at 6 oclock or 12 oclock or what? Hard part was getting the screw ready without the actuator falling. Works great now,tks.

      I'm glad you were able to get it back working properly. It's such a headache to fix, but worth the struggle.

      I included the 2010 because of the coyote. I love the look of my 07, but would love the interior from the 2011-2014.

    I just replaced mine yesterday, however it was a pain to get the right actuator, even I had removed the old one and take note of the part number (btw the actuator I bought came with lever). Something else that I learned is not to connect the actuator without being installed as the lever will move to a position that will not fit, so I had to open the actuator take out a gear and move back the lever. Also I took out the glove box completely and the airbag so I got better space and view

    • @JazzWolfe
      @JazzWolfe  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      i give you props for taking out the glove box and airbag. This part is definitely a pain to replace, but it is sooo worth it to not have the clicking

  • @PamGraham

    So it sounds like it didn’t make the noise just on the defroster setting for you? Mine is doing it on all settings, but I watched another video where the guy was only having it click when it was in defrost.

    After removing the actuator the air won’t blow from the vents. It’s working but it’s only working for the defrost…I installed back the old one and same thing, no air out of the vents just the defrost. Would anyone know what happened or how to solve this
