You can also make an actual espresso with the Aeropress. My recipe; - Aeropress with Aeropress pressure/espresso head , metal filter and paper filter (under metal) - 15gms Kirkland espresso coffee very very finely ground (conical burr) - load coffee and tamp down hard (I use a SS Sauerkraut/Kimchee Pounder Tamper) - use 1/4 cup water at 205F - pour water and start pressing immediately, push hard and when pressure breaks an even push all the way to the bottom That's it, makes a fabulous shot, add water to make a 6oz Aerocono or milk for latte. it is not bitter and has a velvet like feel that has a butter flavor, yep butter, that's how I taste it.
