  • In this film Mikael deals with is “fly tying material from hell” - deer hair! To fish on the surface is exciting and can be done with fat bombers or lightly dressed classic dries. We prefer flies that are possible to skate even in hard wavy waters. This little discrete brown fly is thanks to the combination of deer hair and foam almost impossible to sink. It’s about as close to an insect imitation as any of our flies will be and we just love it both for salmon and sea trout, but also for hard fighting steelhead. Waker Takers are going to take more room in our dry fly boxes. Don’t be surprised if they pop up in hot green or even fluorescent orange.
