    Just found this series of videos. I've become a VW guy due to owning a GTI, but I've always liked the non-turbo RS. I will just say that I would rather clean a white car than a black car. Such a pain in the balls.

    I need that shirt 😂
    Not a bad specimen at all. Bummer about the trunk sill, pretty common.
    Also testify 🙌 do not jack on the jack points. There is so many better places to lift from.

      Dads need acknowledgment too! I wish everyone who ever worked on these knew the correct spots to use. Not detrimental damage, just a bummer.

    What is the problem with rust ultimately? I purchased a 2.5rs a few years ago and I would like to start working on it.

    Hey man. The diode dynamics on your tundra. Did u aim them all the way down? Im losing my mind trying to get these things lined up properly

    • @RoadPatina
      @RoadPatina  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I aimed them all the way down for city driving. They can come up a bit but you need to use a wall and measure some sort of way to not blind everyone. I’m too lazy!

    They all rot on the corner, design fault of water staying in the indentation etc.

      Since I was the first owner and I always garaged mine, I don't ever see rust like that in mine. I'm pretty sure previous owners parked them outside all the time to get the water condensation/dripped and stay for too long and caused the rusts. I think your black one pretty much stayed in a garage most of the time. I realized that rust on my after market ebay tie rod when I replaced the old factory ones and parked mine outside for over a year. I thought it coule be due to aftermarket parts. But there's a high chance it's because it's parked outside for too long.

      @@dakenic Yup outside parking will eat away at the car, and clear coat. Funny because my clear is mint! Northern CA always overcast and no sun! Yours sounds nice, want to sell it!?
