It does not work "instantly" and, yes, one has to set it up in order for it to work. I've tried twice and an "automatic download" of data did not happen on either occasion.

Hey Dianne! We've since made some updates to our product so the gem won't show up anymore. You'll have to click on the Magical icon in your extension bar and in the side panel, click on the "Transfers" tab. From there, you just scroll to the bottom and there's a blue button that says "Transfer." Hit that and you'll be able to move the info to a good sheet! Hope that helps :)
@Magical Team - I don't see the "Variables Tab" in my extension, I can only see Shortcuts and Transfers Tabs. Is there any particular setting to enable that?

We've recently changed the layout so it's easier to navigate for our users: community.getmagical.com/whats-new/post/transfers-improvements-Ua0qVPwYYhzeCCi You can still add your own custom variables by going to the Transfer tab and clicking on "+ Add more" :) Hope this helps and do let us know if you have any other questions!
The transfer tab requires labelling, which is manuel. Some web can't be scraped it seems or am i using it wrongly? If i have to manually label each content on site to scrape everything, this is slower than copy and pasting
The Transfer tab should have most things on your webpage already labeled if it's a common webpage. If it's an internal tool or bespoke site, you will have to label the info but you only have to do it once, and Magical will remember! What site are you trying to scrape/what's your use case?
This will “NOT scape any site”… don’t let them lie to you. I’ve personally tried it and this extension does not work when the site is in adobe PDF web view format.
@@get_magical I tried to change the reference email because of this. But still doesn't work when I give access to the new mail. Keeps wanting access to the first email even after I delete and reload it.

PRIORTIY FIX NEEDED HERE: I'm trying to Signup. Problem: the form won't accept a First or Last Name. Signup dies before we ever begin.

We don't support PDFs, yet!
Looks super useful. But when I need to grant access to Google Sheets, it says it can change or delete any of my existing Google Sheets.
That's the permissions needed to create the automation. We never delete your Sheets, and only change them when you tell us to!

Magical works in LinkedIn SERPs for now! For Google Maps, you can scrape the data but just need to open up all the business pages as new tabs.
