For me it was worth the wait. I was a reader when it was coming out weekly and since then it left a bland taste in my mouth. The anime has gone beyond expectations and they even added more things from the source material. It felt like they were reminding us and new anime watchers who was in the OG big 3. I am personally pleased with it so far.
@@indifference115I heavily respect kubo for going back all these years later and making the adaptation for TYBW but what I respect him even more as an author and creator of this manga/anime is that he is altering the final arc to make it into the vision he always wanted for this arc. Personally anything he adds is something we should be grateful for (not at all saying anyone isn’t!!)
@@indifference115 Another thing is that Kubo, after few years, could have put some thinking into Bleach, and how things would make more sense, or which things happening off-screen in manga, should be on-screen. cour#2 is at the stage, where things went hasty in manga (due to Kubo health issues at that time)... so i wouldn't mind if some plots will be told a bit differently, some explored deeper or wider. Also, with 4 cours planned and current pacing, we will either get, a lot of extra scene's... or maybe Can't Fear Your Own World novel, getting animated... either of which being amazing news for Bleach fans.
A complaint a lot of viewers/readers would share is the Byakuya fake out death. When in reality, Kubo always intended to kill him off in the first invasion. But a lot of angry letters and backlash from readers would force him to bring Byakuya back to life. Which yeah was kinda anticlimactic, but I still think the moment of him begging Ichigo to protect the Soul Society was extremely powerful
Yes a truly vulnerable moment for byakuya I think helped to humanise his character considering how cold and withdrawn he was for most of bleach I loved it.
That is just a rumor, there is no evidence of these "stalkers" or "complaint" because if this was the case then why did unohana and yamamoto die (these were popular in their own right)? Weekly mangaka don't have time to bother with this when they are busy finish up their weekly manga chapters. "Fake deaths" happens a lot in animes, but its how its done that matters and in the case of Byakuya it was the realization being put in the same shoes as renji was in during SS and this marked his first "defeat". If Byakuya had died it would have also defeated the whole purpose of renji becoming a captain if that ever happens in the future.
@@exodus9669 Has there ever been a case where a mangaka has died because a fan went full Yandere because they killed off or did a character dirty? Its basically empty words which most of these Mangaka understands, and the media wants to milk drama for clicks and viewers. They probably read internet forums back then, and claimed that as "threat" which wouldn't suprise me.
@@indifference115 In comparison the anime is more logically and better executed in most places compared to the manga, where events of things is more natural and has a consistent tone, but its 50/50 some places where the anime explains more than we got in the manga and other places the manga expands on certain areas. Like we never got to see anything about the Ichigo training in the manga, but the anime managed to expand on it and also use references to the novels. In cour 1 how Uryu joined the wandenreich were never shown in full details in the manga. in the manga we got explanation for why people were disappearing in the Rukongai district in cour 1, while the anime made it more ambiguous and played off the show and don't tell aspect (cut short). The anime expanded a lot on the Unohana fight as in the manga it was very hard to understand what the heck was going on. As someone who have read the whole manga and up to current with the anime I will say the anime so far has adapted it pretty well, sure there are some cuts here and there which is a bummer, but those are for the most minor details which isn't important in the grand scheme of things. Cour 3 and 4 is where people are most excited to see how the anime handles as its going to have the most changes with new source materials we haven't seen before. Basically after cour 2 we are moving in to a 2.88 chapters per episode on average (maybe less if they cut stuff) compared to what we have now which is around 5+ chapters on average (cour 1 had 4.8). Kubo is also working on this so if some stuff is cut and added it has most likely gone through an approval by Kubo who has hindsight of things.
"I started with the Bleach dub. I'll finish the the Bleach dub. Godammit." 😂. I'm right there with you partner. I've always been that few percent of people who prefer the dub over sub on any anime.
Amazing review. And i just want to say that Ichigo being quincy (And Zangetsu being his quincy powers) was foreshadowed very early in the series. In the very first episode of anime we can see a quincy cross on Ichigo's bed (and there is more quincy attributes around/on Ichigo that we can see through the anime and manga. Or some symbolic moments like the manga page with Ichigo's Frankenstein design, representing that Ichigo is Frankenstein made of different powers/races). All early powerful moments of Ichigo can be explained by his quincy nature: Ichigo got all Rukia shinigami powers instead of small portion? Quincy's fast reishi absorption ability. Ichigo easy learns how to visualise spiritual power into ribbons, even if shinigami need years to learn it? Yeah, because for quincy it's easy. Ichigo casually blocks sero of Menos Grande and then sends it back to him? It's impossible, unless he just absorb it (like only quincy do) and then sends it back. And it explains a lot of moments when Ichigo learns something much faster than anyone. Other foreshadowings: in the anime we can actually hear that old man Zangetsu (his first appearance) called himself [Uha Baha] (Yhwach Bach), but we can only clearly hear the end of the name "...ha" due to sound distortion, anyway there is no "ha" at the end of "Zangetsu". Also in the manga his true name was just blacket out, but there was too much blacked out space for short (in Japanise language) name Zangetsu, but Yhwach also did not fit the blacked out space (It's just means that Kubo already did think of old man Zangetsu true name/identity, but still didn't come up with "Yhwach"). And i'm not even talking about how old man Zangetsu used quincy shadow technique in the Ichigo vs Kenpachi fight, and also how he stops Ichigo from bleeding by blut vene (it wasn't visually represented but it is how it works). And if someone still believes that it's all just a coincidences then just rewatch every moment of White Zangetsu (Hichigo) when he just screaming every time that he is Zangetsu or something like this. My favourite moment was in the manga, when we seeing White for first time and he smiling, but in the reflection on his sword he is sad, it's just says everything. And there was much-much more of all this stuff, so I'm really want to see your manga analysis, where you could share your opinion about the whole story of Bleach when you already know where it will lead
Very interesting, the idea of zangetsu being yuhabach came as quite a shock to be, but it's probably because it's been a while since I watched soul society and the anime not bring as clear. I will be sure to do a manga review in the future, because I'm bleach is one of those series that earns everything and doesn't have any cheap events that happen really interested to see how the rest of TYBW plays out
For the 1st time when i saw ichigos white clothes wrapped around the handle of his sword i thought he can swing his sword by grabing that cloth and use it for mid range battel but he use it to wrap his blade. But in the zangetsu Realm the white really does it 😳 And i was saying ichigo man he knows better way or 😈 i should say proper way to use your sword😈 I was like wow old man is ICHIGOS zanpaktu and white use it like its his own property 🤣 And btw at that time i didnt knew that only zanpoktu spirits knows the proper way to use zanpokto even better then the zapoktu holder
@@indifference115 and btw i didn't mean like you missed something and everything was obvious. It was BUT EVERYONE MISSED IT just because Tite Kubo is a genius
@@Nik-xh8gt btw u can see in manga panels that ywach name is covered by ink because of... ichibei, i was so surprised when i saw a video talking abt it Tite really was already thinking about all of this so early into bleach.
As a manga reader let me tell you the reality (after reading many of the opinions here): Manga readers = they want the anime like og bleach (slow pacing to build up and fights across more than 1 ep) = TYBW "too fast paced because fights last 1 ep" = anime not so good Anime watchers (based off IMDB, Aniwatch, MAL ratings): PEAK ANIME! PEAK FICTION! Bleach is now my favorite of the big3! What?! The episode was 2 mins give me MOOOOREEEE! i cant wait for next week! So as a manga reader what do I THINK? I think the fast pacing is what elevated bleach. People domt have the attention span to sit through slow paced episodes anymore. Look at vinland saga s2. Every week i saw anime onlys complaining "its boooring! Disappointed! Where are the fights!?" Etc and thats one reason why it barely was being talked about every week it aired. Only the last few episodes were talked about because the buildup finally paid off. Also gear5. Gear5 hype died because toei ruined the fight with slow pacing as usual with flashbacks and cuts in between. Ep1071 was talked about then ep1072 but 1073 fell off immediately despite the battle continuing. The funny part is while bleach manga readers were complaining about TYBW ep20, OP fans (biggest fan on twitter geo said this btw) PRAISED IT and said its > than their ep1073 with gear5 fight continuing. I dont want bleach to seem boring to new gen anime watchers and fall from the spotlight. so i could care less about what manga readers think, as long as anime watchers are loving it thats what im proud of!
Yes thanks for being a reasonable person, I loved this anime and the pacing may be feel a little fast but it really isn't, I appreciated the switch up into a series that flow wells consistent going from one thing to another, i will also never understand what wrongs with the dub, I thinks its an incredible dub one of the best out with very talented and unique voices.
Gear 5 especially was a huge disappontment. Just look at the episode luffy awakened it. They literally replayed the whole scene of luffy jumping and spinning around 2 or 3 times. When i watched it i had to ask why the hell do they repeat this again?
Their are just so many things I like love about this arc. Speaking of the voice actors while some of them have aged and others are replaced once this arc gets going they do a amazing job. I really felt Johnny rage as Ichigo when he asked if yahwach destroyed the soul society. I also really love Byakuya plea as he begs ichigo to defend the soul society what a great scene all around. I also really love all the little details like one of the reasons they can't steal ichigo bankai due to ichigo being part hollow which we find out in this part with ichigo mom is like poison to quincies. This arc also completes the arc ichigo has been going on as he learns more about himself. Ichigo as a hybrid of human, quincy, soulreaper, and hollow often has to confront a aspects of each society. It's through his battle in the soul society he learns more about the soulreapers and changes them for the better when he saves Rukia,it's through his battle with the Arrcancars like against Grimmjow and Ulquirora he understand the nature of hollows,in the fullbring he fully comes into his own and realizes how much being a soulreaper meant to him fully embracing his role as a substitute soulreapers and protector, and finally in this arc Ichigo embraces all sides of himself after learning about the truth of his orgins. I also loved learning more about hollow ichigo or as he appeared in the flashback dubbed White. Despite us the audience thinking he was just nothing more then a demon who sought ichigo body but when you look all throughout the series this hollow has done more to help Ichigo then nothing eles. He saved ichigo numerous times in the soul society saving ichigo from critical wounds like the ones delivered be Renji or Kenpachi,Even though he came back as a pure monster he did save ichigo from ulquirora. If not for White ichigo would be dead. As for Zangetsu while at first he did think about killing ichigo he also started to want to see him grow and help him with him finally leaving saying he couldn't be more proud. Ichigo saying their both him brings a end to both their character arcs as Ichigo has now accepted all parts of himself being fully whole. As for the quincies they come across as a overwhelming force and are utterly ruthless sometimes even to each other. They feel like a level above all previous threats as they completely take everyone off guard. Speaking of the quincies the first invasion you could argue the soulreapers were in the right to defend themselves but I will say it is somewhere unjustified that the soulreapers committeed genocide on the ones in the world of the living that had nothing to do with yahwach with it being a extremely gray action on the soulreapers but come this Second invasion the quincies do indeed become in the wrong again. Some Quincies talk about how their oh so superior to soulreapers and hollows but at the end of the day their just as flawed as either group. It's say what you will about the Arrcacars from the previous arcs but some of them fought with way more honor the quincies taking on the soulreapers fair and square and not resorting to tricks like stealing the enemies transformation. Though it does convey the point they will literally do anything to win. Finally Yamamoto I love how his character changed over time. He was once a ruthless man who didn't care about anyone and the original captains only followed him since he would have killed them if he didn't but overtime he changed he gained people he wanted to protect, people he learned to care about, and had more to live for then just destruction. Even meeting Ichigo further changed him as he learned to be less stubborn as he literally help ichigo gain his powers back. It makes his death all the sadder as right when he was changing for the better he dies. Yahwach also kills him in the most disrespectful way possible as well. I guess this comment has lasted long enough theirs just so much to talk about. Overall this is a great start especially as a massive bleach fans who's been following the series since I was six having watched all the original anime and the movies. BTW the best bleach movies are memories of nobody and hellverse.
I loved that journey of self discovery for ichigo throughout bleach its a very interesting and emotional story, they really capture his struggle with understanding and coming to terms with himself. And while his combination of powers makes him seem like just an op character, ichigo earns everything every step of the way there was no cutting corners, the hints about yuhabach and white were great for the series. And I did feel like as the series went on the voice acting got better and it was less noticeable. I'm excited for cour 2 after I give myself some a bit of a bleach break
@indifference115 theirs just so many interesting and exciting things going on in this arc. With so many great fights in part 1 alone. Ichigo vs yahwach,Byakuya vs Asnot,Yamamoto vs Yahwach, and Ichigo vs yahwach. So many interesting moving pieces.
How many of our fallen brethren have passed to the soul society without seeing the end of the series all the new bankais we must enjoy it in their honour
as someone who read the manga up to the end of Fullbring arc, then waited for the TYBW, i can say wholeheartedly that the pacing felt exactly the way it did in the manga. as Tite Kubo is supervising the TYBW adaptation, he wants everything to be in his image, and that includes his own manga's pacing. i personally loved the faster pacing of the bleach manga, and so i certainly don't mind the pacing of the TYBW adaptation. 10 out of 10.
For me it was worth the wait, though I do realize now the part of Kubo where in that time period he was sick he had rushed a good portion of the story to get it done and over with. I still feel though that for what we got the updated animation is sooo darn clean.
Half, half. I miss some old animations like spiritual pressure and the fights are always only 1 episode. Yet Unohana or Gremmy are so strong. The good part is that we saw Shinjo bankai and the amazing quincies.😊
I think the fight being one episode isn't that bad as they are high octane and intense but I understand why someone would miss that, having spiritual pressure effect would be cool again but overall I think it's An amazing anime
I'd probably have to agree with you. It's still very good but yes it feels like the huge parts such as kenpachi and Gremmy that just didn't hit like it should have.
I'm haven't checked it out yet but I've heard it's pretty good, do you just mean it's not as intense as the first part which could be because the intensity and excitement of a bleach return I'd starting to wear off or it's lacklustre in general
@@indifference115 What I'd say is that the problem is that nothing major or shockin like in Part 1 happen. It becomes a basic shonen anime where the goal is to just defeat the bad guy. Part of the reason why this happened is that Kubo rushed the manga because of his health. I'm really hoping the anime adaptation fixes on that.
This second part is fine in my opinion. Its just the whole structure change of the anime is different. Usually bleach fights last a couple episodes and build up suspense until the battle finally ends. To me thats what gives bleach fights meaning. But now because the series as a whole is shorter, the fights r only one epsisode long and never build up the tension that I previously felt in bleach. The series as a whole is still good
Just discovered your channel. I've been a huge Bleach fan since 2014, and as a manga reader, this is my favorite arc of the series. I acknowledge the mistakes and errors in the original source, but I must admit, the anime team and Tite Kubo himself are doing their best to restructure and upgrade this material for the fans. Cour 2 might not possess the emotional factor that elevated Cour 1, but it lays the groundwork for what's to come in the future. As a friendly suggestion, keep an eye on Squad 0 and the Sternritter, especially the Schutzstaffel (elite Quincy guards). The power scaling in the next cours are set to reach levels unprecedented in this universe 🔥
Damn that's pretty cool, well the same was with yamamoto dub voice actor I'm pretty sure and chads voice actor didn't want to voice people of color before because he felt it was racist to do so
@@indifference115 It does say a lot about how much the cast loved working on Bleach that literally everyone who could return did a decade later. And hey; if Chad's VA had a reason for the dub then fair nuff.
Shii waiting 8yrs made it worth the wait. You get what you get and I’m grateful for what we got as fans. The pacing isn’t really a problem for me, the animation is beautiful, the anime exclusives really change the game too. The last episode for core 2 really just showed us what Kubo is really plotting for the next core and I can’t wait.
A great video that definitely deserves more views. This was my first anime and to this day is in my top 5 favourites, it makes me happy to see it have its well-deserved resurgence in popularity. Just got a question, what is the song that starts playing around 12:00?
Lore nerd here. About Masaki's death. It's not like Yhwach was choosing "not worthy quincies", rather "not pure". Katagiri was half-pure since she was born, that's why she died. And Masaki, originally a pure-blooded quincy, was mixed with hollow, making her not pure as well. And at the time of her encounter with grand fishe, she wasn't gonna sacrifice herself to begin with, but to use her Blut to block fisher's attack. and coincidentally, that was exactly the moment when Yhwach took her powers.
OK got you, I did however understand that misaki wasn't initially going to sacrifice herself until she realised she had lost her powers I'm sorry I didn't make that clear in the video.
as someone who's been waiting for this for over a decade yes it's worth it. I don't over analize every little detale of anime to find reasons to dislike it I just enjoy what I see
and I hope that didn't come off as rude I've just seen people overly criticize Bleach for YEARS for what feels like unfair reasons most of the time. I'm well aware that this arc in the manga ended horribly but I want to hope that Kubo being more in charge of the anime this time means that it'll turn out at least the way he ORIGINALLY intended it to go @@indifference115
The first arc was phenomenal, moments that had fans minds going crazy. This 2nd arc is only part of the middle, fights and hype moments for characters that really haven't had too many times to shine in comparison to the mc. This arc wasn't about Ichigo, but the other members and gives everyone love. The next arc will be a mixture of moments for everyone and ichigo, and the final arc NEEDS to stick the landing. The manga DID NOT because of the rushing, but now there is about 10/11 episodes worth of extra content being added, which means the final arc can be new and adapted exactly as it needs to be. I have hope, and faith, that with such juicy content coming out for both arcs, we are going to get what we deserve.
To me it was. I think before it was announced, we were ready to almost never get the TYBW at all or many more years later if at that I do see flaws but I’m glad I got anything
I think "anime wise" other than apparently scenes were removed but other scenes not in manga where added. I haven't read tybw but I'm interested to see where it goes
@@indifference115 serious question though I've seen her referred to as Harribel and Halibel so I'm confused, I usually just say shark tits and everyone knows who I'm talking about
16:42 We don’t talk that way about The Bounts. Just wait and see what they’ll do to the Quincies at the Soul King Palace. I mean even my homie Tsukishima returned for the Blood War.
I just finished the whole bleach series. I skipped all the fillers. I have to say thousand year blood war is really amazing. I didn’t expect it to be so good.
Dw it will get better when we hear aizen's voice again, Ichigo bankai, zaraki bankai, kyoraku bankai, urahara bankai, Inoue getting her chest split open by yoruichi, yoruichi shunko, tag team aizen and Ichigo Vs yhwahc, the elite guard, squad 0 in action, yhwach schrift, soul king yhwach, Ichigo horn of salvation, but vein, ichigo saying it is over, etc. Boy we got a lot more left once they get to soul king castle
This shit is amazing shows so much respect to TYBW. I read it week to week and it was very overhated especially towards the end. The ending has some of the greatest fights and character concepts from the entire series.
I said this way back when bleach was thought to be “cancelled” but the story needs a few additions and changes for it to be really worth it. But with Kubo working closely with the studio on this and Shinjis bankai being anime original and few others gives me ton of hope
I wish it got released as one whole batch so we can properly analyse the entire arc rather than individual seasons as some season focus on different elements but together they come into one whole story
The start was good, flashy, good drawn... and the initial attack on Seiretei was such a good start but then... it became so dumb... Yamamoto was showing off so much, like a schoolboy in the yard, "LOOK WHAT I CAN DO!" and showing more abilities in 1 episode than in entire Bleach series, it felt like creator of the character made up so much cool stuff for him but knew that this episode he must die so he spilled out ALL HES GOT just not to waist it... And each "new powers" from leutenants feel the same. "Look how good I've became!" - and 2 minutes later he is almost dead, saved by their new captains that also say "Look what new powers I have!" - 2 minutes later captains also half dead, saved by dudes that were trained in Shinigami king Castle. So much showing off and so little real fighting, tactics or anything. Unohana sacraficed her life to make Zaraki a real Kenpachi and he almost died for a dude that could imagine stuff... Yachiru showed her sword first time with her abilities to die from... cookie bones? And Shteinritters... omg... they are mostly such clowns... like they ran off from One Piece, their powers are sucked from finger. Mexican wrestler? Jar of brains that imagins meteors? Chubby Cupid? Emo dude that inflicts fear? Where did Yahve got all those buffoons for his Reich? The military organisation that honors power, purity of Quincy blood and stuff has such... soldiers? Total failures for 60% of all that Shteinritter had... And Ichigo was so hurry to get back to Seiretei to scream "ISIDA, ISIDA, ISIDA, ISIDA, ISIDA, ISIDA, ISIDA, ISIDA, ISIDA, ISIDA!" and then find the way to come back to Shinigami's King castle the next episode?! Bleach is getting dumber and dumber each new episode... The only two characters that I still adore are Urahara Kisuke and Kurotsuchi, they are cool as always.
I see what you mean but I still think it's an incredible adaptation, although you can't really help the source material that much if the fights are like that way.
10 Years? Well according to bleach yes with the story and yhwach's 10 years then yeah pretty accurate but ngl for what we got..... I would have waited another 5 years for what we got its such an amazing anime and it just became even better
Yeah I absolutely love it, I'm glad u agree, even In today's climate of good animation an anime this great should be heavily appreciated easily my favourite arc in bleach so far.
But I would say it is kinda sad that animation quality is dropping with all the new animes. I mean there’s for what I see less action and more action love comedy and those animation are more „kid friendly“ focused and I mean bleach was streamed on daylight and censored but the quality didn’t really dropped due to that. Thanks for your video anyway :D
I definitely agree with you on cour 1 absolute masterpiece. I haven't checked out cour 2, but I'm excited to see what it and other future cours have in store
Yes it is worth the wait. While they did remove some content, many were unnecessary and not intricate to the arc. Also The anime fixed so many things there were missing from the manga
Yes I have heard this same sentiment although I can't confirm it for myself the reception seems mostly positive and I appreciate the new content as it added context to scenes I didn't fully understand
Some scenes so far make it worth the wait. But I cannot wait for our three idiotic captains teaming up and fighting against Gerard. As well as Urahara's battle and Bankai reveal.
Showcase fights being blasted through in 10 minutes, panel-for-panel shots to be 'technically faithful' but without use of tension and even cutting content that would take 30 seconds to include. Abysmal directing decisions. Even extended fights feel rushed.
It's a bit of a mix for me. I definitely like the art style of the karakura town battle and the fullbringer arc more but don't really have a problem with this one. The one thing I wish they did was just spend a little more time on the big reveals and fights. In the arrancar arc fights felt like they could drag on for forever but in tybw they feel like they are trying to get to the next thing as fast as possible.
TYBW is amazing. The animation is perfect. I started Bleach when tybw was announced so I only wait 1 year after I finished the first 366 episode, but if someone said One Punch Man season 3 will release 10 years from now, but will be this good it absolutely worth the waiting. The pacing felt a bit too rushed in the begining, later I didn't feel that. 6 months is very long, but it we got this level of perfect anime adaptation, I think it worth it between parts.
I agree waiting for each part with the level of quality bleach is isn't to much of a burden. And I did feel like the pacing was fast early on Mainly because character didn't get a chance to slow down at all but it's also because bleach fans are so used to slow burning arcs that going from slow pacing to average/fast at times can feel like a huge jump
For me the hardest part or thing to get over with this arc is how they did the vizards. It’s shown that the vizards are the perfect counter to the quincies yet they still get treated like foddler. I think for this arc kubo should have rewrote some things about the arc
There are certainly aspects that don't make sense if the vizards are the counter then it would be odd for them to not have an advantage but iguess they don't want to make the quincys seem super weak at the same time. But I still think overall it's a great arc
@@indifference115 I think they could of gotten a chance to shine agaist the lesser to mid level but left the spot light to the main cast or had it so only those who had their banki stolen could beat the ones who stole it but that one aspect almost took me out the whole arc the art is nice but I need it to make sense
Yeah it kinda doubles as a recap and a review I don't like just recapping it was important to add my own thoughts and opinions on it, but I'm glad u enjoyed it
I didn’t know much about bleach before the announcement of tybw but I finished it within 2 weeks of the announcement and even read the manga till the hell arc and I absolutely loved it.
To be fair, Quincies attacked first because if they didn’t the Soul Reapers were going to wipe them out. And they were straught up following the orders of the Soul King to get revenge for what the Soul Reapers did to him. So, it was in fact still the Soul Reapers that started everything.
Is there a incident that took place before the first quincy invasion 1000 years ago? Just interested. Because to me it seemed like the quincies were the initial Aggressors
@@indifference115quincies cannot survive hollow bite, making them vurnable to hollows, so they must deatroy them. Soul reapers then wiped them out cause them wiping out hollows makes soul society collapse
i think this is one of the BEST anime adaptations, the animation is insane, the participation of the author on the production, the character designs and artstyle was amazing, sadly i think the story and pacing are really weird wich is not fault of the anime, but of the manga the whole bankai stealing plot leading to nowhere as they used them for one scene and then everyone got them back with some pills, i would say its a perfect adaptation to a good story, although i have my issues with it i still think bleach is great
I hate when people hate on the bount arc…. Ichigo’s fight with the bount leader is what got me to watch bleach in the first place if that arc can get people to want to watch the show then it deserves some respect
That may be the case for you buts I think your in the minority on that it's a bad arc. In every arc of bleach ever I'd say it the worst. The dialogue in ghost stories got me to watch it that doesn't equate to it being a good anime though
@@indifference115 I don’t mind being in the minority….. But had I never saw Ichigo vs kira I might’ve never watched it at all I only started watching cause of that fight and I’m not saying it’s the best arc not by a long shot but I am saying I’ll always love that arc cause that’s where bleach started for me
Ichigo is basically a Shinigami, Hallow, and Quincy so from my understanding Quincyes are basically allergic to hallows as Shinigami is allergic to Quincy which is why the first Quincy couldn’t steal ichigo bankai.
Those that are disappointed in part 2 we’ll blame Kubo. The anime is just retelling the manga. Many of us for years didn’t like the second half of the arc. But we’re glad it’s being animated.
I thinks that fair, but tybw anime from what I've heard add some much more context and explanation to what's going on, I never found the pacing bad the exact opposite exactly it does feel fast but I think that's a biproduct of how original bleach was paced and people expecting that from tybw, none the less I respect your opinion.
Still sad they didn't keep the peach joke in. Excited to see more anime exclusive scenes in cour 3 and what is going to happen with cour 4. If they keep the pace of cour 2 we're gonna be finished with TYBW at cour 3 which means can't fear your own world or hell arc for cour 4. Either way SUPER excited for it to continue along with burn the witch and it's amazing to see kubo remotivated to work on the worlds he's built over the years
I am aware of that light novel and tie into the hell arc. But as far as I'm aware ichigo isn't the main character of the light novel and hell arc hasn't had any new chapters since that teaser. So for now at least for me this arc is the finale to bleach and if that changes I am more than willing to watch it, I just felt like this arc was so much grander than anything we've had in bleach yet.
@A-0-K-GAMER oh that'll be good i excited to see how it turns out, I think I also remember tite kubo telling fans that he won't work on it until everybody stops asking for it. Or around that
When you will be watching second part please just watch As Nodt fight in Japanese, just in your free time, it's The BEST voice performance this year easily. Also was wondering if you plan to cover filler arcs in future videos, fillers right before Fullbringers arc are actually good and you will witness probably the best getsuga in the entire show
Yes I do intend of watching the fillers at some point just. A bit bleached out at the moment I will cover the main filler arcs in small 5-6 minute videos. Per filler, I always enjoy sub and dub performance so if your saying its good I'll be sure to check it out
i kind of wished that manga readers didnt ruined the manga. back in the days when kubo started making the tybw manga byuakuya was supposed to die by asnodt but fans send too many death threats and kubo had to revive him
Overall really good it was worth the wait, there were like 1 or 2 episodes I wasn't really vibeing with. But then the episodes that are good, are really really good and thats most of them.
@@indifference115 absolutely, I actually watched the previous season 4 times and this year's season looks really cool and I freakin" love watching it in dubded.
Yes I really enjoyed how they are working alongside tite kubo to ensure that he sees his vision of bleach through.
@@sytrostormlord3275 yes I'm very excited to see how tybw plays out
A complaint a lot of viewers/readers would share is the Byakuya fake out death.
@@WieldMyWord I think death threats would most definitely influence a mangaka
@@exodus9669 Has there ever been a case where a mangaka has died because a fan went full Yandere because they killed off or did a character dirty? Its basically empty words which most of these Mangaka understands, and the media wants to milk drama for clicks and viewers. Yeah I agree I haven't read the manga for bleach but it feels like it's been told more cohesively which is a big criticism of tybw apparently
@@indifference115Nobody is complaining about the tybw
@derekpennington2858 I have seen a lot of complaining, just check out some other comment there are a lot of different thought on tybw,
@@indifference115 In comparison the anime is more logically and better executed in most places compared to the manga, where events of things is more natural and has a consistent tone, but its 50/50 some places where the anime explains more than we got in the manga and other places the manga expands on certain areas.
Most of the criticisms are from the third part part of TYBW which wasn’t the best because Kubo was sick and had to rush the finale
It was way above my expectations. Animation, Plot, Characters EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING was perfect.

I will be sure to do a manga review in the future, because I'm bleach is one of those series that earns everything and doesn't have any cheap events that happen really interested to see how the rest of TYBW plays out
For the 1st time when i saw ichigos white clothes wrapped around the handle of his sword
i thought he can swing his sword by grabing that cloth and use it for mid range battel but he use it to wrap his blade.
But in the zangetsu Realm the white really does it 😳
And i was saying ichigo man he knows better way or 😈 i should say proper way to use your sword😈
I was like wow old man is ICHIGOS zanpaktu and white use it like its his own property 🤣
And btw at that time i didnt knew that only zanpoktu spirits knows the proper way to use zanpokto even better then the zapoktu holder
@@indifference115 and btw i didn't mean like you missed something and everything was obvious. It was BUT EVERYONE MISSED IT just because Tite Kubo is a genius
@Nik-xh8gt yeah I didn't think that at all, it just something I found very intriguing
@@Nik-xh8gt btw u can see in manga panels that ywach name is covered by ink because of... ichibei, i was so surprised when i saw a video talking abt it Tite really was already thinking about all of this so early into bleach.
As a manga reader let me tell you the reality (after reading many of the opinions here):
Manga readers = they want the anime like og bleach (slow pacing to build up and fights across more than 1 ep) = TYBW "too fast paced because fights last 1 ep" = anime not so good
Anime watchers (based off IMDB, Aniwatch, MAL ratings): PEAK ANIME!
@@indifference115 the bleach dub is actually received well, only few VAs sound off but most is great.
Gear 5 especially was a huge disappontment. Just look at the episode luffy awakened it. They literally replayed the whole scene of luffy jumping and spinning around 2 or 3 times. When i watched it i had to ask why the hell do they repeat this again?
@@stryperwolf1723 bingo!
So many interesting moving pieces.

as someone who read the manga up to the end of Fullbring arc, then waited for the TYBW, i can say wholeheartedly that the pacing felt exactly the way it did in the manga. as Tite Kubo is supervising the TYBW adaptation, he wants everything to be in his image, and that includes his own manga's pacing. i personally loved the faster pacing of the bleach manga, and so i certainly don't mind the pacing of the TYBW adaptation. 10 out of 10.
I agree the pacing is faster but it doesn't ruin the experience of the anime
For me it was worth the wait, though I do realize now the part of Kubo where in that time period he was sick he had rushed a good portion of the story to get it done and over with. I still feel though that for what we got the updated animation is sooo darn clean.
Yes the animation is great and having kubo be there for the anime is such a great thing to
@@indifference115 Well yes, it's still an invasion. This always has to be fast. But this really is a full quincy arc without the pressure animation.

Its crazy how ichigo is one if the only shonen charectors with a dad not 1, 3 my man is a group project
Yeah that is crazy to think about
Actually i am a bit disappointed by second part of the arc. It's still very good, but in comparison.. first one was literally shocking
The series as a whole is still good
@@noahtalley9060 that's a damn good explanation actually, I agree 100%

Lore nerd here. About Masaki's death. It's not like Yhwach was choosing "not worthy quincies", rather "not pure". Katagiri was half-pure since she was born, that's why she died. And Masaki, originally a pure-blooded quincy, was mixed with hollow, making her not pure as well. And at the time of her encounter with grand fishe, she wasn't gonna sacrifice herself to begin with, but to use her Blut to block fisher's attack. and coincidentally, that was exactly the moment when Yhwach took her powers.

This should have been fully released imo. Killed the hype
You must be stupid then
As Nodt being animated was everything I wanted tbh
It is such a good adaptation
Dude, IDK who you are but really enjoyed your video. I am sold and subscribed! Keep it up!
Hey man, glad to hear you liked it i appreciate the support
10 Years?
Well according to bleach yes with the story and yhwach's 10 years then yeah pretty accurate
but ngl for what we got.....
Cour 1 was so emotional cour 2 was all hype
Now lets see what cour 3 got
Bleach is goated
And tybw is masterpiece start to finish in cour 1 and 2
I definitely agree with you on cour 1 absolute masterpiece.
That sounds Hype af, I can't wait to see that.
@@indifference115 With animation this season ... It's going to be great!
Showcase fights being blasted through in 10 minutes, panel-for-panel shots to be 'technically faithful' but without use of tension and even cutting content that would take 30 seconds to include. Abysmal directing decisions. Even extended fights feel rushed.
I would disagree I didn't enjoy some of the fight being dropped out in og bleach
Also what the fuck were those goofy ass stock sound effects they gave Giselles skeletons
It would be nice if they gave the fights more of a introduction and stage presence but I don't think there bad
@@senioradahugdont lie
Good job on the vid bud, you nailed it on the head!!!
Thank you I'm glad to know you enjoyed.
love the vid but the way you pronounced Quilge killed me💀
Bro I'm so sorry if pronunciation wad a subject I'd get a f. I suck at it
I paused the video at 0:03 just to give my answer. YES, IT"S BEEN WORTH.
Hey I'm glad you agree
Bleach is a Huge W man fr
Glad you agree I loved tybw cour 1
waiting 2 weeks for an episode is also worth it.
With the level of quality bleach is delivery I agree
I mean yes but moment of silence for those who died before getting to see the second coming
That such a sad thing to think about, man. Bleach really made some people wait too long.
Very Nice Video good recap
Yeah it kinda doubles as a recap and a review I don't like just recapping it was important to add my own thoughts and opinions on it, but I'm glad u enjoyed it
I just started watching bleach about 2 weeks ago and I’m caught up
Nice work, bleach is amazing glad you grinded it out so quickly 👍
@@indifference115 The only reason why I got a B instead of an A in AP Gov was because I binged anime instead of studying
I didn’t know much about bleach before the announcement of tybw but I finished it within 2 weeks of the announcement and even read the manga till the hell arc and I absolutely loved it.
Nice glad you enjoyed it, it really Is a stellar anime
"Killing him instantly"
"He decided he is still alive"
Hilarious
I mean he it felt like it for sure
Short answer, Yes!
I'd have to agree with you on that
To be fair, Quincies attacked first because if they didn’t the Soul Reapers were going to wipe them out.
Ima answer for the bleach fans it’s YES!
Non fans they want to say no but it’s too EPIC so it’s like 50/50 lol
There's no denying that it is the best anime out right, very well done I'm glad it got the appreciation and dedication it deserves.
@@indifference115 well said 🤝🏽
I don't care what anybody says the dub of bleach is and always will be the way i watch it because i grew up watching it on adult swim
Yeah it's a very good dub that's gets a bad wrap.
@indifference115 yea it I have no idea why people hate it in when it has the best voice actors especially Johnny Young Bosch
i think this is one of the BEST anime adaptations, the animation is insane, the participation of the author on the production, the character designs and artstyle was amazing, sadly i think the story and pacing are really weird wich is not fault of the anime, but of the manga the whole bankai stealing plot leading to nowhere as they used them for one scene and then everyone got them back with some pills, i would say its a perfect adaptation to a good story, although i have my issues with it i still think bleach is great
I agree, this is a great adaptation so far barely any complaints
Oh that's pretty interesting ichigo is a bit of a wild card considering how everything works
Short answer: absolutely fucking yes
Yes it is, an absolute masterpiece
Will you be doing a video on part 2?
Yes I do plan to do a video for part 2
The hollow Ichigo's Parents kill.
That's literally the same design of his hollow form.
Yes I did notice that I thought it was a great detail to add
1:44 I love the Dub of Bleach 🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿
I hope that means that's good idk emojis too well 😅. I'd so glad you agree!
Is part 2 fully out in dubbed yet?? Cause if not man it gets insane
I don't think it is yet but I'm excited to check it out
Those that are disappointed in part 2 we’ll blame Kubo. The anime is just retelling the manga. Many of us for years didn’t like the second half of the arc. But we’re glad it’s being animated.
Yeah as an anime I think it's done an amazing job with the source material
Honestly 50/50 imo, some new scenes are nice but pacing is a bit weird and some new scenes ruined some moments for me.
Imma shorten this 20 min video and just answer your question, yes it was worth it.
Absolutely Yes
Simple Answer:
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!
I 100% agree with you
Story wise cour 1 is better in terms of plot revolutions and for shadowing pay off while cour 2 is a fill in for part 3 and 4.
I'm very excited to see how it all pans out
Without a doubt , i was scared a litlle becaue i remember how bored i was reading the manga , but they improved it in anime quite a bit
Glad you liked it
Byakuya was supposed to die, but fan favoriete and death threats brought him back
Yeah it did seem like he was supposed to die there
[1:38] Bleach Dub Is fukken GOAT damnn it 🔥🗿🔥
Agreed
@@indifference115 btw sorry sir i have to tell u that cour2 Dub was bit off then cour1 🥹
& it the truth🥲
Still sad they didn't keep the peach joke in. Excited to see more anime exclusive scenes in cour 3 and what is going to happen with cour 4. If they keep the pace of cour 2 we're gonna be finished with TYBW at cour 3 which means can't fear your own world or hell arc for cour 4. Either way SUPER excited for it to continue along with burn the witch and it's amazing to see kubo remotivated to work on the worlds he's built over the years
Yeah I'm looking forward to how bleach goes, hope you enjoyed the video alos what is the peach joke?
@@indifference115there is scene in manga where rukia floats in blood pond hell and her ass sticks out
Saw a leak on reddit mentioning news about the hell arc when cour 3 is here. If its true or not i dont know.
I heard news about it but that was in regards to it getting a colourised chapter for the one shot don't know anything else
@@indifference115 Thats know already since that coloured chapter is released a few days ago. Im talking about something new.
Yeah, this isn’t the final season. There was a light novel sequel, and a one shot which ties in to the hell arc.
@@indifference115 are you sure about that?
@A-0-K-GAMER what is hell arc getting a new chapter if so.. I'm glad
@@indifference115 kubo says if the thousand year blood war arc does well you’re right the hell ark
Per filler, I always enjoy sub and dub performance so if your saying its good I'll be sure to check it out
i kind of wished that manga readers didnt ruined the manga. back in the days when kubo started making the tybw manga byuakuya was supposed to die by asnodt but fans send too many death threats and kubo had to revive him
Damn if those rumours are true that's rough because that byakuya death would've hit real hard
Cour 2 is weak, but I’m sure Cour 3 and 4 will give us Anime exclusive scenes.
I really enjoy the anime exclusive scenes
Overall really good it was worth the wait, there were like 1 or 2 episodes I wasn't really vibeing with. But then the episodes that are good, are really really good and thats most of them.
That's good to hear, not every episode has to be a masterpiece, but I'm glad you enjoyed the anime the same as me
