Yeah I'm also of the opinion that thematically, Blood Vengeance and Blood Surge blesses shouldn't be available to inanimate units, because they lack blood, and it'd be a good mechanical answer. Note this wouldn't be the Undead tag... So like Ermor Lictors could have blood vengeance, but not Tomb Wyrms.
I think LA Ctis shows more the problem with the bless system than the nation itself. Some blesses synergy too well and shouldn't be allowed to be used together. Personally, I would make a new category of incarnate bless where they are "unique" so you can have only one of them, like BV, regen, fear, fort, shock w, quick, etc. That way you would curved the super hellbless heavy nations while leaving alone the normal nations.
I mean... I wish we still had dom 5's bless system, but I think I've said that before. It is very weird in that its mostly worse but in specific cases can just be game breaking.
I have thought about making big blesses cheaper but require positive scales. Would make it harder to take fort (needing prod) and also bv (needing magic?) Or something like that.

I think blesses are great and amazing, but the amount of customization blesses have to stack not cool things like the OG incarnate blessings, but have just become a pool for +attack and resists on your sacreds have made sacreds more and more central.
While the bless combined with recruit able reanimators is what makes LA C'tis so incredibly strong being able to make an ever increasing amount of sacreds every turn is a strong mechanic in and of itself. The two other reanimation nations with sacreds that come to mind are MA Ermor who get 23 death gem arch bishops to make Lictors and MA Nazca who gets Royal Mallqui who reanimate Supaya's. They also get a 10 gem item to get 1 more from priest reanimation and 2 more from spells but the biggest difference is that Royal Mallqui are 1200 gold and 2 cp without a citadel or a 425 gold inca/455 gold coya which are 4 cp that you then have to kill off as compared to a 155 gold keeper of the tombs for 2 cp while you have a citadel. So you can always no matter your scales just put 2 of them on repeat recruitment and forget it but doing the same with the alternatives requires that you be rich.
I get what you're saying, I just don't want LA Ctis to lose its one unique advantage and go back to the bottom of the barrel for another edition of the game.
Its a tough thing to balance how many you get and when in 5 they were just bad because you needed gems to get re animators in the age with the lowest site frequency.
Something I'll say is I agree with the opinions on LA pyrene. They really boiled out all the fun parts of the nation just to make them blood glam and that's it. Its just another cav spam nation sadly :/
Please get a grip on episode numbering Last was episode 3.5.1 now its still Episode 3 but 6.2 .... Either the last number has a meaning and we somehow skipped 6.1 or its a typo or im completely lost 😂 Its just super confusing to come back to 😅
Its kind of a joke about how my episode folders, da vinci files, and youtube vids are all on different episode numbers, and I don't have a real plan to fix it.
LA CTIS is broken, all you need is awake dragon with undead regen and BV. That will roll any lobby not smart enough to kill them by turn 20. Your making about a 100 snakes a turn by that time. GL stopping that production without SC:S geared to turn timer.
Addendum: The snakes are also a great unit; 15 base attack high dmg, exeptional moral and hp. Compare them with a greatswordsman from LA Ulm and you will quickly realize normal troops dont stand a chance. Even crossbowmen die to simply BV/regen. WHY DO THEY HAVE 40+ HP. ARE THEY DRAGONSPAWN? WTH WERE THEY THINKING?
