I just watched your video about the making of your vampire ball gown, and i was so incredibly impressed. You’re officially one of my favorite cosplayers now that i have also looked at many of your others like your hazbin hotel cosplays!! I really hope i’ll get to be a cosplayer as skilled as you one day!!! ☺️
Yeah, I know that feeling of wishing you had a bigger space. I'm a digital comic artist and I work in effectively my living room. What I'd love is a large office space where I can have a massive bookshelf behind me with all the stories and comics I could ever need for inspiration. XD
Thankyou for a glimpse into the organised chaos you fight through. Love the way that it brought to light some things you obviously needed for further projects and your glasses. Great new work bench and chair. Excellent video.
I find it so fascinating to see tours of other people's creative spaces, regardless of the profession. You always find some neat idea or gadget that you can apply to your own maker space that you would otherwise never have known or thought about.
Good job on making the most of a limited amount of space, and I love how the room itself is on-theme. Getting everything organized and squared away in a workshop is one thing... keeping it that way is the hard part (don't ask me how I know). 😊 All those labels and see-through boxes will help.
I love these kind of tours through. It gives such an insight into the chaotic yet organised manner one may have. It can be hard to make smaller spaces work for some things, like physically large projects. But you've really used that small space so well.
Hello from a fellow Aussie! 👋🏻 I've just recently got back into sewing after about 20yrs, and you helped motivate me to do this 🥰🙏🏻 so thank you! Currently made 2 out of 4 costumes for up coming Halloween / birthday/ Supanova. So excited! 😁😁
Love seeing someone else who uses the box storage shelves like I do! I def have a huge wall of these square boxes too. I also recommend finding a blue/print storage cart for your eva foam, worbola and other tubes of stuff. Really helps keep it visible and organized if you have the space. Great vid! I love seeing all the crazy you create!
Im so glad we could see ur room tour ( plus more ofc)!!! Hope ur having a good day (including everyone reading the comments- but you should be watching the vid)
I'm glad we get to see your creative space. I know the vast majority of the other commenters have already said it, but I do enjoy seeing a Creators creative space, especially a creator as fantastical as yourself. I do hope you get that giant room you want at some point, you absolutely deserve it. Edit; I just so happened to be slurping down some water when you said to, so that's something. I'd also like to recommend a Cosplay for the future. I think you'd look awesome as Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower from the game Bloodborne or Areal from Legacy of Kain.
I do a Medieval Faire in Norman Oklahoma and I am trying to get as organized as you are for my work! Thanks for all of your amazingly awesome suggestions! I will definitely be revisiting for more ideas. 🎉
I’m glad I’m not the only crafter that hoards stuff, and puts things in labeled bins to organize it… working on my craft room. It definitely takes time.
The way you managed your space is so clever. Painting the cubes was a great idea : on camera, it looks almost wood-like. I’d the say the one thing you could do is hot glue some fake ivy or moss to the bit of tape you used to maintain the curtain road near the ceiling. Like, just anything that stick out : fake moss and hot glue. Easy to add, and quick to remove if need be. But you absolutely need, someday, to get a place big enough for you to have display cases, museum style, for your creations.
Yes! A fellow toilet-paper-as-tiny-paper-towel user. I have a TP dispenser inside the pantry now and I've reduced paper towel usage to less than a roll per year, since most spills are small drips and such.
Showing off your curtain rod set up makes me love you. Not in the creepy internet way, but in the artist to artist way. So many things in our shop are rigged to work like that. You are amazing!!!
I'm always jealous, when I see studios from other Artists as big as my whole flat, with tons of space for their machines and stuff.... but I have much more fun to watch your multifunctional-studio-tour! It's a 5-in-1-room on only 6 squaremeters! Your working and filming area, an athmospheric background inclusive another hidden background (an easy, very clever solution!), a place for the technical (and games-playing) side and at last a lot of space for your working stuff- just colored with Acrylics, it can be so easy to make something cosy! But the thing, I like most, is really your little outdoor-room! I'm glad about my big balcony, but it's too far away from my working desk! Thanks for showing us the place, where the magic happens! Send you love from Hamburg/ Germany 💖
I'm always crazy jealous of those kind of artists too! A friend of mine sews just for a hobby and her sewing room is twice the size of this one!! Hopefully one day both of us will have nice big spaces, but it's definitely fun to think of clever ways to get the most out of the space!
It always astounds me how you managed to even win the lottery on a mystical look to your human bod, like those ears, teeth, facial structure. It's awesome, you're awesome, keep being magical ✨️ Edit: to clarify, you're beautiful in the most mystical way, you already seem as if you came from the fae realm on the regular
Hey, I'm always down for a grand room tour! Brings some variety to your content and it just feels that little more magical, mostly thanks to you being the guide 😊 I will also admit that after seeing Juniper's video, my curiosity peaked for the whole room shebang so thank you Charlotte for making this right afterwards! Stay twisted 💙💗🦉
LoL I have a room’s worth of yarns, 1 bin of dyes. Fyi dyeing some speckled yarn for the wrap that should be done next winter, I know Australia’s seasons are opposite of mine but least that gives me time to dye & work on stuff. 😸
Your absolutely adorable but this video absolutely has the most chaotic goblin vibe ever lol I love your cosplays especially juniper but your hair is also awesome too
the huskerdust art!!!!!!! your room is SO amazing and unique and pretty! i wish i could make all my little collectible random $5 found it on the street trinkets look that cool 🤩
For organising your trim I would recommend little decorative clips or just the ones you already use for sewing. It keeps them folded, it's easy to get out without damaging the textile and you have a better overview
I agree with you. Toilet paper is the best (and cheapest) all-purpose cleaning supply around and keeping your sharps separate is a very smart idea. I'm a minutiae/junk collector, and I loved the tour. Don't worry, you're just as bad as every other maker I've ever met. Love the window workspace idea. Good thinking👍
the fourth owl mug you hold up!! i have that exact mug!!! also i love seeing your craft room and how it's all organised - it's so clear you've thought about what you need to be able to easily grab and store when working on things and you've taken the time to make the room work for you, it's awesome! the table outside the window especially is so cool - yeah you could go outside to paint things and use contact cement, but that's an extra step that, for me at least, absolutely gets in the way of the process and makes it easier to put off doing it until it's too late. having the capability to do those tasks Right There is so useful in keeping the flow of crafting going!! i can't remember if you've mentioned if you have adhd or not but even if you don't, this entire room is very adhd friendly in that it works for you and keeps *your* creative momentum going and lets you do it easily all the time! also the aesthetic of it all is just *chefs kiss* - im a big fan of all the owls everywhere ^^
Yeah you totally get it! That flow and momentum is a huge help. I don't know if I have ADHD but I've suspected I might be on the autism spectrum. But diagnosis costs too much here and ive worked out the best ways to live for my brain anyway. I can definitely see how a space like this would help! Keeping everything accessible quickly so I'm not breaking my rhythm as well as making sure the space is inviting to be in!
I love seeing your world. You really have made a nice esthetic for your backgrounds, and I can relate to just through ing things in boxes 😂 the crafter life is real
I love the room! No need to justify your crafting hoard! I live in the Midwestern US and grew up with my mother having a sewing room crammed with material, as well as aunts that had knitting rooms so filled with yarn it wasn’t easy to move in them. If you’re a maker, physical or digital, and you aren’t hoarding materials then either you live in a closet (some do) or there’s something else not quite right. Makers often hoard. It just happens. ;-)
To date, I have made almost 3000 pairs of wings for festivals, weddings, Stage shows, TV, movies, and parties since 2008. That is a lot of wings, I do enjoy watching other creative people making them too.
The "here, you can make something out of this," donation hoard is real. I have a whole room full of giant totes I need to sort through just from my sister thinking I can repurpose all of her old clothes and shoes. Then there's the old SCA stuff from my parents (OG from the 70s-90s heavy combat armor and wooden shield frames) that have taken over half the kitchen. Two of my mannequins will be dedicated to my Mom's and Dad's armor. Then there are the old store mannequins my sister thought I should have, and the makeup I've had since early 2000s that were samples from my ex's mom's stash, the props from an old LARP org I would decorate for (and they never took it all back) ... I wish I had the energy to organize it all LOL!
Not a cosplayer, but looking into start organizing my sewing shenanigans and this is super helpful. Being able to see the sorts of things you have on your filming shelves is giving me ideas for decorating my own space! Also your hair, voice and accent have me swooning (sorry not sorry) Edit: this is my first full form video I've watched of yours and I have discovered you are just as much of a crow/magpie as me and this pleases me.
usually I'm not a fan of cube shelves but yours are giving serious giant apothecary cabinet and I think i will repaint mine too to have them match the rest of my room
I live the look of your apothecary shelf with all the various lights! I'm not sure how you plugged in all the various lighting sources, but an idea is to plug them all onto one power strip, then plug that power strip onto a smart home switch. That way you can turn the entire set up on and off with voice commands!
that's honestly a great idea! Right now, they're all pretty much battery powered. This is because the house we're renting is quite old so doesn't have lots of wall outlets for power, so I've got a lot already taken with my PC and lava lamp and bunch of lights and laptop!
OMG, I would lose my mind if I got one of those tiny potion bottle/charms. Those are the coolest. I've got a bunch of those little bottles and some glow-in-the-dark crystals I can try to make some of my own.
I enjoyed every second of this. You are such an interesting woman and ENTERTAINER. I find it all so facinating. My art room is very simular in scale. Love the Super relaxed state that back cabnet is in!
We've an interesting shop chain in the States. Habitat For Humanity. They receive donations similar to Goodwill, but they also receive construction materials. Anything from floor tile, to sinks and doorknobs, to paint. My local one gets upholstery leather from an aircraft manufacturer for the tax write-off. I got roughly a full hide in a dyeable light grey for about $40.
As someone who has only been crafting for a year or two, i really hope someday my craft room can evolve into something as chaotically organised as your one! My one is always a mess, with bags of scrap fabric and bedsheets from Facebook and a giant sewing/ knitting/crochet box that i inherited from somebody's grandma, also from Facebook.
I wish you all the success possible. I think your vision and skill easily make up for a less than ideal workspace. It probably takes up more time though. One day at a time!
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a bit jealous of your creation work space. I hope to get working on that soon for myself too. I unfortunately live with a hoarder and am about to get to the point I would rather ask for forgiveness than permission with some things. Awesome tour! Thanks for the little view into your space in which you bring all your wonderful craziness to life.
Sheesh, I was getting a little worried that all your crafting supplies fit in that tiny room you were showing in the beginning and I was starting to question my own hoarding problems 😂 But luckily you have many more places full of stuff, so that makes me feel better about myself hahah ♥ Wishing you an awesome, big crafting space in the future!! (every crafter's dream ♥)
You're a girl after my own heart. I ended up getting a truckload of fabric 1 day from a customer of mine at when I worked at Joann's for free. Every kind of fabric you, can I hang on to every little thing?❤❤
Seeing your workspace setup scratches the "Aesthetic And Functional Workspace" itch SO BADLY. Honestly it's the dream to have a space I can work in that looks half as good, but I hoard art supplies like you hoard crafting materials so I can't judge 🤣
Miss Twisted, I was just looking at your video about making the ultimate fawn legs. You were having trouble with the green paint for the hooves. I build remote control airplanes and I use latex paint. I get latex paint samples of colors in military colors, but if it's not a match, they can mix it for you until it is. It costs about $5.98 for an 8oz sample and it will last a long time before it runs out. It comes gloss, semi gloss and flat. I'm here in the U.S. I don't know what it costs in you are. I don't know if this helps you.
First, I can't believe that it took me this long to come across your page. SUBSCRIBED! Second, I just purchased a standing desk and chair which I hate. The chair is too tall due to the base for the wheels. I can't go any lower even with the level on the side. I guess that they did not think about those of us that are height challenged. The metal part of my desk only came in white. I checked out your links and this company has the metal in BLACK!
I am getting ready to sort and purge my hobby, cosplay, prop building mess...I mean room. We are building a hobby shack that will have space for all the wood tools and all my airbrush, sewing and other hobby things and out BIG outdoor props for Samhain and Yule!
Crafting room looking cute, love all the decor on the shelves! And a mandatory but a brief Finnish grimace at the word kantele being pronounced in such a way. Look how they massacred my boy!

@@rwdnaxelvallamil3271 I can't say that I have! I think she's relatively androgynous looking so a male version would probably look quite similar!

:O I'ma steal that contacted cardboard idea....behind my chair is a big bookshelf and the boxes above are always in frame
You're a girl after my own heart. I ended up getting a truckload of fabric 1 day from a customer of mine at when I worked at Joann's for free. Every kind of fabric you, can I hang on to every little thing?❤❤
Love the E7. My wife has the same standing desk in her home office.
As someone who always seems to move furniture by themselves, I felt that hand smash 😣
Yippee another video
this is just amazing like i really want to become a cosplayer now
but my mum may not be to happy with that
Seeing your workspace setup scratches the "Aesthetic And Functional Workspace" itch SO BADLY. Honestly it's the dream to have a space I can work in that looks half as good, but I hoard art supplies like you hoard crafting materials so I can't judge 🤣
GIRL I JUST WATCHED UR VID I LOVE IT
Nice. Chillaxd and real. Go Famm
oh to be given a tiny glass bottle charm by the beautiful juniper 🥹💖 that’s really cute, i’m obsessed with that idea
I from brazilllll and i love is videos 😁😁😁
i love your stuff so much im making my own cosplay
Your fabric stash is nothing compared to my yarn stash! I think you're doing fine!
Did see Juniper's headpiece? I was looking for it.
Sending love❤
That is amazing
Crafting room looking cute, love all the decor on the shelves!
And a mandatory but a brief Finnish grimace at the word kantele being pronounced in such a way. Look how they massacred my boy!
Hahaha I'm sorry for the pronunciation!
