Thanks Owen! You make incredible videos. You are very busy with your career and personal life. Yet, you still make time to mentor those young kids who are interested in being a pilot. I highly respect you for making time for those kids! You sir are the real deal.
Owen, I much more like your channel and video’s more than your friends channel who are always talking about how much they are spending. You are a much more humble guy. Cheers!
I was doing CAD design work on the G-IV back in 85. It was my second job in my aerospace career. I enjoyed working there. Chrysler had bought the company and Lee Iacocca came and gave a speech. We chatted after the speech. They were way ahead of Boeing for their glass cockpits. The interiors were amazing. I am retiring from aerospase in Jan 2025. It’s been a great career.
@Fly With Owen you should make a video detailing how you got to where you are, 23 and flying left seat in a G-IV is no small feat! Along with owning your own airplane, I’m sure many people would be interested to see the path you took to get here.
You guys are blessed to be doing what you enjoy. I was knocked out of flying due to a disease that would no longer allow me to obtain a medical clearance.
Beautiful flight. I always enjoy riding along with you in the cockpit. You are an awesome young man and great pilot. I always enjoy your videos. Keep it up, Captain Owen. A+ on this one!!
Very nice, Owen! I really appreciate the focus being placed on cockpit operations, showing everything that's entailed from preflight to shutdown and everything in between. You guys are very professional and detailed oriented. I too have plans to fly corporate one day and can only hope to be as good as you! Very enjoyable video. Thanks for sharing!❤🔥 😊
I was in one of those Gulfstream airplanes for my internship with General Dynamics. Amazing plane!!🤩 can’t wait to fly one of those awesome video by the way!
Owen, your videos are always extremely well made and I greatly appreciate the time you invest in your videos. I really personally appreciate you taking us on your flights and sharing the journey. Thanks again! Looking forward to your next video!!
There only one thing I love as much as what you do, and that’s what I do, in water super yacht delivery and re-positioning captain, we should somehow work together tag team owners! You are amazing and would gladly refer you to any yacht owners unless you are busy enough already, or don’t do Florida? Keep up tha one of a kind truly amazingly informative videos! Have a great weekend!
Excellent flight! Always nice to see you in the front office, very informative and fascinating cockpit discussion. Always nice to fly along with you,Owen. be safe.
Im studying at the UC there, during the summer I fly for the National Guard and CAP, its always fun during my study season to go down and watch the aircraft on 07 and 25
Owen, great to see you back on the air again. Why was the auto throttle adjusting the right engine so much? That may be typical but I have never noticed it. Thanks!
Like always bro really enjoy your travel and flying thanks for the tour on this Gulf really roomy. And to your other pilot great job, look to watch individuals doing what they enjoy and making money. right on.
Great videos Owen, love the professionalism from two top pilots there. I’m a commercial pilot based out of KSAC, in and around your area - let me buy you a pint sometime soon 👍🏼
Amazing video as always! You have one of the best jobs in the world. G4 is pretty sweet if I don't say so... If you want to see some F-22 videos... you know where to turn!
Pretty bird. Wish I could see out the windows a little better. The flashing avionics are a little distracting. But the content is excellent. This is the first time I've watched. Thanks for your efforts and to the captain. I'll be back.
@@FlyWithOwenSean did a video about the nutcracker on the GIV a while ago. Here’s the link. th-cam.com/video/KvIBmSmh9OA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=6wwMF492fJUnMPpO
As someone who lives in Napa and loves aviation, why would you not head for Travis AFB on climb out if you had a major issue? Its just over the hill from Napa (KAPC) vs. having to deal with bay area traffic into KOAK...
Thanks Owen great video. Owen why did you take down the GIII video? I really enjoyed that one as I have several hundred hours in the GIII as a passenger.
Thanks Owen. Question - I noticed in cruise that only the right throttle seemed to be moving with auto throttles engaged. Is that typical on this model?
Is anyone else going to talk about that #2 engine throttle? That thing just could not find it's happy spot. Just constantly throttling up and down, never stopping, all while #1 stayed perfectly still.
I’m curious ( envious ) how, who helped him get to this level. I got my ppl in high school..N6198P…Cessna 152…1985…couldn’t go farther to to poverty ever since…must be nice getting Life guidance or help in some form or another…stay out of Lake County, California…completely saturated with what is known as Lake Flakes…also is a California AB109 …DUMPING GROUND….best of luck to all who e devour to become a professional pilot like this young man is…🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks Owen! You make incredible videos. You are very busy with your career and personal life. Yet, you still make time to mentor those young kids who are interested in being a pilot. I highly respect you for making time for those kids! You sir are the real deal.
Thank you for watching! I always try to give back when I can. Appreciate the kind words.

Career pilot at 23.. Goated. I just turned 21 last month I just started my PPL journey. Planning on being a corporate private jet pilot by 25

Love watching you fly the big stuff and love the conversations you have with other pilots on the flight. Thanks for these.

This guy is a Young pilot, but he seems really confident and very thorough and I would feel safe if he was my personal pilot. Love the content

mate, good advice, never stand below the door when you open it; one day the damper will fail on you and you get a big hit on your head!
you're the man, owen. i'm pretty close to 50 hours TT in a cessna 172. i think i'm ready for the G-IV haha
Ha! Keep it up. Thanks.
Yeah, I’m enjoying this🙏🏽
Thank you!
Nice video Owen! Looks like an enjoyable job.
Looks like incredibly fun flying and overall very exciting operation. Very good video! Best regards from the 320!

Thank you for another great vlog Owen. I thoroughly enjoy sitting up front in the pilot's seat! lol 😃😃😎
Thank you! Got more on the way!
Im studying at the UC there, during the summer I fly for the National Guard and CAP, its always fun during my study season to go down and watch the aircraft on 07 and 25
Nice to see Owen back in the air; I thought maybe the Bonanza ace had kidnapped him again😀
Ha! Thank you for watching.
been countin' the days Awesome video Owen
Thank you! Got more in the pipeline
Owen as an aviation lover these videos are amazing! If you are ever back in Napa I’d love to fly with you. I’ll bring the wine 🤙🏾
Great video Owen! Left seat or right seat, you are always on top of your game!
Thanks so much!
Great video brother.
Mr. Owen…Very Nicely Done! ✅ From a Military Pilot….Outstanding!
great video. Why were the auto throttles so active (especially the right engine) during the cruise.?
Thanks Owen! Love these kinda videos ❤
Thank you for watching!
You flew right over my family's business and home. We always have fun watching the airplanes on final for 25.
Awesome! It’s a beautiful approach.
Awesome Owen! Quick question - why do the throttles get split a little bit sometimes when the autothrottles are engaged?
good catch! had the same question when I saw it. Is it yaw/wind related?
That’s so funny that V tail in the beginning of the video N5VL, I work on doing maintenance on it. Haha Aviation is a small world
Owen, great to see you back on the air again.
Why was the auto throttle adjusting the right engine so much? That may be typical but I have never noticed it.
Thanks!
Thanks! Running on loaner engines and I don’t think they did a great job calibrating.
I had the same question. Thank you!@@FlyWithOwen
I need to connect w you and Curt on flying and real estate. All good stuff! Keep up the filming! Hope to see ya at.VNY sometime soon.
I fly to Napa every week. It's a nice a fun airport
Like always bro really enjoy your travel and flying thanks for the tour on this Gulf really roomy. And to your other pilot great job, look to watch individuals doing what they enjoy and making money. right on.
Thank you so much!
Cool vid. Time to make the move to 121 where all the money and movement is?
Great content...I sit here and watch your vlog thinking I missed my calling !
Thanks for watching!

GREETINGS FROM PALM DESERT CALIFORNIA OWEN... GREAT CHANNEL 👍
Thank you for watching!
Amazing video as always, 1 request if you could incorporate your planning and briefings with your crew!
Thanks for sharing. Do you think its possible to show sometimes the original cockpit sound by T/O and engine spool-up?
Amazing video as always! You have one of the best jobs in the world. G4 is pretty sweet if I don't say so... If you want to see some F-22 videos... you know where to turn!
hello owen great flight , i wish u had a front camera so we could see the landing , thanks
Owen is Napa base for the Gulfstream? Great video.
I really enjoyed this video, but why did you block out the aircraft registration tail number , just wondering......
Pretty bird. Wish I could see out the windows a little better. The flashing avionics are a little distracting. But the content is excellent. This is the first time I've watched. Thanks for your efforts and to the captain. I'll be back.
I have made this exact same trip dozens of times but, never in 45 minutes!
Sure goes by quick!
Awesome vid as always, thanks. Why is the throttle moving apart one from another?
Happy to see a GIV in good shape hahaha no many out there
What’s up with that bulkhead and the 2 seats? Never seen that configuration before and I think I like that.
Great time for sure, Owen plz explain what the "Nutcracker Is and what the Nutcracker test is?
I will do a segment on this in a future episode!
@@FlyWithOwenSean did a video about the nutcracker on the GIV a while ago. Here’s the link. th-cam.com/video/KvIBmSmh9OA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=6wwMF492fJUnMPpO

nice flight .. dont think i seen a view outside the craft all flight . haha . good stuff
Forgot my third camera 😬 I brought it on the future flights so that won’t be an issue. Thank you for watching!
Thanks Owen. Question - I noticed in cruise that only the right throttle seemed to be moving with auto throttles engaged. Is that typical on this model?
Did you break / loose the black Raybans or just add a blue set to the collection?
Love the videos bro! Do you guys fly with a IPad mini on the yoke?
Could you explain why you overspeed the RPM to shut the engine off (instead of just switching them off)? Non-pilot here. Thanks!
Ok owen 😊
Owen, is this a new ride for you. You were flying a turbo twin for a different owner weren’t you. You had your Brother with you going to LAX.
Love that GIII video. Where is it?
Muy interesante...
Why five pilots on the Europe trip? Was it a Part 135 trip?
As jobs go, it’s up there. Have fun dude 🤙🏻
Thank you!
Awesome video, how many hours do get to fly per month with the G-IV?
Is anyone else going to talk about that #2 engine throttle? That thing just could not find it's happy spot. Just constantly throttling up and down, never stopping, all while #1 stayed perfectly still.
Did I miss it: I didn't see any 'tail numbers' on the G4
Thanks for the ride! What was the deal with the "fire" at SBA? Was it on an aircraft or the ground?
I think it was a vessel. Thanks for watching!
A different frame rate would surely help the whirlies on your video. Cool video anyway.
I noticed that only the #2 engine throttle was moving with the AT....is that normal?
Hi Owen, what headset do you use?
Bose Proflight
Do you like it better then A20?
Awesome video. I work in Napa!!! Are you offering rides???😂
What year was this Gulfstream IV built?
Cool Ray Bans! What are they, Wayfarer? And are those G15 glass lenses?
Thanks! Wayfarer Liteforces
Hello from North Carolina (KINT)
👋🏻
Flying in the right seat 45 minute flight how much time do you log?
Great Job Owen.
Do you ever fly left seat?
I do check out some of my previous episodes.
Hey Owen, curious what you are paid to be SIO for a short flight like this if you are comfortable sharing
How long till this becomes a job…… great videos
Thank you!
What was cruise speed and fuel burn for the trip?
I’m curious ( envious ) how, who helped him get to this level. OK video but not a fan of the flashing displays, and b-roll of outside views would be nice as well. Great work between you and Curt up front. 👍👍
Forgot my third camera on this flight, I have it in the next episode for better outside views. Thanks for watching,
Do you shut off the master after overspreading the APU ?
Yes below 10%
