Grew up playing college baseball in the 80s. Had no scouting reports, none of the data they have today. We just sat there and guessed and hit. Batted over .300 in college with none of this knowledge. Would have probably hit .800 with this knowledge back then.

Because of all the information these kids have now. Very few know how to think about the game.
What do you mean by a pitch having a dot?
The spin of the seams will look like a dot in the middle of the ball while it’s moving toward you as the hitter.
