- The Nissan X-Trail VC-turbo mild hybrid is soon to be launched in India at an expected pricing of ₹40-45L
It is currently the second Nissan product in India after the Magnite.
The X-Trail will be sold in India as CBU import.
The biggest Highlight of the Nissan X-Trail is it's World's First 1.5 Turbo Petrol 3 cylinder engine with Variable Compression Ratio technology also including both types of Injection systems; MPFI & GDI.
The Indian X-Trail is a FWD crossover style SUV with 5+2 seating capacity.

Good Review, my onsite manager having nissan rouge from 2021, 1.5-liter DOHC 12-valve Variable Compression Turbo (VC-Turbo®) 3-cylinder engine, looks same in indian xtrail.. its more reliable nissan engines.

Super bro for Delhi visit along with other moto vloggers. Recently we witnessed a very highly costly and unimaginable event in the financial capital of Bharath and this cars launch got delayed because of it maybe but I think the makers have forgotten in Bharath there are people who can afford a car but not price. Hopefully whenever you get a chance to go in such events you can discuss with the makers about the pricing too .

The effort of Nissan company is really commendable when we hear their engine technology is very nice but we can accept its engine in some way but for the price they have given in this car the facilities are very less its competitors will eat it very easily while its competitors are already They are playing amazingly and beyond them this car is winning like this is a big question mark otherwise bear with me this car is very nice and big and beautiful to look at. ❤
In us it's called Nissan rogue, in 2025 model it has 10 Inch touch screen, according to this price in india it's not worth they should give more features.

Toyota Hyryder strong hybrid is 3 cylinder engine, Yaris GRSPORT 3 cylinder engine which are very good performance engine becoz of the engineering...... May be this might be a good engineered car.... I have driven same car with 2.5L engine car in ME its a normal car not perfect like Toyota RAV4 or highlander......... If they have launch surprisingly with 30 L also the sales is going to b tough becoz Hyundai alcazar and kia carens will come lesser price with loaded features..... Its not going to be d competitor to fortuner it may compete with alcazar and carens..... But very tough to stay..... Nissan back end team research on indian customers mentality lacks now too..... In terms of mechanically sound car no one can afford such a budget apart from elite people....... They have survived by a low price magnite they should have tried to price 25 L max......

The 4th Gen X Trail. I hope the car sales unit crosses above the Teana's mark. People are unable to digest the car because of 3 cylinder, lack of features, high pricing & the car being Underpowered. Xtrail is being compared with other cars like Fortuner, Gloster etc. As always it is easy to comment unless the car is driven.
As expected, the 3rd row is pathetic & looks like the car can be considered only as a 5 seater option.
Nissan is still lacking behind & not understood the Indian market as good as MG & Kia
I strongly agree that the pricing is high for the spec & lack of tech features makes the car outdated for this gen. Within the same price range MG Hector offers more features like Adas, Adaptive cruise control, Traffic jam assist, Collision prevention controls etc.
But, this being a CBU unit & it is so obvious that the pricing will be on the higher side as it needs to pass through the import duties & taxes. Hence It makes no sense in comparing with other cars(with similar price range) that are manfactured here.
I guess, the quality, fit & finish will be top notch & also feel that the car will create its own niche audience as well.

Nissan is just dumping their unsold cars to India in the name of CBU route. Just like Yamaha did with their 300cc siblings.

This will not work out for any market in the world. What do we call this?? Over confidence or ignorance? Why not Patrol for India? 5.6L V8, 400Hp for AED 240,500 in Dubai and 1.5L 3 Cylinder 161 Hp for 45L in India. If they bring in Patrol for 50L+ in India. They can definitely rule the market.
