For me, Jack going into coaching and the cherry he's our under 18s head coach within a few months of retiring is a testament to his passion for football and his self confidence in himself that's always been apparent. I'm so pleased for him and us. The people he has round him within the club that he can learn from is an incredible opportunity for him and a big shout to Pers, Mick, Edu and the other people involved in a very brave but very considered and thought out decision to give this to him. If I’m honest I’ve always thought he’s never been comfortable doing the media bit but I realise now that if u give him something to talk about that he loves and is invested in, the difference is unreal. It’s class to hear what goes on at the club and it’s even better knowing the future is in a trusted Arsenal legends hands..keep it going Jack and glad you’re still in the game after the bad luck you went through. Jack has unfinished business in football and the Premiership. Injuries disrupted a hugely promising career. He never quite hit the heights but that said, he still managed to play and score for his boyhood club, lift silverware with them and played/scored for England and got to play in a World Cup. Everyone in the comments would be living the dream to achieve just some of that. Jack has playing experience at the top level and already learning the coaching/managing aspect and he is still only 30 working at the club he loves... Not a bad life and promising for his future in the game.

I mean, football has evolved so much in the last couple of years, it’s only right that the trainings evolve as well. Back in mid 2000s, football in the Prem was more physical than today, with powerful players like Drogba, Terry, Rio, Torres, etc. And, now the league is much more technical, which means, more ball movement, which means, more endurance needed to play the game at a higher intensity

Tony Adams and Paul merson braking down beaucse of that.... but at least they didn't have the track suits on.
Then take bungs of money.... only to then be in the dug out for the other side of North London.

George graham was and is a man that made dirty money on the back of the decisions he could make in the position he held at our club
he's lucky not to have been investigated by the police and that the English FA didn't ban him.
