I am an Arsenal fan so i am biased but, imagine your first managerial job being at a top team who is struggling then get covid and going through a whole pandemic. On top of that, face up against the best managers the game has ever seen and still fighting through it all and staying positive, Props to Mikel

100% man. I share the same sentiment. I was deeply saddened by Wenger's departure, but more so in the appalling manner our own fans displayed. I'm proud to say I backed Arteta from the first day after that interview. I saw something special in the way he articulated what he wanted to achieve with the club. Arteta's success is built off the foundation Wenger laid. Both men deserve due props

Having your first managerial job be a historically big club like Arsenal (13 league titles, 14 FA Cups) is difficult. Even more so when the club is struggling post-Wenger. When Mikel took the job our senior players (Ozil, Sokratis, Luiz, Willian) were an absolute disgrace. To turn the club around (winning FA Cup, fighting for league titles, signing top players like Rice) is a testament to Mikel. Only issue moving forward is that he has to start getting over the line and winning major trophies.
Am an Arsenal fan but I think we Arsenal fans are so impatient and when we lose or draw we start saying all kinds of rubbish like Arteta most go. We need to understand that Arteta has performed beyond expectations and support him no matter what

Been an arsenal fan for around 10 years now. I can comfortably say that what this man has brought to the club has made me an extremely happy man. Hopefully he adds a big title this season, but just look at the style of play, the level of our play, the amazing results were getting, the atmosphere around the club and in the stadium. Alll of this has been better the last 2 years then the 8 before combined. And a lot of it has to be credited to the main man mikel arteta

Applying context into this narrative - he literally had to rebuild an Arsenal team that was neglected under Wenger and Emery and now he’s got a team that’s capable of challenging at the top - yes we’ve been poor in terms of trophies but we also lost key players at the end of those seasons which cost us - going against a Man City that ended up winning the treble was always going to be hard
