POTENTIAL CHANGES Coming to Halloween Horror Nights 2024 | Current Logistic and Layout for HHN 33

- Universal as a whole has been undergoing some major changes and large expansions to their resorts worldwide. Universal Orlando is no different for Halloween Horror Nights 2024.
However, with all of these changes coming to the park, what does this mean for the layout of Halloween Horror Nights 2024?
In today's video, we dive into 5 major areas of potential changes that could impact this year's HHN event. Those areas range from the Fast & Furious building, to the Men in Black tent, and even to the Lagoon show. With Halloween Horror Nights 2024 looming around the corner, production on all of these changes are happening rapidly around the park.
Majority of these topics discussed in this video are just speculation until Universal makes them official. We also will dive more deeply into these 5 major areas of changes in our upcoming Livestream (Tuesday March 12th) as well as some other areas of change not discussed in Today's video.

I’d really love for HHN to do a Dead By Daylight Terror tram. We could have so many scare actors as killers and survivors walking around. We could have cool set pieces and props like generators, pallets, and hooks. There could be an interactive component with guests opening the exit gate to escape too as Trapper, Hillbilly, Wraith, or Huntress chases them.
We rarely put thoughts into Hollywood since we are more focused on Orlando; however, that would be a pretty awesome idea for the Terror Tram that we believe could work out perfectly! Super awesome idea there! 🤘🏼
Aw I hope we don’t loose the parade buildings, those had some of the best houses! But I’m ready for HHN either way!
Yeah those have been some of our favorite houses in the past. It would be a bummer to lose them but hopefully whatever replaces them fills their shoes well 🙏🏼

Great video! I’m excited for the live! If we do lose the parade buildings, do you think the Monsters and IP houses that are typically back there will move to sound stages or will they be in the new tents?
Truthfully we don’t know! We have had the monsters in the Soundstage before, but more than likely they may stick to a Sprung location. As far as the IP, more than likely a Soundstage for those.
@@BrianFromOrlando It’s definitely going to be an interesting year. While I’d miss the all-out scenery throughout the house, a Monsters house with a really great outdoor façade combined with intense scares inside could be amazing!
Amazing video as always! I do enjoy the Fast & Furious house location, it worked for Freaky & Black Phone but it didn’t work for Chucky. I would love to have the MIB Tent back. It will be interesting to see what they do with the Sprung Tents and Parade Buildings this year. All I know is exiting the Sprung Tents last year seemed to be a bottleneck. Tribute Store needs to stay in New York for HHN. We do need the Lagoon Show back. Lots of unknowns for locations for this year. Can’t wait to see what happens. 💜🧡

The Sprung Tents do tend to create a bottleneck at times. Really hoping for them to create a better system for that this year!

@@BrianFromOrlando I think the better question is do we think Nightmare Fuel will be getting a Horror Nights event attached to it this year?

Here’s a change I’d like to see after going last year: HAVE ENOUGH ICE. They ran out with a few hrs to go seemingly everywhere in the park. Ridiculous. However, this may speak to overbooking the event. It was a madhouse.

We 100% agree!! We had so many nights in the earlier run of the event where there was just no Ice anywhere! However, it got better later into October. Hopefully this won’t be an issue for this season.
What houses were in b78 and 109?
We’ve had multiple years of HHN with those locations! Some of those include:
Classic Monsters (2019, 2022, 2023)
The Weeknd
Haunting of Hill House
Beetlejuice
Graveyard Games
The Last of Us
And more!
With the new fallout show coming out do you think there's a chance of a house based off the game/show
We truthfully don’t know! It all depends on how well the show does and if there could be a conversation between the teams for such thing to happen.
I do think they're going to use at least one of the parade buildings for, yaknow, the actual parade, and that's why the new tents. To be honest though, I've heard rumors they're going to go ahead and kill F&F permanently, which could mean they're going to gut the inside for HHN. Time will tell though, I can't say how accurate that rumor is...
We really hope that F&F closes permanently to make room for more improvements! It isn’t a ride that people like plus it takes a great amount of space that could be used for better things, like an HHN house! 😂🤘🏼
Really hope we see the return of a lagoon show for hhn.
We’ve been keeping an eye out for this year to see if it is possible. If not, then they 100% better for next season.
If Freddy comes this year, his sweet/dessert code name should be Crème Brûlée because, he’s you know, Brûlée

Well, there ARE two missing code names!
Along those lines, another good one would be "Crisp." As in, "Apple crisp," "Cherry crisp," and "Child murderer burned to a crisp"!
Controversial opinion - demolish Supercharged. Just eradicate the entire attraction, as it consumes a gigantic footprint. If that means no house in that area so that there are only nine total for 2024, so be it. Rip the band-aid off so that a worthy ride can be built that can mesh better for HHN with a revived 10th house for 2025.
We almost fully agree with you! F&F does need to go for sure but we still need a minimum of 10 houses. That’s where the talks of the MIB tent could come back in just to be a placeholder for the new location moving forward!
@@BrianFromOrlandoI agree that any HHN nowadays needs at least 10 houses, but Supercharged needs to go. It's an utter bust, everyone knows it (including Universal), and the Studios desperately needs attractions to compete with Islands. If only 9 houses were built, Universal could make up the difference with a revived lagoon show and using the Animal Actors and Bourne stages for their own unique Halloween-themed shows. Bringing back a major street show a la Carnival of Carnage would also immensely help with crowd capture and flow.
Universal has options and alternatives if they would just pursue them.
