Amazing contest from both sides, looked like Collingwood were spooked all game, lots of fumbles and missed shots that helped them get lucky last week. Full credit to Carlton, they looked like they wanted it more and it showed with the stats of the game with them eating Collingwood alive in contested possessions.
They were showing early symptoms of the Colliwobbles.

As a Collingwood supporter, i have full admiration for the blues effort, we were tired from the port game and it showed on the field, Carlton were the better team and they won, Carlton are going to do some serious damage, hope Collingwood can bounce back! No team is perfect no matter how bad or how good they are going, we are not going to win every game, we are going to have bad days and good days, it was just a bad day for Collingwood thats all

Just didn’t show up after the first qtr. Carlton played possession footy up until halfway through the 2nd and just went bang after that. Left the Pies completely flat. Can’t take any credit away from the Blues their pressure and ball movement up the ground was next level.

Very, very good game. It was an intriguing match, but it showed that there is always a surprise packet team. Carlton, if not for their premiership points, are a top four team.
They’re not bombing it to the talls anymore, they’ve got a very fit midfield and the pressure all 4 quarters was great. If things change when McKay comes back, I hope they make the tactics decision of not picking him

Even if he's not kicking big numbers of goals, he chases and tackles, and pushes up to give us a marking target in the middle of the ground. That's just silly talk, playing him in the backline.
@@darrenjpeters Whats the issue with trying him in the back line to see how he goes. If you recall he saved the game against Geelong, last 1/4 took 4 great marks and long penetrating kicks into the forward from the back line. Two tall forwards wasnt working.

Between the billion dollar channel 7 network and the billion dollar AFL, why do we have 1980s security cameras for crucial moments like the Elliott kick called a behind. Wasn't going for Collingwood, but it was a crucial time to not have available technology for a call in this game and every other and determine if it was a goal. Seemed to be.
