However, she pronounces her words very clearly, and slow, which is how it should be. That's what it means by "can you speak English fluently?". Her deliverance comes out innate, classy and superb.

I can speak at least six languages fluently and I don't care too much about the grammar anymore. Of course using a correct grammar is important but what is more important is the communication itself.
I think simple present, past and future tenses of the verb is a must in conversation. We call it in Mindanao as "English Carabao" if you're not using these simple tenses correctly. Filipinos are conscious about English grammar but it pays a lot when you use it correctly. 😉

God bless you always...🙏🏻 Btw, i am not sure if you already featured this topic and if it is also useful to others....when and how to use i.e. and e.g., its difference, and if it is proper to use latin words/phrases instead of english words in letter writing. Again, thank you.

Your English grammar tutorial is very timely. It is very common these days to see comments on social media with a bunch of English grammatical errors. Many of us Filipinos try to express our thoughts in English hoping to convey our messages to a wider range of audience. Now, here is an opportunity for us to improve the way we communicate in written and spoken English. Salamat sa kapaki-pakinabang na aralin, sa mahusay na pagpapaliwanag at malinaw na pagbigkas. Sana all. 😊
Thanks ma'am u channel can teach us how to use a correct grammar, that help me a lot often times my twin daughter use to laugh at me trying hard akong mag English just a little bit kasi gusto ko nman tlga, na stagnant na ako entire of my life spending my life lock up ,umiikot ang mundo ko sa familia ko sa pag alaga hay ! Now nag enjoy na ako makinig sa inyo ,May GOD blss u always ma'am thanks
Nice information ! I just have few questions. Is it still proper use a GERUND after the preposition "TO" ? I think once a verb is preceded by "TO" it must be followed by present tense verb and it will become INFINITIVE and this is mostly used when activity is in future plan to be done. Another one is , for #3, does it only require the use of consistent progressive tense on the verb "LOOKING" that's why the next verb "SEEING" is in progressive tense too? It seems awkward to still indicate "TO" before "SEEING" since most of the time, the use of "TO" when verb follows, it is mostly in present tense and not in progressive tense that in effect, it already has its GERUND personality?
@@anonymous-kv4ss is that an apple? which is correct 1. Is that suppose to be an apple? 2. Is that supposed to be an apple? I suppose i can't tell what it is... 1, or 2
GREAT EXPLANATION WITH REGARD TO "I LOOK FORWARD TO" TOPIC; HOWEVER, YOU HAVE TO CLARIFY 2:28 ABOUT THE USE OF TO. THE WAY YOU SAID IT PARANG NAGENERALISE PO. OTHERS MIGHT THINK NA HINDI TALAGA PWEDENG GUMAMIT NG VERB AFTER NG "TO" AT ALL. YOU DON'T SAY "I IMMEDIATELY OPENED THE BOX TO CHECKING WHAT'S INSIDE." --INFINITIVE VERB

What a nice job. We took that up during my second year in highschool. However, I'm confused about the difference between participle and gerund. Nakalimutan ko na now that I'm already 58. Verbals kc yang mga yan. Pandiwari sa Filipino. Thank you po and more power. Congrats. Your vlog is very useful and timely.
Akala ko noon ang phrasal verb ay "look forward" lang. Kaya akala ko rin noon yung "to" ay infinitive marker. Kaya I kept on using "look forward to meet/watch/see"... But now I know. Thank you po!

Thank you Ms. Myra for coming up with this channel, very educational/informative and truly very helpful. God bless you always...🙏🏻
Btw, i am not sure if you already featured this topic and if it is also useful to others....when and how to use i.e. and e.g., its difference, and if it is proper to use latin words/phrases instead of english words in letter writing.
Again, thank you.
thanks so much Myra......I am a teacher and residing now in California. Your video lesson on grammar helps me a lot. God bless.......
Thank you Myra. You touch on mistakes made usually for us Filipinos. It is after all our second language. Thanks for the lessons.
You "touched" on, ... "by" us Filipinos.
It's not only us Pinoys who make mistakes like these. You would be surprised to learn how many of my American co-workers make worse mistakes.
wow! it's your 2nd language? talaga?
Dami ko po natutunan. Madali pong maintindihan kasi magaling ka po magturo. Thank you po!
Thank you so much for the much-needed lessons I overlooked using. Glad to see a channel such as yours.

Hi Teacher Myra! Congratulations to your channel, great content! So proud of you! I hope you won’t mind, but in one of our faculty meetings, I introduced you to our teachers ( through your channel, expect additional subscribers) from our school. Just a “backgrounder” I am a public school principal and I need to do a lot of public speaking and engagements as my job requires of me.
Thank you so much for watching, Sir Allan! 😊

Sana all. 😊
I'm looking forward to meeting u soon, Myra..😊

1, or 2
You should give examples to each statement.. so we know what we're talking about..
Maraming salamat po sa pag-share ng video ninyo. Super linaw po ng pagkaka-explain.
Wherever there is TO+NOUN, e.g. I am looking forward to THE FESTIVAL, there must be TO+-ING VERB, e.g. I am lookin forward TO MEETING you.

Maraming salamat Teacher Myra. You are the best. God bless you
I'm looking forward to meeting you, Myra.
YOU DON'T SAY "I IMMEDIATELY OPENED THE BOX TO CHECKING WHAT'S INSIDE."
--INFINITIVE VERB

Ironic that Filipinos are more conscious of correct grammar than Americans or Englishmen. Who cares as long as you understand what is conveyed..🤣🤣🤣

What a nice job. We took that up during my second year in highschool. However, I'm confused about the difference between participle and gerund. Nakalimutan ko na now that I'm already 58. Akala ko noon ang phrasal verb ay "look forward" lang. Kaya akala ko rin noon yung "to" ay infinitive marker. Kaya I kept on using "look forward to meet/watch/see"... But now I know. Thank you po!
