My son loves his zastava mp22 in 22mag. He smashed 3 foxes last Saturday night each at about 100 to 120m. Cci 40g shoots about an inch at 100m. Good to have your reviews back.
Love your .22mag tests, I still love the .22mag and have resisted buying a 17 HMR for over a decade...I don't see the point.
Nothing wrong with that accuracy for chest shots on Bunnies and Foxes out to 100yds,

17 hmr leaves the 22 magnum back in the dust if you head shoot small game due to it’s inherent accuracy and flatter trajectory- that’s the point of having a 17 hmr

If you know the trajectory of the. 22mag that's not an issue.
My sako quad .22mag will give any HMR serious competition.and it doesn't have to be dead calm.
I'm still not sold on the HMR, its just a mini 6.5 Creedmoor lol.
I watch you video on ammo for a Lithgow 22 magnum, and I tested 6 different brands, the best ammo for my Lithgow 22 magnum rifle was the Aquila 22 win mag 40 grain, it left the cci for dead.👍💯

I bought a heap of Aguila 22lr a while ago. Shoots straight enough, but jeez, it's dirty powder.
For me, 22mag is in a bit of a "dead zone". It doesn't offer any HUGE advantage over 22 (except at close range on game), and is exceptionally expensive for what you get. I bought a batch of "Hornady Frontier" 223 ammo for 58c / round (ok, that was back in 2018). For farming, there is nothing a 223 won't do that a 22mag will, it'll do a heck of a lot more, and the price points aren't much different. To each their own.
22mag is a fair bit quieter than 223 so if on smaller acreages it's better for the sound factor
And outside the usa at least in my country 223 is 2.5 usd and 22 mag is 1.5 usd per round
In the UK the most powerful semi-autos we can have are .22 mags
Yeah all personal preference I will always take the 223 or 222 just for a better shot on a roo fox ect but nothing wrong with a 22 mag
I got a box of this for my Stevens 22 mag and it was terrible. The whole box the pin had to hit 2-3 times before it would go off, and 4 out of the pack of 50 wouldn't fire at all. Made for a crap range session. And yes I had 2 other brands that performed faultlessly on the day.

Went to .17 hmr as never found the .22 wmr to be quite as accurate.

Happy with roos with the mag out to about 130m
Bought a cz452 years ago and if i do my job head shots at 130paces are every day occurrences .40 grain hp highlands it loves farster cci not as reliable but ferals dont know

You could still use it foxes and dogs but it would be a well placed headshot though, but yeah I wouldn’t go past 80-100 yard though

this runs well through my ruger, but i found the best for me is the hornady critical defence in 22mag. always zero mine at 100m and it has the most consistent and tightest group yet. of course this does differ for everyone. my 22lr shoots eley the best.

I try any an all .22 mag ammo I can get. Never know what mite be a close second to my riffles fave, which is win 40 gr fmj's, for some reason my rifle really likes those, CCI SP or Fmj's so far are a close 2nd. Thx for the vid
that's my problem with my 22wmr. i feel rimfire ammo is hard to find a consistent poi. whether the care in creating the loads are lacking or maybe my rifle needs work. i reload 223, and it works out to be close to same cost as 22wmr yet super accurate and the obvious extra range/punch. the poor lithgow 22wmr is a safe queen now. shame, because i love the feel of the rifle.
I have had a couples of these rim explode in my cz 515. But I have been able u achieve 0.8 moa to 1.5 moa with it
Quality control might need looking at. I bought a box of their .22lr 'Calibri' rated at 420fps thinking like the Theokie Caps of my youth it could eventually be used for 'backyard/hallway' plinking on wet days. Shot from my Lithgow 101 in very good condition some rounds went well but others would get stuck halfway down the barrel ... and an occasional few would be very loud, almost like a CCI subsonic (720fps). Thoughts?

In shooting this brand, I've found something that I've never experienced in any other brand before. The smoke from these Aguila cartridges makes me cough! Have you noticed a peculiar smell from these Ozzie?
I haven't found these to be particularly accurate, as compared to Federal or CCI either.

I am in the process of buying a .22 wmr. What is your opinion OZZIE of the Marlin 25mn 22 wmr. ???I can buy a one in almost new condition. It only has less than a box of bullets fired.

I shoot hornady vmax in my RPRR with spectacular results. I’m wondering the price difference in a plinking ammo like this in comparison. It might be worthy to try a box if it’s a lot less then the vmax
Good .22mag is danm near the same price as .556 right now, the ONLY cheap .22mag ammo I could find was armscore 500 for $109 shipped everything else was at leat double the price, it's getting harder to find
