You're spot on about the theory on Loretta and Dickie. Just rewatched her song in episode 3 and remember clocking that in certain frames it appeared that she was very much singing at Dickie and Oliver. I think the director framed the shot purposely by positioning D next to O. Rewatching that scene with this knowledge actually made certain things super clear now in hindsight.
I totally agree! I actually rewatched that song after I uploaded this video (because it's a freaking bop lol) and I noticed that too. Very clever. Kinda reminds me of in season one where we don't immediately notice Theo Dimas on the rooftop in the background until we know what happens later
thank you for using actual evidence from the show in your theory. the twin theory is just so unsatisfying to me and everyone is obsessed with it. it doesnt answer any questions about the muder its just an unnecessary extra plot point
Good catch! Not sure if that's a production error or intentional but it's definitely something to note. Only person I know on the tenth floor is Oliver, maybe someone caught Ben outside the party and pushed him
Thanks for watching and for your feedback! Episode six may throw some wrenches in the whole handwriting match but I still think it holds up so far. We'll have to see what happens!
Great Theory. I agree the theater was something he ate or didn't eat. Perhaps someone took his medication and he had a panic attack on stage...after eating a ton of cookies! I do feel if there are multiples this season it is Loretta. I could see her taking the blame for something Dickie did to make amends. Perhaps Dickie did not push him on purpose. It could have been an accident.
Great point about the medicine! Maybe instead of going to the white room he just kinda fainted because he was in shock. It would also explain why they weren't in his system! I also agree it could have been an accident, also why dickie was saying "I'm so sorry" in episode three when he was in Bens apartment. We will have to see!
I agree with the theory about Dickie. I feel he's the killer. Idk if youve noticed that there are a lit of Shakespeare clues. In the 1st episode Oliver and Charles mentions that in the past men had the tendency of playing female roles. The 1st two seasons women have played the killer role so maybe a man is taking the role this season. Then in episode 6 there is another strong clue that points ne to Dickie. I dont want to spoil it if you havent seen it yet.
The fog machine turns on by talking on intercom. It clears as Charles come on stage. The first page of the script that KT shreds dont mention fog machine.
Season 1 focused on Mabel, season 2 on Charles, season 3 is Oliver so it's definitely super chaotic and way too much theater, but I feel like it's on purpose and they're gonna pull it together at the end... I'm hoping! 🤞🏼🤞🏼
I think you're 100 percent right about Loretta and Dickie, but I'm gonna go one step further and say Oliver is his father after a one night stand at studio 54 or wherever that party was they were both at!
@@meggleasmr9558 good idea! It was interesting the show mentioned this, would be an interesting wrinkle to throw in because this show does like to throw extra twists in here and there
Loved your video ! I personally love this season, but its cuz I am a big theater kid lol I was in multiple school plays/musicals. So it's been interesting. Plus Paul Rudd and Meryl Streep have been a nice addition ❤️ the white room scenes cracked me up 🤣 plus the Pickwick Triplets song is so catchy and been living rent free in my head the past five days. I want a soundtrack so bad !!!! I agree with what you're saying about 14:03 !!! I still think Ben did something terrible to Kimber.... I feel Loretta is too predictable. I think the killers are Donna, Dickie, and Tobert.
Thanks so much for watching! :) i will eat my words a bit about the theater aspects of this show -- it is a lot but it's getting better at melding these two worlds together. I also agree tobert is related somehow but for the life of me I can't figure out how and why!
@@kitkatz3859 there are videos mentioning that Tobert got fired from the documentary... so maybe revenge. It's just odd that he isn't in certain scenes. Did you watch up to episode 8 ?
@@sueswang_ I was thinking about that, maybe also that he could have been the one calling and was blackmailing dickie and Ben for something? This most recent episode 8 was great but has literally fried my brain 😂
The reason why the door was locked was possibly because the tiktok star decided to shred the napkin or Ben was ill in that room maybe into the shredder, Most likely the first option. What if the reason why the drugs didn't show up was because they didn't digest because he ate the cookies!!
Okay guys I have a super weird and probably totally wrong theory but hear me out: I keep thinking why is the fish named President McKinley and why do we see so much and hear so much about this fish?? So I'm thinking what is significant about the real President Mckinley. One small connection I found was that when Mckinley was shot and killed, his VP, THEODORE ROOSEVELT succeeded him and became president. Could this be a clue that the assassin of Ben is either Theo or Teddy? Teddy wouldn't make sense because he's not been in this season at all but Theo may have motive. Maybe because he has a thing for Mabel and wanted to get back in her life? Hell, idk. But why else the whole fish story??
I love a good historical theory, you're appealing to the history minor in me 😂 I think the fish bit was them trying to show Charles has lost his mind but if this is true I think you win an award because this is the most creative theory I've seen yet!!
@kitkatz3859 also, I still don't trust Joy and I don't believe that Charles hallucinations were due to some Broadway "white room", I think Joy was poisoning him or something like that. I just really still don't trust her. Maybe fish poison, idk
*Spoiler alert! 🎸 Spoiler alert!* I think you nailed the killer of the theater. Although, you made me think of something. The fact that Loretta says "fucking pig", and that Ben chose those words specifically (almost in a childish way) could indicate that Loretta was a mother figure in his life for some time since it may have been used frequently.
My thought on the wedding dress is either an imagination of Mabels stress of being with someone whilst being constantly involved in the murder or simply she's getting married and someone is coming for the trio or just Mabel and Tobert is in a dangerous position to potentially die being the murder for the next season though I think there might be something bigger for the next season potentially as the final season
Also I think Loretta 100% flopped that table read on purpose. We saw in the audition that she knew that part perfectly and was a serious performer. Now she's practicing scottish accents in front of the whole cast? Lol no that was definitely on purpose. Maybe to mess with Ben, idk
I love that idea! She could have also been nervous seeing her son in person again (not to push my theory too much that Loretta is dickies mother lol) but it does seem a little weird to do that all of a sudden
@kitkatz3859 oh no I am 100% with you, Loretta is Dickies mother and all the pictures in the scrapbook thing had Dickie in them, classic misdirection haha. Only makes sense!
I still have weird vibes about Joy. Maybe in her makeup case, she had cookies and put them in Ben's dressing room when he was in there? Maybe Ben isn't on a Cobro diet but maybe Ben was diabetic or something like that. And for some reason she wanted to get back at him. Maybe because he was giving Charles a hard time. But it's a notable connection that Joy knew Ben when he was a child on Brazzos right?

Hydrate! 82% awesome! 18% better than awesome but Sting won't let us include it in the awesome percentage!
Thanks so much double p! Love your videos, can't wait to see your review of episode 6 :)
In the scene where Mabel and Charles were discussing Ben holding the hankie when he fell, the floor he fell from was 10, not upstairs at his place.
Good catch! Not sure if that's a production error or intentional but it's definitely something to note. Only person I know on the tenth floor is Oliver, maybe someone caught Ben outside the party and pushed him
100% agree with your theory.

The Arconia killed Ben.
True!! 😂
