I think it says that the light performance doesnt affect mobile gaming so if somebody is a heavy user in that sense for gaming, light performance won't affect that but everything else. It says it under the setting. 0:45
@@larsinthefuture I'm not charging while using it tho and my battery care mode is on I'm also on lite mode like idk what's going on.... Since yhe heatung i also started just using the hd+ resolution I'm doing anything i can had to sacrifice performance just for it not to heat up this is crazy for 1400 dollar phone
You can also create a night time routine to go into Airplane Mode (if it's not your main phone ) with power saving enabled and in this manner you can save even more battery. Disabling animations improves performance and battery cost.
Nice video. A lot of people don't realise modes and routines can help with battery life. Eg, I have mine set to put the phone in power saving when I'm sleeping and it's not charging, and I have it set to turn off always on display when my phone connects to my car. Other than that, the S23 and S24 Ultra both have great battery life. Both are much better than the Exynos S22 Ultra I had before.
yeh im quite fortunate that im near a charger a lot of the time, but on weekends i need to use powersaving as im quite often out away from chargers all day long
@tttechnology I agree. The S22 Ultra was my first phone in years that I couldn't rely on to last me a full day. Even my old Huawei Mate 20 Pro was running circles round it in terms of battery life, and it was 3 years old at this point. A lot of the new Samsung battery protection is very similar to what that old Huawei had so it's nice to see Samsung catch up in that area.
Thank you for sharing this video 😊. Quick question, would these settings also apply to a Samsung Galaxy book in your opinion? Samsung is wonderful at making Devices however they always seem to have a significant battery drain issue😮.
Yes they can still help on the galaxy book, as i said just make sure you are not cutting performance you need if you're activating the light profile, but all the adaptive stuff works really well for saving battery
I use light mode all the time lately on my s24 ultra & I do normal stuff plus play codm & no slow downs or issues I can tell a decent difference between light & standard but I use 120hz with QHD+ with show wallpaper on aod I get from 5:30am till late on standard or light mode
Even with the light mode on, it does not affect the performance in daily usage a bit, plus this setting does not apply when gaming. So if you are someone who is not doing productive/creative tasks like video editing and exports on a day to day basis, I think it's the perfect setting.
@@robhughes8516I got this phone (base model) for five bucks a month extra. The battery seems trash when I got it, every time I looked down it lost like ten percent it seemed and it would lose 50% charge by the time I got to lunch break.

Pretty much done everything you say in the video but came here just to see if there is something extra I should do, thanks!
Light mode states that it doesn't apply to gaming.
So the phone will go to standard mode for gaming. Set it and forget it!
Beautiful explanation, thanks.
Thanks bro. Much appreciated. Keep the content coming. Hope you have an incredible day.
Thanks Tim! Have a great day!
Great video but I tried them I stay at full 100% charging any less don't last a day
Bro i swear i did it too and it still heats up

Mine does, but I'm not on it constantly

Work perfectly
Thanks
It was a quite good tips video. Thanks!
I have almost all tips on in my Galaxy S24. But about fast charging... Just use your routines to turn off fast charging at night.
Very good video! Thank you!

I'm do frustrated that I update my phone.. before that update my phone battery hold one day now is dying faster
Hey man i thought the S24 Ultra has a Large Vapor Chamber for stays cool while gaming. As a mobile gamer it gets hot the Vapor Chamber is useless
You should make a day in the life blog to see how it drains in your case
😅😂 fr❗🫡
Wrost battery ever
I chat only for 3 hr and its battery comes 40 from 90 😢
I turned off data in the background for each app and mobile data for each app battery has lasted better
Ever since the last update the battery is proper proper shit, it's only been 2hours I have not used the phone and it's on 63% wtffff
You doing something wrong, what phone do you have?
Getting 1 day and 15 hours until my S24 Ultra's battery hits 20% with most of these changes.

use a tpu case
Mine doesn't heat and lasts more than a day if I don't play games

My s24 ultra battery drains about 10 percent overnight, is it normal?
No
Yea same for me
No, s23 here, drains 1 or 2% overnight
Why would a person need their phone on at 4 am 😅😅😅😅❓
Because some of us are at work at 4am
Work, gym, whacking it.

Sacrifing speed for battery life is thw dumbest advice on youtube
Why the fuck would.i pay a shitton of money just to slow my phone down
as i said it depends , if you a gamer or doing lots of exports then it doesnt make sense , its only for those that need to extend battery life
