Happy Friday folks - very cool video as usual.
Once again I have frustration because I subscribe again and you tube unsubscribes me and so on and so on.
I feel it’s unfair to us who subscribe and to you who look to see how many subscribers you have.
Sorry but feeling a bit of big brother happening. Didn’t used to be this way but sure glad you keep posting - Rock solid

Hey Ian & Jamie, Big fan of your work and the channel. Just a quick note, As a lifelong electrician (I'm 60 now), 90 amps is sufficient to run everything on the compound with AC. I have run my home and shop with welder and air compressor on 60 amp service for almost 20 years, ( I just upgraded to 200 amp service last year, selling the house.). This includes hot water, dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer, two separate AC units for central air in the house and one big window unit for the shop, plus everything to needed to run a family of 8 people. Other stuff like 5 xboxes, 6 tv's, 3 alexa's, 11 computers including 3 servers, high speed internet and more (think kitchen). You're goal is to balance the load between each leg in the panel to within 5% of each other by splitting or adding circuits to keep the panel balanced. Ohms law and some math is your friend here. Its tidy and you make full use of your service. Balancing your panel also lowers your electric bill a bit too. I'm sure others on the channel will comment on this but thought this might help. Always look forward to your weekly vids.

I understand where you are coming from Ian. You are proving things can be done WITHOUT ALL THE GEAR SOME SAY YOU NEED !!!! I was building bicycles then doing most of the work on my vehicles and now bicycles again with only a mig welder, a dropsaw, an angle grinder and basic hand tools and have managed quite well.

You make us feel that we are right there beside Ian as he works his magic with metal ! Ian I'm so very ,very impressed at how quickly you are picking up all the ins and outs of the English wheel art....and I don't use the term Art lightly. It is a skill using motion , pressure , speed , and direction....you Sir are an artisan in your craft ! All the Best !

IAN, I noticed you use light refraction to help you determine shape .The dentless remover guys do the same thing.they have a 4 wheeled cart that has an adjustable arm that holds a 4 lamp 24" wide fluorescent lamp .you can move and adjust the lamp vertically or horizontally to create the needed light . They cut cardboard shades about 11/2" wide x 24"'s to diffuse the lite over each bulb . The soft white light lit up the metal they were working on. I was allowed to watch them take out 8 or 9 dents viciously put in my Harley front fender . Perfect no painting required! He then went over the Burgundy metallic with a hair dryer because he claimed the mettalic chips " stand up" when dented !

I used to watch you on the Discovery Channel and now you have your own channel on TH-cam and you still amaze me to this day. Absolutely incredible work. I remember the episode you did when you lowered the roof on I think a Pontiac at some old boys farm and he was freaking out on how quickly you were doing it and all I could do is laugh because you weren’t using any new tools and he was going crazy. Awesome episode another great video from you. Thank you so much. Please take care of yourselves and blessings to both of you from the UK.

TV crew! Love how you knock down the volume for the hammer blows and leave the voice up around it. Very watchable! This is much better work than most audio engineering. "Everybody" seems to always have the driving rock music interstitials way too hot. The viewer is always setting the volume for the narration but then scrambling for the button to "Turn that crap down!". So, thank you!

It seems you are quite the teacher. Watching you learn the English wheel gave me an understanding I couldn't have gained without actually doing it myself. The trial and error then finding the answers and then going back at it was the key. Seeing what happens when it's done incorrectly is way more helpful than showing half of how to do it and none of how it looks when you screw up. Thanks for the lessons. I don't have a stretcher or shrinker but I know everything has a limit, what does it look like if you stretch too much in one spot? I bet if it doesn't rip you probably still can't weld it...too thin?

Delighted to see that Honest Ian’s has relocated to the desert with you - Finding the stretcher in your toolbox (that’s been there for 11 years LoL) reminded me of the measure once, cut twice moment from a previous episode. Lesser content creators would have edited that stuff out. Love the real time thought processes and discussion. I only wish Jamie would chime in more, or better yet, full on assist (apprentice?). Appreciate you both braving the heat for us (your biggest?) fans. Thanks so much!!!

I'm always amazed at how much time (and labor) goes into your craft. In the TV series everyone always commented on how fast you were - like there was a magic wand involved and all the stuff you did on a vehicle occurred in a couple of hours. Obviously, that grossly understated the effort you made and, I think, didn't show you in the proper light. The TV series never really showed the extent of your skills either - an omission corrected by your TH-cam videos. Awesome to watch! Thank you both for sharing, and for providing the rare opportunity to learn while being entertained.

I WAS NOT SURE I "LIKED" YOUR "METHODS"
BOY O BOY WAS I WRONG ! I CAN NOT AFFORD ALL THOSE "TOOLS"
    THE "OTHERS" ARE RECOMENDING ;
I AM AN OLD SCHOOL GUY , LITERALLY , SO = WHEN YOU TEACH ME

CAN MAKE OR SIMPLY UTILIZE & MODIFY AND "MAKE DO"
I AM SO GLAD I WATCHED & SUBSCRIBED

Really like it that Jamie can hold her young and let you be the man and take responsibility for our own blood letting! Marks of a good woman!

You really said a mouthful regarding belief in manifestation. I too believe letting go releasing and visualizing the outcome, allowing God the universal power works. It does and has in my life. 3 years ago I lost my wife of over 40 years to cancer and today although I’m still getting accustomed/acclimated to being alone ( this year turning 70) God the ethereal power has rewarded me muchly for putting my faith and trust in it/Him. See it believe it and release it. I like you two a lot - bless you both. Thanks for making interesting educational and enjoyable videos.
