"Our daughter loves animals, so you can imagine how excited she was visiting her uncle's stables in St Leonard’s at Christmas time. She spent every morning running to the stables to check on the horses, patting, feeding and kissing them. She adores horses and is very gentle with them, and they looked forward to her visits, each popping their heads out to greet her as she passed."

That's a relationship those horses won't 🐎 ever forget, even if they get separated for years. When she comes to the fence and calls their names they won't hesitate to come running. They were all so gentle and calm with her 🐎..

Because humans don't see animals as intelligent,but they are. Humans could learn a thing or two from animals if we just pay attention.

I love your take on this situation!! I’ve heard through my 69 years that there is a special relationship between young children and animals but I agree that the child has learned to not fear but to give some morning sugar. These types of posts give me such hope.

If this child's face doesn't get ripped off. Horses can easily do that, without even trying. If you've been around them, you know that they are insanely powerful, their bodies, legs, and teeth and jaws. Even the gentlest horses can be unpredictable at any moment, that's just their nature, that's a normal horse.

Kids and animals. My granddaughter wants to see her dog as soon as she wakes up. She's 2.. he wants to see her too. A big pittie and he lets her sit on him and put his collar on.
