mmmmm ... Russian artillery was nowhere to been seen for the entire campaign, Soviet doctrine required massive use of it, still a good game, not very realistic but quite engaging
@@mariosacchi9290 There is a ton of Artillery on the Pact side , the AI just doesn't use it properly, usually one or two guns at at time
Those poor Eagle drivers being told to sit out the second half of the fight because the greatest threat to them was not enemy fire, but flying through the battalion fire missions and eating a 155mm shell.

That 11th cavalry regiment deciding to hold back onto Soviet flanks must have a great story to tell
You put the cherry on top of the cake... but in this scenario cherrys were artillery shells and cakes were red and communist.
Shame to see this ending - was lots of fun to watch

It's kinda sad that infantry in the campaigns is mostly useless unless it's a town/city map(and in most cases you can just ignore the city parts. Would like to see the infy get either a bit more usability for them campaigns, least in my opinion

Very interesting that the enemy took less aircraft losses than you, probably because you used your aircraft really well and were willing to risk them to take out important units

oh boy. imagine being in the general staff and trying to explain to the kreml why you lost 49% of your battalions and most of your tanks and helicopters in 2 days! i am sure the KGB had to work overtime "raising" moral and "promoting" new officers.....

Is it just me, or did the Campaign Closing VoiceOver sound AI generated?
You are aware that all the voice lines of generals are AI generated right? Not just that line.
Also, AMRAAMs? In the 80s?
That's not unreasonable. They entered service in 1991. But were around for a few years before that. If this scenario happened IRL they would probably have AMRAAMs.
(Edit: I did some checking. WARNO is set in 1989 and their timeline and the real life timeline split a few years before that to emulate the building up of forces in the theater. In that situation you could bet that they would push more equipment into service faster. Like having the AMRAAM that was designed in 1987 be fielded in 1989 in small numbers)

Use rocket artillery next
I have a question: when I bring in my units they get grouped up as 1 unit, how do I remove this feature?
It's called "smart grouping". You can click "dissolve" at the bottom of your screen when the group is selected. Alternatively when placing units, don't click the card multiple times, click it once and shift click the battlefield to place multiple ungrouped units.
You can also turn off auto smart grouping in the options 🙂
