Can you connect 2 different modems...1 AT&T Cellular modem, 1 Verizon network extender..Or do you need 2 seperate antennas?
I honestly don’t know as I’ve never tried something like this. That being said SMA splitters are pretty cheap on Amazon and you could always return them if it doesn’t work. If you do try to do this I’d be interested to know if it worked. In theory it should .. the question is how much signal loss you get from splitting it.
I cant believe they made the Price higher on the New Waveform 4X4 Antenna but yet they made the Cable 10 FT shorter. The Original 4X4 Antenna Cable was much thicker and was 30 FT and now the New one is 20 FT and they charge you more if you need to add more length that's really just laughable to me. I do understand the shorter the Cable the more Reliable it will be but that's just a money maker in my opinion. Waveform told me over Chat it's not really worth Upgrading to the New 4X4 Antenna because in my case I'd have to buy longer Cable's and they said the longer the Cable's the less Reliability and Speed I'd get so they said in my Case using the 30 FT Cable with the Original 4X4 Antenna and trying to use a 30 FT Cable with the New Antenna would give me around the same Reliability and Speeds. Cellular Home Internet is definitely a very Area specific Service!
The new antenna has a new build but the internals to the antenna are the same. The new antenna uses SMA connectors which are smaller and it has a new redesigned mounting system. I was able to get better speeds on the new antenna compared to the old one because of this new mount. It is so much more adjustable.
Whoever decided to create such short cables on the router side clearly had no idea what he was doing. Did you silver tape the router on the window? With other larger routers it would be even worse .. Using additional sma cable to extend would be dumbest thing to do.
Nah the router is on a table next to the window
