You guys probably know that your big box comps are reselling for an arm and a leg, but some store in california was moving inventory and noticed they had one on the shelf that wasn't posted on reverb! Serial number R6 lol I bought the pedal 8 minutes after it was posted, I believe. And side note, I literally sh*t myself when I saw the post, but it's okay because I was on my bathroom break at work... so crisis averted.
What a lovely Pedal Show. How can you not love Mike when one of his first comments is about Chris Squire- 'Rest In Peace' with gentle warmth and sincerity. What a great story and what a fascinating person in his genuine humility for such incredible skill, vision and the joy and inspiration he has given while treating weekend warriors with the same respect as legends. I agree, his email replies have always been respectful, honest and as prompt as his precious time allows. Great show guys and long may Analogman's song go on.
At some point, Mike needs to open a museum! I also love how Mike closed his eyes while answering some of the questions. You could see his mind sorting through years of information and experiences. What a treasure of knowledge!

pedal builders generally have mutual respect for each other. MXR even has a guest program where Jeorge Tripps (of Way Huge) invited Analog Mike to create the MXR Duke of Tone. pedal builders collaborate sometimes. You won't find this in the guitar world. Fender / Gretsch will never collaborate with Gibson on anything.

I’m re-watching this 4+ years after this was originally released, having just received my wonderful King of Tone after waiting 4 years on the waiting list, while also feeling a little nostalgic and sad with how much the world has changed since with COVID-19, masks, distancing, travel, etc.
Wish I played and had shows and stuff so that pedals would be tools, not merely the toys they are to me now. Nice to see chops I don't have played through pedals I don't have. I'm glad just knowing they're out there.
I had no idea he was in Connecticut! Anyways, I'm on the waiting list, but I couldn't wait and recently purchased a KoT. It has high gain on both sides and a toggle on the Red side. I was hesitant to go high gain at all, but I'm so glad I did. There is plenty of range on the volume and drive controls. I find I get everything I need between 12 and 2 o' clock, and the toggle is very nice to have. It certainly is a fine overdrive and I have, or have had, many drive pedals. Mine's blue by the way, gorgeous!
Last summer I stopped in to visit the crew a while and was warmly received. Purchased the in store demo KOT (no long waiting period), and I've been thrilled with it ever since. Got a complimentary AM tie dye tee in blue just like Mike's, Dan's right, AM is a totally tripped out spot on our planet. Vortex of happiness. Everything's Hand Made, one at a time. Just the best. Thanks Guys !

This is my favorite episode and I love D&M’s channel. I have bought many pedals from Analog Mike since 2003 and he has always been cool answering my many questions and getting me what I want. I'll admit, at first I was a little less excited than I should have been. After watching and listening, I've been enamored! Those 60fps moments were like butter for my eyes and ears. gorgeous and I can't wait for the next part!
I bought a second hand Beano and wanted some more info on it, i mailed a few pics over to them and within the hour id received an answer on when it was made and where it was first shipped to, fantastic people to deal with. The pedal is definitely a keeper.

I bought a shinei companion fuzz when I was a youngster and didn't understand why it sounded terrible through my 100w laney transistor combo, I just thought fuzz was terrible Now I'm using decent valve amps I cant believe how good my Analogman Sunface and Beano Boost pedals sound. I've learnt so much about amps and pedals from your brilliant show, thank you again!

I was experimenting with my King of Tone today and I can definitely tell a lot of thought and care was put into that pedal. It's sounds open, detailed and huge. I love it. :D
I love my AstroTone fuzz the way some people love original Klons or King of Tones. It's a fuzz in a class just so far outside the standard and works perfectly on stage in a mix.
How good the AnalogMan stuff is? I bought a DS1 modded and a Bi-Chorus (stupidly selled after few days ‘cause is not stereo…😢) in a used market in Rome, Italy, and only today, once I took of from the box (yes, I have the box of that DS1 with the “sun” of Mike stamp on it! 😍) I’ve realized how good the DS1 sounds! Thx very much Dan and Mick for this reportage and Mike to being so genius!!❤

This is so cool. I have a few Analogman mods and they are generally my favorites. I bought my first piece of gear form Mike in 1995/1996 before Paypal and all this. I had to send a money transfer from France, it was all new and exciting.
Now that was a great video ... AnalogMan's shop looks exactly as I hoped it would ... the lair of the genius! I live in RI ... 15 minutes from the CT border. Wish I new you guys were coming over. Should do more of this type video, well done.
There used to be a company, from Texas, I believe, called Paia or something like that. My stepdad bought me a pedal kit, an envelope filter, to make when I was 13. It was my introduction to soldering, and working on my own gear.

I bought a shinei companion fuzz when I was a youngster and didn't understand why it sounded terrible through my 100w laney transistor combo, I just thought fuzz was terrible Now I'm using decent valve amps I cant believe how good my Analogman Sunface and Beano Boost pedals sound. I've learnt so much about amps and pedals from your brilliant show, thank you again!

I was experimenting with my King of Tone today and I can definitely tell a lot of thought and care was put into that pedal. It's sounds open, detailed and huge. I love it. :D

I got my 1st king of tone last week. A truly inspirational pedal.
I love my AstroTone fuzz the way some people love original Klons or King of Tones. It's a fuzz in a class just so far outside the standard and works perfectly on stage in a mix.
How good the AnalogMan stuff is? I bought a DS1 modded and a Bi-Chorus (stupidly selled after few days ‘cause is not stereo…😢) in a used market in Rome, Italy, and only today, once I took of from the box (yes, I have the box of that DS1 with the “sun” of Mike stamp on it! 😍) I’ve realized how good the DS1 sounds! Thx very much Dan and Mick for this reportage and Mike to being so genius!!❤

This is so cool. I have a few Analogman mods and they are generally my favorites. I bought my first piece of gear form Mike in 1995/1996 before Paypal and all this. I had to send a money transfer from France, it was all new and exciting.

There used to be a company, from Texas, I believe, called Paia or something like that. My stepdad bought me a pedal kit, an envelope filter, to make when I was 13. It was my introduction to soldering, and working on my own gear.
An instant classic episode! Very enjoyable. Looking forward to the Sun Face feature. Have a BC109 version, that Mike suggested. Great fuzz! Cool guy
