@@Dillon000 amazing, thanks! can't go wrong with that screen protector. I actually prefer the feel of that screen protector vs not having one. So it's not just for protection, actually improves the display imo.. because of less finger prints and micro scratches and just feels smoother to swipe on. Anyway, hope you enjoy it! 🙏

I like the kickstand feature of the ESR case but am wondering if the perimeter edge offers a rubberized finish for improved grip? I often use my phone in the backcountry for GPS and photography so I look for cases with that feature.
Ahh valid point! I think I understand what you mean. As far as cases with rubberized edges go, there's the ESR one I show at minute 8:10 in the video, but you lose out on MagSafe compatibility there. Otherwise, I've been eyeing a case from Casekoo that has something they call a 'Magic Stand' where the kickstand pops out from the ring in a super cool way and to me it looks like the edges are rubberized. I would buy it myself but it's not available on Amazon Canada. I found it on Amazon US though: amzn.to/3xxEgBN

Thank for all the advice, just a question regarding the camera protection kickstand, does it influence taking pictures or videos by the camera? Seems like it is not possible to turn it 180 degrees
Thanks for watching Jitka🙏 No, can't say it influences pictures taken with the phones camera at all. Yes, not possible to go past 90 degrees.. though not sure why that would be desirable as past that point the phone would surely topple over.

got the ESR standard magsafe clear case. i would say the magnetic holds really well compared to orher cases i have. the only problem i have was that it’s starting to get yellowish. totally fine since it cost less as compared to other brands. great buy though. 😁
Thanks for the comment! Yep, I think all clear cases, even apples own one, are plagued by that yellowing over time.. just a matter of when.

Magnetic is stronger than most of cases and Apple MagSafe case as well
You should probably get the silicone version of this case (not the clear ones) if you are worried about yellowing.

Hey Jack, thanks for watching! I believe you should be fine based on what i saw that charging stand is with a quick google search. It works on wireless charging mats no problem. If you have an exact link to the product you mention I could give you a more confident answer.
Hey, thank you for replying. I will post the link. With the kick stand on the case it is slightly thicker round the edge of camera so not sure if it would interfere with my mag safe charger. Thanks

@@jacktricker9702 Ahh ya if it's a magsafe charger you're talking about then that should work with the kickstand version of this ESR case that I show in the video no problem.
It also works on my wireless charging mat (though i don't ever use that since it's not magsafe) which makes me believe any additional small bump in the camera this kickstand case may have makes no difference for compatibility there.

The Casekoo Magic Stand, available for most newer iPhones works well in both vertical and horizontal orientations. That looks like a nice case, but I think the Casekoo is better. Still, enjoyed the video!! Thanks!!!

I found out about the Casekoo last week, I don't think it will be clear cut victory though since casekoo implementation doesn't allow as many tilts in horizontal and can't find it on Amazon in Canada. Might buy it and do a versus!

I will say that, with Casekoo's iPhone 12 Pro Magic Stand case, it doesn't have the raised edge around the camera bump, but the case is thick enough that it protects the cameras just fine. I've noticed that starting with the 13s, they've added the raised camera bump, but that makes sense because the 13 was the first iPhone with large lenses.

Hey Saahil, thanks for watching brother. The clear black version that i'm mainly showcasing in the video does not yellow over time or at least has yet to show any signs of yellowing for me. The regular 'clear' version has exhibited very slight yellowing on the outer rims after a few months of use.
As for the kickstand mechanism, no issues to report with it personally to date.

Does that black color case will get yellowish after few days or months?
So far it's holding up great. No yellowing at all with months of daily use. So it seems this darker black clear case is more resistant to yellowing than full transparent version.. at least so far!

Hey Faisal, can confirm the case is pretty much good as day 1 since I bought it. No yellowing and kickstand still sturdy as ever. Ended up buying it for both my parents too with no complaints so far.

Hey Adarsh, If I am understanding you correctly, no it does not. It's made of solid durable material but no glass. I've been using it everyday since I posted this video and no issues still.

ya clear one didn't hold up to yellowing very well.. i would go with the clear black one. That one still hasn't yellowed

First time hearing about Mujjo. Just looked it up, looks like a decent leather case if you're into that. I personally prefer transparent phone cases like the Dbrand ghost case and the ESR kickstand case.
Just need more options other than clear..

They make super strong MagSafe accessories, but reviews say their MagSafe Ring breaks after a few uses. 🤷🏻♂️

ESR released a non-clear black rubber version that I've been using (though I do prefer the clear black version I show in the vid).

@@sprinkleddonuts6094 oh ya the one that can be used as a kickstand too? I have that! haven't been using it though since the ESR magsafe wallet has a finger loop built in and that's what I use daily.
P.s. that magsafe ring has 4.5 stars on 3,000 reviews so I'm sure the ring breaking is a super rare thing and I'm sure ESR would replace it for you if it did break in the first year or whatever.
It’s good not great ! Personally I feel spigen ultra hybrid is better in terms of strength ! This case is functional and value for money but the strength is not that much
Spigen ones are little hard and not flexible! But again this gives more value than that

I googled spigen ultra hybrid and looks like it is just like this ESR case but without the hidden sturdy kickstand mechanism which is really what makes this case unique and worth it for me. Otherwise, it's just another magsafe compatible case from which there are many out there to choose.

Esr is bit soft and flexible but spigen back is little hard and sides are stiff
I only liked esr is providing lanyard port and stand otherwise I would pick spigen as it's much more durable

hah sorry to hear man, ya looks like it's just for iphone 13 pro max and up which is weird. You might have some luck with other brands that make similar cases like Casekoo, Torras, and DUEDUE

Casekoo is better
Found out about that after posting this.. I'll be doing a comparison video soon, I think each has its pros and cons. a con for casekoo case is you can't use the kickstand if you've got a magsafe accessory on the back of ur phone.. say a magsafe charging puck, a magsafe wallet, magsafe pop socket/ring or anything else really... but outside of that, ya I do think I would prefer the broader adjustability offered in portrait orientation vs horizontal on the ESR case shown in this vid.

@@FonzoCapone because I've dropped it on cement more than once lol. usually when getting out of the car or something. Idk if I've been lucky but I've been buying these minimalist ESR kickstand cases for the past 5 or so years and haven't had any phone break on me when dropped. sometimes even legit down stairs.. albeit carpet staircase.
Bear in mind I always use a screen protector too.. though I think it was the iPhone 13 pro max where I didn't and regretted it.. not because the screen broke but because of micro scratches direct on the screen plus I prefer the swiping experience and fingerprint resistance of the latest ESR tempered glass protectors vs the phone screen/glass itself. the best of which is the ESR 'armorite' screen protector imo. Only been using that for 3 days now but so far way better than the other options I've tried in terms of resistance to micro scratches and fingerprints.
