Lol I MADE you buy it! 🙈 You’re so naughty Evie blaming me. Ha ha! I’d end up doing the same thing if I saw you with them too. I’ll keep a look out for your nail arts with them when they arrive. TFW xx 😁🙋🏻💕
Great review! I was on the fence about getting these because the reviews on Amazon were "love or hate" and no obvious reason why some liked the product and why others thought it was trash.
Aww that’s great hun. They are nice and pigmented and great for layered stamping or if you like to take your time. Have fun when yours arrive! TFW 😁🙋🏻💕
Does Born Pretty stamping gel play nice with other brands of gel polish? I have several Sally Hansen gels, a couple Melody Susie, and one Modelones. Thus far I have only used one brand at a time. Because it takes me quite a bit of time to do my nails I have been afraid that mixing and matching will jeopardize the longevity of the look.
Hu hun. I don’t think I used these gel stamping polishes with any BP gel bases so as you can see they worked ok. I think you can often mix n match between gel brands. I tend to mix base and top coats with different branded colour gels and haven’t had any issues. The only thing I can’t necessarily vouch for is the longevity because as a nail artist and swatcher I don’t wear a design for very long. It’s usually only on for a couple of days then it’s on with the next design. Sorry I couldn’t help more. TFW 😘🙋🏻💕
Hi hun and thanks! I use a pad/sheet of paper which I blog the Stamper onto several times. That’s pretty much it. If there’s a left after that I use the lint remover. I hope that helps you. TFW xx 😁🙋🏻💕
I love them! I was thinking about getting some because I heard they are good for someone who is a beginner at stamping because the gel polish doesn’t dry until you cure it and I always have a very hard time with stamping because I’m not fast enough to pick up the image because it is already dry lol. I feel since the image is kind of raised when it is dry maybe you should try putting just some base gel on the image and then cure it so that the powder has something sticky to adhere to. Maybe that will help I don’t know 🤷🏾♀️. But I love 💕 your channel. Tfs. Have a great day.
MVP Nail designs Yes it’s so hard to hurry up and pick up the image when using regular stamping polish. I always fail at it lol. That’s why I’m glad they have these new gel polishes for stamping cause now you can take your time picking up the image.
@@9ninakapone yes I agree ordered some of these just waiting for them to get here lol..have you tried stamping over gel polish that helps too because the sticky layer of the gel helps pull that image off the stamper..💞👍💞😘💞
Thanks hun. I was really scratching my head over this one with the Holo powder. I do however like the fact you have more time to stamp as it doesn’t dry out. Great for newbies and for layered stamping. TFW xx 😁🙋🏻💕
Have you ever watched Lauren Wireman Of Wildflower Nails academy’s vids here on TH-cam Manisha? She sells stamping polishes on her site as well, that are similar to these, but they’re just in black and white and come in squeeze bottles instead of tubes. On her tutorial she uses a bead, or a dot method, as in 4 or five small beads/dots of polish lined up on the stamping plate image to scrape. I’ve tried that and it works quite well on every plate I’ve tried it on, including a really annoying plate from Marianne Nails with peacock feathers etc., on it that is super hard to get polish to pick up on the Stamper. Have a look see on her website and try the holo powder on the Polish after that, and maybe it just might work out, you never know. It’s worth a try maybe? Great ideas for mani’s with these polishes btw! Loved them Take Care Manisha!😊🙋🏻💜🦋💅🏼
Hi Swapna! Yes I do follow Wildflowers here on YT and saw her lovely gel stamping polishes a while back. I might need to go watch her video again for a refresher. I have Moyra gel stamping polishes too that work wonderfully. I just need to remember to use them more 😂 TFW xx 😁🙋🏻💕
Did you try these over gelpolishes or regular polish? And do you think you can stamp these over the “sticky” layer from gelpolish? I loved the swatches! ❤️
These are gel stamping polishes. I stamped them over some gel swatches that I just had in hand from recent reviews. I supose you could stamp them onto sticky gel polish layer but my swatch sticks already had no Wipe top coat on them. 😁🙋🏻💕
@@manishamnaildesigns Okay thanks! I will keep it in mind! I am still waiting for these to review as well I hope they will still arrive tho, but can't wait to try it out !
So i bought one of every color.....now how can i organize them in an efficient way? Bottles of polish are easy to put on shelves. These are top heavy and dont stay standing. Right now, mine are all in a little cubby and i just dont reall reach for them because of that. Any ideas for upright storage?

Thanks for this, was wondering whether to buy or not, but now I will! Holo chrome pigment/powder is made to be burnished on to a cured no wipe top coat *if that's what you were using x
Hi hun. I found out later that to get the burnishing to work you should only cure for about 10-15 seconds max then it works as it still has enough tack to make it stick. I hope this helps. TFW xx😁🙋🏻💕
I love your channel - being in NZ it’s great to find quality reviews in my own country. I have purchased several items seen here. I get lots off eBay due to free postage as many others are a bit prohibitive with high postage costs. I would love to try some other brands ( other than the regular eBay brands) so was wondering if you can recommend a site that has reasonable postage costs to NZ.
Hi Rebecca and welcome to my channel! I usually buy most of my nail art products either from AliExpress or Born Pretty Store. There are a few other retailers that offer free shipping only if you spend over a certain amount. Aiyoohehe is one of them and they are the retailer for Hēhē stamping plates. Unfortunately because of our location we will have to pay shipping and I have gotten used to this or I wait until the store has a special on and have at least 20+ % off or free shipping then I make a purchase. I hope this helps. Let me know if you’re after specific products and I might beable to help you further with your shopping. 😁🙋🏻💕💕
Manisha M. Thank you taking the time to reply, I agree we do have suck up the postage a bit and at least these days we have the opportunity to purchase pretty much anything. Dear sweety can i use gel stamping polish on my regular Nail polish? I use only regular polish i don't use gel polish and tips or acrylic Nails i want to know it thanks a lot Kisses
Unfortunately gel stamping polish is best used for gel polish. But if you use it on regular polish make sure it is completely dry first and the stamping polish will still have to be cured in a LED Lamp or UV Lamp. TFW 😁🙋🏻💕
Cure my stamper for a few seconds And it comes off really easy x I cure for like second then put my powders on gently then cure then rub it on, works perfectly like that for me x if you cute to long it won’t stick x

I've tried the stamping gel but it doesn't work for me. Maybe you have an idea. First I did 3 layers of regular color gel of pink gellak and cured all layers. It was so pretty (no glitter) So then I applied the gel topcoat and ruined it all :(. Do you know what I did wrong?
Hi Rowena.
