F1 Powerboat v GP Hydroplane

This is my race highlights from 2 separate races where Damien McKenzie in his F1 takes on the might of the Kiwi 2000hp Hydroplanes. It's the first time in 20 years of racing these Kiwi Hydros have ever been beaten by an outboard. Amazing footage.

Rules require safety cells to protect the driver in case of a crash and drivers wear protective gear. It's much more dangerous than race cars though in my opinion.

видно что гидроплан заточен на скорость и повороты совсем не его стихия, тогда как ф1 наоборот высокая маневренность и ниже максималка на прямой. гидроплан уже на середине прямой набирает большую скорость чем ф1

Да, F1 определенно может проходить повороты лучше, чем что-либо еще, просто нужно любить лошадиные силы гидромотора.
