I have always wondered...Where is all the footage from Sand Point '74 - The Gold Cup?...or better yet...Seafair '73 KING TV?....The one heat from '74 is on YOU TUBE -- Perfect as one would like.......Was all the rest destroyed?
I don't know how it was then, but now days it doesn't matter where you finish, everyone takes home $10,000. One team also takes home a trophy. The team that sells the most advertisements wins. $10K a race probably doesn't cover travel expenses. It is a heck of a show though.

My Hydro was SEAFURY, I raced it in the Nationals in 1986 in Oregon. Any videos would be appreciated ,hope to see more racing videos up
