Based on news report, Marcus can't bear to complete the divorce with his Taiwanese wife. With large part of Marcus' income going to maintenance for his Taiwanese wife and housing loan repayment, no clear date when divorce with his wife will be completed, any woman in Eileen's position would be feeling extremely insecure. Both Marcus and Eileen are wrong in this whole saga. But being much older, Marcus should bear more responsibilities for making this serious mistake in life. Viewers should also know that Marcus himself had revealed that he also had a failed relationship (which lasted 2 yrs) prior to his marriage to his Taiwanese wife.
I think she's already a legal adult and made this decision eventhough she knew it was wrong. Besides it takes 2 to tango so both should take up equal responsibility for the mess they made.
