I have become aware of all the dark masses, lights and shadows,while walking through an empty parking lot at night and wondered if it was possible to do a painting on site. Thanks.

I live near a harbor area. Love this video! I’ll probably ask permission first so police don’t tell me to pack up and go home.
Glad you dig it John! Sometimes it's good to ask, and others just go and paint and hope nobody cares. If there is a trespassing warning sign, I opt to ask for permission.

Thank you Huchen! It is a solid set up, having a decent alloy/alluminum/carbon fiber tripod helps too. The elements will rust out the cheap ones.
@@Liquidmethod good call, thanks! my tripod is from homedepot loll only $45? i will see if it can hold it, or i will buy a new one. ugh painting just costs a lot, doesn't it?
@@huchenstudio it can feel expensive at first, but once you get a decent set up, most of the cost is replacing brushes, paint and canvas boards.
Nice job! Plein air at night is also near the water with boats - excellent!
