Respect to EMS Zuhaili. I teared up at the story of the infant that he tried so desperately to save, one can only imagine how he felt 😢. Thank you all to our SCDF heroes!
*SCDF has the most stylish clean crispy and professional looking uniform and I encountered many presentable and polite SCDF Officers and they deserve to be respected*
Envy the country that has heroes like them, or pity the country that needs them? Unsung heroes doing dogsbody work. Forging ahead despite ingrates and abuse. I have nothing but respect for you.
The fact is that these heros chose these vocations because of their heart of compassion, their heart is definitely one of the most tender ones.... But they have to bare all the deaths, rudeness and rough situations. Please treat them well....
All of u r heros!!! God bless all of u. So touching video. Police or some form of security shld be given to u all who r rushing to save life. Strangely. I called scdf career hotline today to enquire on the medic career for my son!! Cos it's such a noble job tat many people don't realize or appreciate
It depends on what you define as appreciate, typically people don't want to check out uniform careers as it has the social stigma that "you cannot get other better jobs that's why you sign on". But we all know and do feel thankful to those that actually worked there for us. But we won't want to join due to poor pay or there is simply better career prospects. Even a registered nurse in SingHealth earns more than a SCDF officer with similar experience. Respect and appreciation for Nursing also only increased recently thanks to MOH's revised pay scales due to covid. End of the day, its all about the money.
Our SCDF is fast and I was so thankful that they got to us within 7mins of the call! When you are panicking and watching your loved ones bleeding, suffering and personally just feeling totally helpless, every minute counts. Salute to the hardworking & dedicated men and women of the SCDF! You are truly making a positive impact! ❤
I am thankful to these heroes who helped me when I fractured my ankle outside a mall after a fall. A month later needed their help again as I fractured another 2 toes at home as I was unable to stand with my feet to get to hospital by myself. Salute to them for their rescue.
Yes I am very proud of you guys!! So sorry that i had to be conveyed by ambulance quite a few times to A&E, some with traumatic pain and I was blessed with great and caring team of paramedics. Since way back in the 80s!
Hope all this can broadcast to every channel for educational to everyone. It does help to spread awareness to the public the importance or emergency and respect to the Police, SCDF, medical staff and the army. Knowing their situation, it make us think on their side and react to support them in whatever we can. Salute to them.
Our SCDF are not easy as daily ops and calls are hectic. They worked long hours and getting emotional with life and death issues daily. Respect to SCDF.
I support extremely tough laws for those who block ambulances or abuse paramedics. That said I agree with commenters here who said we have zero training on how to safely give way to responding vehicles. In the same vein, the current instruction to e-brake when the tester/instructor slaps the dashboard is rarely if ever necessary and can lead to knock-on accidents.
Their mindset “Where got block? You not happy i hog lane 1, you change other lane 😂 OR, i hog lane 1 under speed limit, why ambulance speeding behind me”
Thar time when my late mum has lung cancer with very low blood pressure, I called SCDF a few times to our house. I really really respect the officers a lot and so hope if I can be one of them saving lives too. But I can't cos of my character being too emotional and afraid of blood.
The best of human nature in the officers... versus the bottom feeding entitled nature in the people they are trying to help. Thank you SCDF, for always trying your best.
i have more respects for these paramedics than some doctors. Some doctors are just uncaring, obnoxious, and money face... these paramedics are out there on the front line being the first to respond saving precious lives and having to deal with shitty people at times. i hope they are paid well.
sadly Singapore Transport Ministry has little education or does not emphasize during drivers L plate education on Ambulance etiquette. Our Government MUST instill such education at an early age .
So much respect to these Emergency Staffs. I just don’t understand where the entitlement of these abusers are coming from? So much ego and so little empathy -_-“””””
Actually, if possible, can call non emergency police to get them to accompany the person. For drunks, the main concern is choking on their own vomit. If able to, please check if he is breathing and if yes, turn the drunk person on his side so that if he vomits, his vomit wont flow into his respiratory tract. -from a healthcare student who also attends to drunk cases
@@Anonymous-zb8lvStudent only, so full of ideals.. ah so fresh and idealistic. When you graduate, then come back tell us what you think of the frequent flyers that come every friday and sat night ok.
I'll not want to be under the woman assistant director cos she looks so stern and inflexible. But kudos to SCDF paramedics! I can't salute enough to to their dedication in saving lives! People need to be understanding and give the officers time to react and come to the scene.
Is an offence by not giving way to emergency vehicles the errand driver will be fine or jail and might be disqualified from driving again abuse is not an excuse.
My friend’s mum pulled an amber heard on his dad for domestic violence when it was actually the mum who was violent towards his dad, but the staff didn’t believe him 😢
Although I find the efforts of the officers in this video commendable, my own experience with the EMS team was very bad, it was pouring heavily, road was flooded, but the EMS staff who was supposed to escort me to the ambulance just walked ahead with the umbrella over his head and he was wearing boots, and I was left drenched in the rain and my sport shoes were wet. When I got to the ambulance, they did not even offer me a towel to wipe myself dry.
Their job is to save you. Protecting you from rain is just a courtesy 😂 Ambulance equipped with life saving medical supplies. Do you want those supplies to be wasted so that you can dry yourself? 🤡

Time to charge small fees for all calls. Also, privatize EMS.
