The project is looking so great. I am looking forward to continued progress. My house's roof is complicated with hips and multi-levels and I dream of a nice simple roof as yours.

That wood structure underneath doesn't really look like it would be able to support filling the roof with solar panels. Do you have a professional assessment for what roof loads can be supported? Also, the supporting pieces you are adding... I don't see any metal brackets for bracing. You are just using screws alone? That won't be able to take any load.
Thanks for taking us along on this journey of yours. The roof is looking good, can't go wrong with a metal roof, we have one on our home.
They say "when you do it yourself, a different level of quality appears". Nice work!

Yes I have a safety harness one of the next drops actually is to secure a fixing point to the top of the roof for the harness.
Good job that is a huge roof
Yes it's a huge roof and it's also south facing for over 10 years we've been planning to put solar panels on it!!
Looks good, nice work. Hopefully the weather holds for you - we've rain forecast from tomorrow for several days in the SE of England.
Hopefully it's not too rainy next week when we install the panels.
Very nice. 😊
