Wow if they let you edit from the view where you can see all the channels it would allow you to come at the sequencers from a whole new angle. Awesome module and description, thanks!
Oh my goodness! The variable length gates are so good! Smart how you’re able to modify pages without playing those pages. I’m not even that far in and feel like this sits right in the pocket between deterministic and exploratory in terms of sequencer. You can have lots of intention but you can also create and perform at the same time. Too bad about being sent two sequencers. Any plans to do a video on the controller? To be honest, I’m most interested in the sequencer, but figured I’d ask. Also, so on point using an LPG (I think). Sounds so good!
Tricky business that the module changes with a button combo right? Regardless, the sequencer alone seems to work really well as a preset manager of sorts on a crossfader, especially with control to morph or not. Can the sequencer be set up to change to the crossfaded values on clock ticks? Sort of as if you did a sample and hold kinda deal. I feel like it would be really fun performance wise with that. If not, I guess, you can always do that outside of the case. I feel like I have some thinking to do about my varigate 4+. If I replaced that with this, it could solve a main gripe and give much less confusing access to these functions. Plus, add it with the Bard Quartet and you’ve got endless jams! Thanks for this amazing video!
Would you recommend 1. buying a midi hub to connect with a groovebox (one midi out) or 2. get a groovebox with multible cv outs to sequence a modular system or 3. get a sequence module, if you are a beginner?
Watching this explanation on how this complete disaster of an interface "works" makes me want to fish my urine soaked "Maths" out of the toilet and give Eurorack one more try. Inspiring!
As an owner of the original Catalyst i feel like the sequencer functionality is weirdly out of place for the interface. It may just be my workflow and preferences but man it seems incredibly hard to get remotely "predictable" or "musical" results. It just gets way to crazy way too fast. And all those button combinations and secondary functionality seems so hard to remember to me. The original crossfader is just so powerful and intuitive i'd just never use the sequencer. But then again everybody has their own workflow.
Ah! I thought it was a rev of a previous one. I was seeing that here and there in searches and was just so curious. Yeah, I feel like utilizing the crossfader makes it work like a completely different module. It feels somewhat out of place without sample and hold to clock or something as a sequencer but as a preset manager on a crossfader, I love that!

I went to see the Ozric Tentacles live last week. Some of this is really hitting that vibe! Love it. 🍄✨🌌
Saw them in the early 90s.. hadn’t thought about them in awhile. Time to dig out some CDs! 😂
Welcome back and have a nice day
"You can have as many steps as you want. I'm not your dad."
what modular case is that?
Beautiful!
Amazing sequencer! I feel like i would get easily confused by the multi-page interface while performing, myself, but it does a ton in a small package.
I wonder if it has a cross fader
This looks like a great replacement for my Bloom - and it has REAL ratcheting.
exactly what i just did. no regrets
Damn, I didn’t think I needed this but now of course I do - thanks, Jeremy ;)
I see Bard Quartet above it (same here and I'm tempted to lose it) does the Bard still get much use alongside a quantised sequencer like this?
This is incredible. I might look into selling my metropolix with the bonus of extra HP kind of incredible
great stuff! this video is outstanding. musically, methodically and very creative... a pleasure to watch. thanks for this!

I wonder if you can link 2 channels to be basically 1 channel of gate+pitch? Without the need to align 2 channels manualy

That explains the missing video I had lined up to watch :D
I should not watch this again. OMG that 'scrub'.
I haven’t even watched it yet and I feel as though I’m in trouble!
@28:30 this is a great use case
Shit….,I love it! Great vid as always. 🤟✌️👍
"I'm not your dad" hahaha
damn you're spicy
Rainmaker and 4MS Catalyst
Like (times two!!)
Would you recommend

2. get a groovebox with multible cv outs to sequence a modular system or
3. get a sequence module,

Then oscillator and lfo modules❤❤❤
Wooowww ❤❤❤❤ how much do you value your modular system in money?
I am buying a eurorack housing and a midi to cv converter for play+ next payday❤❤❤❤
So cool is right✌️
Maybe you can make a vid with that new taiga synth with 2 or 3 modules put in there to make it interesting.

WTF ??? To flip the firmware you just need to press a few buttons ....
