I once tried fake crying as an experiment with my first serious girlfriend to learn her reaction to it. She was immediately disgusted and started mocking me. The path of emotional empathy from a woman to a man is very short, but she expects it to be an endless highway when it's leading to her.

One of my degrees is in Statistics and when having a discussion with my sister, she will say something like, "well I don't think that's true because I know someone that . . . " and then I end up having to try to explain how statistics works. Every time! Her degree is in Art History so . . . you know what I mean?
The lady at the beginning is so right. Women, don’t ask a question unless you really want the answer. “Does this dress make me look fat?” No, your body makes you look fat, but the dress isn’t helping.

It's sad to see the comments from all the guys whose girlfriends' left them soon after they cried in front of them. My boyfriend cried infront of me before many years ago and he's no longer my boyfriend. He's my husband and we are expecting our 3rd child. Sure I've done most of the crying in the relationship but on the rare occasions my husband is in need I certainly don't cringe.
How narcissistic is it to expect men to just understand women. However, women are not expected to so the same.
I cried in front of my then girlfriend and within two weeks the relationship was over. A few months pass when we sat down and discussed why the relationship ended, she told me seeing me cry made her feel disgusted and she couldn't look at me the same way after that.
