It's the right wing - in the US but also some in the UK and other European countries - claiming it's all Ukraine and the EU's fault because they won't give Russia what they want. While there are claims on US social media sites that the US will stop the war by handing over large parts of Ukraine to Russia if the 'wrong' person gets in in November.

Participation may be growing. Sadly, the casualty rates for both sides are high, in this campaign. For Russians . they can simply issue another wave and retain this form for years. Ukraine does not have the same asset. Although, they have a tactical disadvantage, they can cause a heavy toll to the Russians. If the Ukrainians target Russian officials, they can gain an edge on the war. However, the contribution, in the long term, may shrink because of the country population . Most Ukrainians prefer to leave than be drafted.

Spot on, unfortunately most of russia's casualties are not russian, they are Ukrainian. The men in the occupied territory fighting for putler have paid a horrific price for being part of the empire. Men from minority regions have more troops at the front right now, than ethnic russians. Even mercenary and foreign volunteer casualties outnumber blue blood losses.
@@dr.williams5251 Well , it is not good for morale to be a minority to represent a majority. The reality , is that the Russians are not willingly going to the front. I doubt that the "original " units are still alive. They lost so many, and gain few. Not the best results of the war.
Thankfully, the numbers do not lie, and only approximately 20,000 Ukrainians have chosen to dodge the draft by running away, which is a fraction of those who have volunteered for the armed forces of Ukraine, even without those who are being drafted and therefore don't get to choose their military specialisation. Furthermore, with 6:1 casualty rates and the terrorists running very low on some types of equipment already, the marine battle won and the air battle is likely to be as soon as the F-16s are let loose, the attrition rate is only likely to get worse for the terrorists, not better. They have lost the ability to give any kind of effective training, having committed the experienced troops from their training battalions long ago, when they were putting off the announcement of conscription to further the pretence of some kind of democracy, so the infantry are getting little more than a demonstration of how to use a Kalashnikov and a single spell on the range, while their tankers only need to be able to drive a tank along a road before being sent along the one that only leads to their immolation. More complex roles are a huge problem for them, as they are very short of capable pilots and that will become a massive problem once the F-16s are released to combat. Not only is the F-16 a full generation ahead of anything the terrorists can field in any numbers, but the F-16 pilots are getting a full, NATO standard, course in battlefield management that they, with their radars and communications, will be able to conduct - and more pilots can be trained in the civilised word as needed.
The terrorists are rapidly running out of hardware, men, fuel and money, and we in the civilised world need to be planning on how we intend to deal with the many states the terrorist empire will dissolve into as it collapses, in order to give the best prospect of their becoming civilised members of the world order instead of rogue states with nuclear arms, a nightmare none of us want (although given their smaller size, far easier to deal with than the current situation, where we have the failed remnants of a superpower with nuclear arms).
We need urgently to claw back the savage cuts that were made in our armed forces, so that they will be capable of fighting a heavy ground war once again, but that will need a lot of investment to bring them up to standard, and quickly. The perfect is the enemy of the good, and that needs to be the underlying foundation of our procurement.

Modern Tanks do exist but to supply planed 0.5 million European army you need minimum 2000-3000 tanks. No production facility exist in Europe for this volume.
Between Germany and France they can scrape max 300-400 tanks. Russia has these thousands volumes of modern T90 as most of tanks used in Ukraine war was old scrap utilized well.
Raw materials. Today Russia supplies Europe with aluminum and titanium. This can be stopped. Lack of cheap energy and raw materials will make it impossible to create European army.
