I would predict Newcastle higher at around 7th. Remember they have top players like Wilson and Trippier back from injury and finished the last 20 games of last season with the 3rd highest points tally. I think their transfer policy looks similar to Everton's - piss poor. And I don't rate Gerrard as a manager.
Newcastle are still missing key pieces, they'll finish 8th. Leicester have the best 11 outside of the top 6. Fofana only leaves for 100m+ (hes got 5 years left in his contract) and Youri will probably stay.
@@chrisseal3677 Yeah Newcastle are missing a right winger and backup striker at the moment, so just depends whether they strengthen these positions by the end of the window, I'd expect at least 1 in. Brentford are the one that will be way higher than your prediction, them finishing 13th was an underperformance statistically (even before Eriksen) and they regularly performed well against the big teams, with results often falling short of their performances. Also "second season syndrome" literally doesn't exist with only 15% of all relegations coming in a team's second season. @Red eyed Wolf it was a statistical underperformance, that cannot be argued because it's literal fact. Potter should get some love. And the pick i would make is Spurs 1-2 and pool 3rd. Arsenal have a high but often with a young team you get highest high and the lowest low.
Enjoy Goodison Park in a few months. This coming from a Liverpool supporter. I just think Everton does have the capability. They just need to be steered the right way. Tarkowski and Coady are going to balance the defence finally. Their players are good and just need that spark.
Lol my issues with your picks are strange, as I think the bottom half are correct... However, I think wolves, Southampton, Aston villa and Everton are all in for tough seasons. I think Southampton and wolves ownerships will have caused their problems, and I think the managerial appointments and Everton and villa will get found out. As a Leeds fan, I hope Murica ball works out for us, jury is well and truly still out. Fingers crossed 🤞
Yeah, I can see why you've made those predictions. I think you're probably not far off, or even spot on, with your top 7. I do think Villa, Wolves and Leicester are going to have off seasons though, with Villa particularly low. I actually have Gerrard as the first manager to be sacked. I think Brighton, Newcastle and Crystal Palace will do better, or at least challenge for those places. Relegation, oof, I think it's going to be tight this year. I don't think Brentford are going to go down though, so I think you might be heading there!

Good Morning Zealand, I grew up in South West London and very happy to show you around the Brentford area come May 😅🤣😬 It would be quite handy for you as Sky Sports the main premier league broadcaster is also based in Brentford. We need to get you on Soccer AM!
I honestly have Everton to go down Lampards a fool and their recruitment has been awful for years Brentford finish around 15th. Newcastle higher they closed out last year phenomenally, Palace a little higher I just think they play good stuff super combative Leicester a lot lower they can't stop shipping goals I thinks its 20+ games since they last had a clean sheet that's just going to be worst with Kasper leaving. Wolves look shy of goals for me it's a tough one though to predict.
I think based on this season so far... Eze is back and better. Maybe one midfield signing and Palace is top 10. Olise and Zaha and Eze are literal wizards.
Predictions aren't bad at all, I have a similar feeling about Brentford although I hope I'm wrong. I'd put Villa and wolves behind Newcastle, Brighton and Palace however. Villa in particular have done nothing on the pitch since Gerrard took over to make me believe they'll finish that high up the table.
I think the guess that is furthest off is Brentford. Think they are not going to be near the relegation zone, but will instead fight about the mid table positions.

As some have said already, you're probably going to Brentford. Say hi to Thomas Frank, he seems pretty cool!
Their players are good and just need that spark.
unfortunately frank lampard is fat
Lol my issues with your picks are strange, as I think the bottom half are correct... However, I think wolves, Southampton, Aston villa and Everton are all in for tough seasons. I think Southampton and wolves ownerships will have caused their problems, and I think the managerial appointments and Everton and villa will get found out.
As a Leeds fan, I hope Murica ball works out for us, jury is well and truly still out. Fingers crossed 🤞
Everton: We have financial problems.
*pays 33.5 Million for a player*
Midtable Serie A, La Liga, Bundesliga Teams: *excuse me what the fck*
See you outside the Manscaped offices then. No way they’re doing that well in the EPL.
People always under estimate Klopp’s transfer dealings… But he hasn’t made errors over the last 5 years so if he is happy for Mane to play elsewhere that’s good enough for me!
Good Morning Zealand, I grew up in South West London and very happy to show you around the Brentford area come May 😅🤣😬
It would be quite handy for you as Sky Sports the main premier league broadcaster is also based in Brentford. We need to get you on Soccer AM!
Cant wait to welcome you to st james park my friend
Villa has some great fans. Hope you enjoy meeting them next may.
I will be super happy to see you at Stamford Bridge.
see you at old trafford
Loving the fit Z
I honestly have Everton to go down Lampards a fool and their recruitment has been awful for years Brentford finish around 15th. Newcastle higher they closed out last year phenomenally, Palace a little higher I just think they play good stuff super combative Leicester a lot lower they can't stop shipping goals I thinks its 20+ games since they last had a clean sheet that's just going to be worst with Kasper leaving. Wolves look shy of goals for me it's a tough one though to predict.
Book your tickets to Brighton, they are getting top 6 this year
I think based on this season so far... Eze is back and better. Maybe one midfield signing and Palace is top 10. Olise and Zaha and Eze are literal wizards.
Love your style and channel. I don’t follow football manager but love all the other content
You have to do that "United States of America" thing every single time you say it from now on, forever. It is magnificent.
Glad to see some confidence in Southampton
This looks pretty good to me. So many commentators are putting teams where they finished last season
7:00 Not an PL fan, but I think you are right, they have good players. But they also have a competent coach, so why put them so low?
Looking forward to seeing you infront of Gtech Community Stadium ;) haha great video
I think the guess that is furthest off is Brentford. Think they are not going to be near the relegation zone, but will instead fight about the mid table positions.
8:55 Man just forgot FM God Callum Wilson
See you in Nottingham 🌳
Do you base this on fm squads or watching prem footy?
To be fair, the first 1-3 games are the most unpredictable in the season.
You're either going to St. James Park or the Molineux
united fan here. see you at OT because there’s no way this squad finishes that high.
13:07 ok but what about one because you picked them to finish too high
Great idea!
Probably best to keep an eye on flights to Manchester 👀
Yeah becuse he messed that one up...
Why would you do this before the window ends? Newcastle just added Isak and have a great chance
Zealand should make an FPL League
Currently off 10 places on both Brentford and Fulham, the race is on
you'll be going to United to shame them
zealand, i don’t really know if you should come to Birmingham to apologize to Villa fans for guessing us to be 10th when we will get relegated…
