You add a ton of value my guy. Respect. Perfect blend of tactics and tutorial. Not preaching.
Appreciate it. Thanks for checking out the video.
This is beautiful guitar and drums in the mpc, watching from jamaica
The videos are great. I ended up getting an MPC One after watching you do essentially the kinds of things I wanted to do! Thanks so much. Keep up the excellent work.
Thats wassup. I have the X and im looking to pick up guitar again soon. Thx for this
MPC X The 👑 💯 2.11.6
Nice playing, this is very inspiring and educational for me as a former guitarist getting into electronic production with my X and some synths.
Good to hear. The X is rather good for making music. Thanks for watching.
Cool. Good job
Direct monitor is really missing on the Mpc Live (because of latency), personally I’m using a mixing desk with effects send (going to the Mpc) for my guitars/synths/mics... Another cool tip, when more of 8 tracks is needed, is to transform these tracks in programs, so the 8 audio tracks can be used again!
what do you mean direct monitor is missing? you are able to listen to what is already recorded when you record your new track, right?
I appreciate your videos brother!
...AAAAAANND SUBSCRIBED. Thanks a ton man.
When recording instruments with a long tail (ie. a long reverb), did anyone figure out how to have the audio track longer than the sequence, so the tail is allowed to finish into the next sequence?
Respect Brother!
Matthew I really enjoyed your video. I would humbly request that for you future videos
, if you could just slow it down a bit. Between your editing and hands and fingers moving so fast over the screen, it makes it difficult to keep up with you. But other than that, great video !
Thanks for the tip!
Hi Matthew , great channel , Q. Would I be able to connect my Technics 1200 mk2 straight into the MPC X or does the turntable have to have a built in pre amp to be able to do this ? Thanks
I need your opinion. I am a guitar player, singer, drummer. A have logic pro all set up with a 24ch mixex/interface. I would like to have something quicker and more tactile. I got the force, but the state of the software is just not there yet. A lot of small annoying stuff. I will return it. mpc one or live be more usable for me? The X is too large and expensive.
@Paskel Berry I got the Force but in my opinion the software is not ready yet so I ended up returning it. I may get it again once they get the software and workflow ready. It is a completely new instrument in a way.
I have an MPC X . I’m trying to figure out what the sample rate (kHz) for the 24 bit depth. I’ve googled that it’s 44.1 kHz in standalone, but I would feel a lot more comfortable if I could view that within the MPC to confirm that that’s true. I’ve only found a window where I can change from 16 bit to 24 bit, and no kHz information is displayed. In controller mode, you’re supposed to have multiple options for the kHz settings. I can only (my preference) record audio in standalone. So I need to make sure the kHz setting for my guitar is correctly matched to the mpcx. Basically, I’m just trying to figure out how I can get into the MPC X, and see those options for myself before recording. Where can I see it displayed? I’m really only looking for confirmation that I’m doing it correctly. Any info is appreciated!
Dope bro
Thanks 💯
Hey! Love your work. What do you think about upgrading from mpc one to mpc x? Is it worth it? Thanks in advance :)
The way you have your acoustic guitar connected to the mpc can you use the guitar as a midi controller for other sounds in the mpc?
No, because it audio, not MIDI. There is such a thing as a MIDI guitar though!
Awesome video bro. Can you change the bpm with the drums at the same time or do you need to timestretch the Audio track separately to sync with the drums?
You can change it alltogether with the built in warp function. Doing it right now. There also some ease of life ways to record tracks with less work.
@@roccothamanoidis Thanks Bro!!
Can u ad live FXs on the guitars ?
on my mpc one . when i try to make a new audio track, its deleting the first one ? , can anybody help `?
GOOD INFO
Thanks
Do you have any videos that show how to deal with pops/clicks that you hear when audio tracks loop around after recording instruments into them?
Hello, is there a lot of good acoustics logiciel instruments because I am not an electronic musician. But I would like to quit the softwares that are not stable...
How many audio tracks can you add?
Can you record thru effects in real time, or do you have to add the effects later?
Add effects live.
I hit the 100th like 👍💯
My friend! 👊
How would you quantize your music is you keep layering? Thanks
Hey Matthew. I noticed that you switched from the live to the X. One thing I’ve been considering is if the X has a noticeable increase in input sound quality. In the specs, it shows a slight increase, but coming from the live have you noticed this as noticeable to the ears??
I'm not really sure if they MPC X gives a massive improvement on the inputs. I haven't really officially tested it. It does give you an instrument and mic inputs in addition to the line and turntable inputs so it has that going for it.
@@MatthewStratton ok thanks, I appreciate the reply.
Help why do my guitar recordings always record over (delete) any beat i made?
Sounds like you are recording over the sequence or track you just recorded, make separate tracks as shown on this video and you should be ok
awesome, most def considering the MPC X to go next to the force, what do you reckon?
If you are doing a ton of sampling, I would say go for the MPC X for sure. The Force can do a lot of what the MPC X can do, but for sampling, the MPC X does it better.
Matthew Stratton Is the Force better for sequencing songs?
