I love making homemade play dough for my little girl. I've experimented with all sorts of colours and scents (not added glitter before though and probably won't because of my feelings re: micro plastics) This christmas I made some snowman playdough. I switched out plain flour for cornflour to make it extra snow white (regular flour makes it slightly beige coloured) and added vanilla essence. It smelled gorgeous and felt all silky smooth. Paired it with some strips of felt for scarves, pipe cleaners for arms, bottle caps (that I got from our local scrapstore) for hats and cloves for lumps of coal for eyes and mouth. My daughter loved it and is still asking to play with it now in sunny July

Sounds like so much fun! If you do want to use glitter you can get eco-friendly brands or use edible glitter 🙂
Also meant to say if you use cornflour instead of regular flour it makes it gluten free. Great for kids with gluten allergies (celiac)
