Not sure there's an appropriate adjective to describe what DTR is capable of ... But IF you want your car done right the first time, IF you don't want any corners cut & IF you are looking for "perfection" in the way DTR pursues excellence with each & every project; THEN get on their waiting list and GO HERE ! I couldn't be happier with my car now and THANK YOU so very much for another DTR style "masterpiece." YES, "...please keep rolling..."

Nice work on that car and now the owner can take greater pride in ownership. Sadly, many folks will never know what it's like to drive one of these fine automobiles.
Had a 65 SS 396 convertible that we stripped down to metal and man that lacquer was a challenge to remove, ended up using polycarbonate stripping discs to get it done without damaging the metal. Surprisingly that car had less than average rust and zero collision damage. Nice job on the video as well and please keep rolling...

Grt job on a truly unique car. The gaps from the factory on these and most cars of the day were truly not the best. I am in the process of aligning all but began with a body lift and new body mounts, then quarters, and now door pins and then inner doors and jambs. My initial judgement of any car begins with do0r jambs and seams. Rocker panel detail is paramount. I like to drive my cars, so its one shot paint with factory style peel. Urethane is great for simple non metallic colors and base clear for more showy metallic. Find the right painter and a sophisticated booth and save tons of money in sanding and buffing...these cars were lacquer and never presented as show quality as they drove away from the dealerships...but hey as you say ........each to his/her own taste. Keep the technical stuff coming and best of luck pleasing the customer...lay it out straight and your shop will always be humming. My best client said....just a little more right! Do right do it once!

Nice, nice, nice. Nice color, nice hubcaps, nice options.
Here's my wagon I just picked up:

Floors are solid, although it has (drumroll please), the quintessential rusted through frame on both sides at base of firewall. I _might_ have a usable frame, and could swap in a 350 or 454. Unfortunately mine also was a junkyard relic, and certain bits are gone, but thankfully they didn't strip it too far.

So it was hit in the right rear Quarter, probably folded the quarter, bent the decklid & a new lamp & bumper were used, just spit it out, I'm sure most people can guess what happened.
Poor original repair that you corrected. If that's the only problem we can move on with a 56-year-old car.
