I'm doing identical sheet metal work on a 65 ss convertible. Parked for 33 years. It turned into a frame off restoration. I'm 50% done with the restoration. Hope to have it finished by next summer. Enjoying your videos. Hope you finish your project before I finish mine. Thanks

I like the other cars you're working on, I've had a 442 also & liked. But I'm hoping to watch the progress on the 67 Chevelle. Thanks!

Good video!! To our didn't get off track. So many others give a lot of information not related to their projects. I'm will definitely be looking to see other videos from you on this project. I did the same thing to my 67. Although I didn't have to do the roof panel. But front an rear windshield channels. And also the complete floor. So I will definitely be watching your process on this Chevelle

The 67 Chevelle is the best muscle car ever to me! But they go through a lot. It just takes a lot of time. They make pretty much any panel you need. If you have the money! The hood must be an SS though the car just doesn't fill right without one! I wish I could help! There's nothing I miss more than my 67 SS Chevelle I had for years. Mine was, 67 Corvette yellow with A touch of purl, 396 with a 4-speed V gate shifter, Black diamond tuck interior & bucket seats & console. At the time it was the fastest car in town. Of course, the cops thought so to, thay can sure make it hard to keep the car! Good luck.

      Thanks for the comment. I’m
Sorry I haven’t followed up on this project. This car at this moment 10/23, the project is nearly finished as far as what I am doing to it. I ended up basically replacing every single exterior panel on the body. Maybe when I’m all done with it I’ll make a follow up. Thanks for watching

Same process for me on my 66, glad I made the decision to replace with AMD panels. My car is now 8 years old and in pristine condition. I recommend smooth firewall panel also. Many awards with my car and very fortunate to have a great body guy and painter.

I’ve done a bunch of huge panel replacement jobs and sometimes at first seems like a lot but long term it make the entire process easier. I have not update this job in a while but it is almost all painted and put together. Looking at overall costs, panel replacement over fabrication and body time makes the job that much cheaper. But not all cars have this much panel availability

@@freshfarms5491 I have some more but then went further on the project and stopped recording. I’m going to try to make a video once it’s closer to being totally done and talk about everything I did
